Boost has a ridiculous policy where they keep your phone locked for 12 months from the day of activation, regardless of whether or not it is completely paid off. I needed to get out of Boost's clutches, but also needed my phone to transfer to a new provider. The first codes came in within the day and, after some typing them in blind (nothing appears when you type them in) the SIM was disabled as promised but regretfully not the network. I had to register for a ticket on their site and after a reminder a week or so later I got a direct email link going that finally resulted in another code that means that now I have my trusty bb unlocked to use with other networks.
Best not to hurry the process. Don't do as I did - ie switching networks before ensuring that everything is unlocked or you will have to get by with a cheap unlocked phone whilst you struggle to unlock your main one.
4 not 5 stars due to me chasing them, otherwise I would use again.

These guys are awesome! I had followed other youtube how-to's on how to unlock blackberry torch--beware-they did not work and only had 2 chances left. They first sent 4 codes, my son was confused. Only had one left. Cellunlocker continued communicating with me asking me for more information to get the right code... suspense... only had ONE chance left. It had to be right! So they guided me to the last detail, and lo and behold--IT WORKED! My phone is unlocked. I cannot stop singing their praises! Their customer service is amazing! Please beware of other youtube videos showing how to unlock... some do not work :(
I must admit I didn't expect the pin unlock to work, as Cellunlocker are based somewhere 8 hours behind UK time. I'd already spoken to my previous network provider (TMobile) who were asking £20. Cellunlocker were much cheaper and it was easy to follow their website and email instructions. It only took 10 minutes for the unlock code to be emailed back to me. It didn't work the first time, so I took out the battery and sim card a few times. After half and hour I re-input the unlock code and it worked. I'm really impressed with the service and would definitely recommend. Thanks
