Insurance is like betting.

I pay each month to be protected. If I make no claim, the insurance company wins. If I make a claim for a substantial amount, I win reimbursement. In either case I don't win!

The gentleman who set up my service was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and kind. I decided I'd sell the car if costly repairs are needed so cancelled the service for that reason alone. Anyone else I spoke to after my initial phone call was knowledgeable and kind as well.

Left front axle

Heard noises when making left turns. Called Car Shield and they located a repair shop where I live, contacted the shop and set up an appointment. The above was identified and part sent and repair done.
I only paid my deductible. Best plan ever for cars. I recommend to all I know.

Car Shield Cared!

Senior Lady became insured with Car Shield after watching Public Commercial Information (FAST forward) ---took the car for a routine tire replacement. I was informed I could not drive the car at ALL because it was presenting with a major safety issue After the shock was over the service mechanic explained he had completed a systems check that identified the car was in need of a new OIL COOLING SYSTEM This critical system would not allow me to drive, OH my oh me my wheels were gone! However the mechanic along with the Service Manager took over right away They contacted Car Shield and immediately processed a line of issues to be covered ie was I in a safe place -did I need a rental or loaner It was a seamless experience bill was totally covered and I had acquired several new friends A win win outcome Congratulation Car Shield

After carefully reviewing your claim, it appears that the issue in question was determined to be a long-term seepage. We also spoke directly with the repair facility, and they confirmed that this same seepage was present during a previous visit on 4/20/24. Because this concern existed prior to the start of your coverage, it is considered a pre-existing condition and is not eligible for coverage under the terms of the contract.

We understand this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, and we know how frustrating unexpected repair costs can be. If you have any additional questions or would like us to go over the details further, please don’t hesitate to give us a call. We’re here to help however we can.
