Take too long to get approval and it's 5 - 6 weeks and still don't have my vehicle as yet
The person I spoke with didn't seem like she was really sure of what she was doing.
Called car shield to find out if my rear passenger door which will not for some unbeknownst reason will not open is covered to get it fixed as this is a safety hazard. Also Sked if my Bluetooth was covered as it won't connect to my phone. The girl I spoke to said to hold on while she checked with her manager. When she returned to the phone she said YES that both were covered and to just tell the service person to call them and they would give their approval. Well that's what I did and low and behold when they were called they said the blue tooth wasn't covered and only one part on the door would be covered. Not happy.
We had Car Shield for 2 1/2 years, paid faithfully each month. We needed to use it for the first time about a month ago to have my car towed to my mechanic as it appeared I had a bad oil leak with puddles of oil standing in our garage floor. But this situation with oil leak got us into investigating where we could have the car worked on if it turned into a serious issue. OUR MECHANIC WE HAVE HAD FOR YEARS SAID HE DID NOT DEAL WITH CS AS THEY WERE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. We went online to look at participating mechanics and places came up like Pep boys, Mr. Tire. Etc. No major car dealerships dealt with CS because they are so hard to get claims paid. I called several major dealerships around here and asked them myself and they said absolutely not did they deal with CS. Well I can tell you that no Pep boys or Mr. Tire is going to work on my car! Also when you initially call CS you are transferred around until you go nuts going thru your story time & time again with everyone. I could get no satisfaction from anyone so we canceled our contract! This is false advertising, you are not what you claim to be!
