Art scratched away, phone case coming apart
November 12, 2022

Had the phone case for a year and a half now. The back are starting coming away around 3 months into owning the phone and now looks tacky as hell and I've recently found the side panels are separating from the back piece, for £50 it's a cheap and nasty product

Awful quality

In mere months my case started falling apart and I thought it was just a fluke but when the offered me a free replacement that one fell apart even quicker. The bumper all around the edge just starts coming off and it's seriously not worth the money. You can get a case for much cheaper that will last much much longer.

The worst company

This is absolutely the worst company with the worst customer service. I bought a case strap card that did not make my case fit right and when I drop my phone, my new phone screen shattered. I asked how I could return for a refund and after talking to what seemed like 1 million customer service agent via email (because the same person does not answer an email) They finally said I could send it back free of charge and they would refund me. Well, I just got my refund today and they did end up charging me to ship it back. Which they said they wouldn't. So now I am currently fighting the return shipping charge, which will usually take me another two weeks until someone actually helps me. Do not buy from this company.

I purchased a phone case back in Jan 2021. It cost me £55, It took a significant time to be delivered and I tried to cancel - which I was told wasn't possible (which is a lie). Anyway, I accepted the delay, it got delivered several weeks later and I starting using it. This was the first challenge (which I swallowed).

Fast forward: I contacted Casetify in September 2022 because the case has broken down - sent pictures and was told it was out of warranty. I'm not fussed about an internal process or policy, I care that I spent £55 on a phone case that's fallen apart with less than 18 months use.

Anyway, I can't really be bothered with the argument because Casetify are just rubbish. They've offered me 15% off another purchase (LOL) but that isn't going to work.

My advice: don't spend your cash here, take it elsewhere - you'll save money and you'll waste less time.

Would Not Recommend

Casetify are cute but not worth the price. The images are just printed on top of the case and can easily be scratched. I purchased a case and put a MagSafe ring on it overnight and the image got scratched.

Would've been nice if they had put some sort of clear coat over it or something.

I reached out to customer service to request a return on my item because I wasn't happy about the quality and was informed that they'll give me a refund to my original form of payment. Instead they gave me store credit and I've been going in circles with the Facebook customer service reps.

I didn't realize that Casetify is an international company so be sure to use a credit card that doesn't charge a foreign transaction fee.

Overall, not too happy with my experience.

Horrible Quality for a $120 (AUD) phone cover. Completely scratched within a few weeks of delicate indoor use. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. No option of money return, they just send you another similar product which Im sure will end up the same.

Delivery is shocking

Over 2 weeks later and still no sign of the case, tracking number doesnt work and websites "my order" doesnt work.
Considering i paid 50£ id expect a bit more :/

Wish I could give it zero stars

I've had my case for exactly a year now and it has totally fell apart! I emailed them and they can't replace it or anything I paid $72 for this case to last way longer than a year! I tried to leave a review on their page but I can't figure out how to probably because they only want 5 star reviews on their page

Case edge separating after 9 months.

UPDATE: Casetify reached out and said they would offer a one time replacement.

I purchased this case back in 12/2021 and the edges have started to separate from the case. I reached out to customer service to see if it could be repaired. They said their warranty is only for 6 months and offered a 15% off coupon. Why would I spend more money on a case that can't even last a year? Also why would I spend more money at your company if you don't stand behind your product? I've had cheap cases from Amazon that have lasted for more than 2 years. $50 cases should last more than 9 months.

Terrible quality.

Bought this less than a year ago looking at their very positive reviews on Trustpilot. Wish we had seen Sitejabber reviews before. With regular and normal use, the case is coming apart at the sides in less than a year. Very poor quality for the price. Bought three cases and paid $75 for their personalized case. The print on the case is also chipping. Complete waste of $$

Bad quality

Pattern peeling off …. Contacted customer service and no replacement was given instead they offered a 15% off coupon. Uhhhh if it's peeling off like this why would I spend $70 for another one even if it's 15% off? That's surely a good way of resolving it. Avoid at all cost!

It's a sticker

Scam!

These Cases are great at protecting phones, however, I swear this company is a scam! They have 6 months warranty and every case I have bought from them breaks exactly on 12 months. The case splits at the seems! The customer service don't give a damn either. All probably part of their way to make money!

Broken Phone After 2 Months

The drop distance is a pure lie. My phone had not been damaged in 2 years with a different case. It was old so I decided to replace witg a resh new case for my s20 ultra. The castify case had almost no lip to protect screen. It fell 3 feet, screen shattered. $400 dollar repair after paying for a 70 sollar case. DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR HIGH DOLLAR PHONE.

I don't understand how this company is still in business. I've never gotten what I've ordered from them, and I'm just talking about a single order. FOUR TIMES they sent me the wrong product, taking forever each time, and then they gave me the runaround each time they would exchange the wrong product and then, eventually... send me a different BUT ALSO WRONG phone case. Each time I communicated with them (by email only, you cannot reach a real person), it would take hours or even days to get a response. When I did get a response, it was never what I asked for, which was simply return info so I could send the incorrect case back to them and finally get a refund. They kept insisting on sending another case! I don't want to keep getting the wrong case from them, I just want a return and refund. I'm now filing a claim with my bank.

Amazing! - 1.5 years later

I bought my case 1.5 years ago and i have not had a single problem with it. All of the floral design on the back is still intact with no scratches, and it has saved my phone from countless fall. 10/10 will buy again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE EVER

PLEASE DONT YOU EVER BUY SOMETHING FROM THIS PLACE!
I bought a MagSafe case for my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and i cant even use it because the magnet is so weak that my lightweight MagSafe wallet almost stick to it, I barely touch it and it flies away from my phone. I paid 75$ for this piece of ****. The price is ridiculous for the product and the customer service is AWFUL, they didn't give me any solution, they asked for a video showing the problem, I sent one to them and they reply something totally different to the problem I have, then I asked for a refund and they say they wouldn't give me back the 15$ shipping fee I paid to get the case and also I have to pay another shipping fee to get it back to them. It's RIDICULOUS. And reading other reviews about people that sent the product back and never get the refund I just prefer to stay with the case rather than losing the money of the case + the shipping fees and staying with nothing. So seriously, get yourself something way better for half the price, I was used to buy from Velvet Caviar, very sturdy cases with strong MagSafe and now I regret trying Castify just because it's "popular" (seriously I don't know why or how) instead of staying with my already trusted brand of cases.
