Purchased recently a report of the car that was imported to Poland from Denmark.
Report only included 2 mileage points, when the car was very new 17km, and most recent with just below 140k km, nothing in between.
I went on the Danish government official website and was able to check mileage history from inspection records and found out not only technical inspection reports but also what mileage was in between. All for free!
You would expect paid report to include information like that, hence only 3 stars.

Otherwise the report did check for car's damage, has it been stolen etc.

I received a report with all info considered relevant by carvertical not by me as customer: all specs of the car were written in polish language so I cannot understand a word. Beside, a short description of car in report refers to petrol engine performances and data while the car about I asked info is a diesel engine equipped. Thanks a lot for stole my money!

Car Vertical- Used this service (following recommendation of Mat Armstrong on Youtube) to check out a vehicle that I knew was a Cat S damaged repairable, hoping it may shed some light on the exact extent of damage and maybe some photographic evidence.
No such luck. It just stated it was a Cat S. All this service appears to do is pull together information that is FREELY available! Useful maybe in compiling it for you but nothing newly informative.

I do rate car vertical as good. I had a discount code but no way of using it, which is why I gave a 4 score. Needed quick report so no time. I tried a few times so disappointed, but the report is excellent.

I needed to check a car's history and this search did give me a warning flag on the recorded mileage. The search told me the mileage was recorded in Nov 2018 at xx, xxx and then in Dec 18 at roughly 10k less. From the MoT history from Gov.uk site (which I am surprised this report didn't include) I know that the Nov reading was from the MoT, but I am given no indication where the Dec reading was submitted. You must know how that information came to be imputed, so why do you not give details of where that info came from? But at least the info on the Cat N classification gave more insight.
N. B. "add photos about your experience" What kind of photo?

Do yourself a favour and spend extra 45$ but get the report from carfax. I got one from carvertical only because it was cheap and reviews were good.The report said everything was clear. Just one night before the payment i decided to get the legit Carfax and not only did it show accident but the odometer reading was way higher than the one carVertical was showing.The car did have an actual accident.Not saying that they intentionally hid the facts but their data sources might be limited and not providing the accurate information.

For half of the amount paid here, I received more information about the damages of the checked cars from another similar site (twice more damages found).
More than that, the same other site found 3 issues / reasons for recalls by the manufacturer at the checked models, compared to 0 (zero) found here...
Not to mention that, included in the same price, I received from the other site also an estimated value of the checked cars, based on the production year + the mileage...
I know that "Advertising is the soul of the business", but it seems that in this case there is too much advertising and too few concrete results here...

I did receive a report almost empty, mileage shown is 14km when car is now 170.000km and been French all time meaning a technical official check every two years. How can I trust the rest of infos?

Data provided show years of records of mileage missing and incomplete. A car can't disappear from records for 10 years and then show up with 100k km more. The good part is that the car's equipment is listed and where the car was registered. Having a 5,000 euro difference between lower and higher cost of a repair could mean a lot for a car. I believe these data are not very accurate.

Instant report (takes a few seconds) as well as the ususal checks, gives all MOT history, with advisories. Helped me avoid a car that had clearly not been looked after or serviced. An essential check before buying a car. All other checks are comprehensive too, mileage, outstanding finance, accidents etc

Had payed car check from my phone, but forgotten to activate my account & the report was not sent. Wrote an email to support team and they helped me real quick. Fast service and really quick car check, totally recommend it!

Exactly everything I was wanting to know about the vehicle I purchased. The previous owner didn't really have any good info about the history of the car. Found out I'm the sixth owner of this car, service records, mileage on the odometer was incorrect, (seller had already told me that info). Great report IMO, worth every penny. Yes, should have done this prior to purchase, but good info to have on hand. Would recommend this site!

Pricy service with decent info on cars just in the usa they converted it automatically and correctly as then in finland they changed the miles straight to km and now carvertical says meter has been rolled back

I bought 1) first report they wrote model 3.4 S 315 HP. The car was a 2.7 275 HP. They wrote no accident but the honest owner show me an invoice of over 12.000 Euro of damage paid by ensurance. The worst: they correct info on line but they were not answering!
2) second report no information, no country of origin, just a couple of visit in workshop and that's it! I claim and they told me:" The info were not digitalized". So i didn' t receive them but i have to pay anyway?

What could be better than carvertical?! I am so satisfied with their service - not mentioning the price which is one of the smallest of all these VIN check providers! I have checked my old car which had an accident two years ago and carVertical even showed which part of the car was damaged, including pictures of the accident. Just love it! We have also tried carvertical with our friend, his report was less informative, but had all the mileage data, car equipment information, checked if the car is now stolen - basically accidents free and clear report.

I tried this on my own previous car (changed owner twice) and my current car (same). The reports are empty: no info regarding accidents that actually happened, not even info about cars being sold (despite being on public car dealerships websites), etc.
Just paid 20E for basic model info.

Good evening, there is no extra information, such as pictures of accidents or else. The offer, "we are sorry, we found no exact informations about your car" is very polite, also to offer to check a next car, but this offer matches only if you trade with cars and have a lot off questions. For private...it is not a balance of price and information, it is very expensive. It would be more polite to reduce in general the price level! To force a "not native speaking" person to activate his memories in school English, takes a lot of brain work. It would be more fair to pay back a part of the price than to offer "check another car". So what...I am not a dealer. Sorry...2 points left, because your communication is in fact polite...but this is not the top of level. Best regardsTom
