Carport

I paid my 10% non refundable deposit on 8/22/2016 based on being told the shed would be set up in 2 to 5 weeks. It is now 10/5/2016 and I have yet to hear from the install scheduling department even after leaving over 20 voicemails with them (they never directly answer a call). Called the sales person Sheila Cecile back and asked to speak to the scheduling manager, she said she would have him call... nothing. Called a week later, asked to speak to company owner, she said would connect me to sales manager, got his voicemail and no callback. In my life I have never had such a total lack of customer service.

Our second cover was delayed once and for that we received a "small" discount. The last third car port we ordered was rescheduled at least three time, to the point my "mother in law" asked my wife "does Pat know how they are treating us"... When the product FINALLY got installed it was very appreciated. But, even when the appointment was made for the fourth time none of us believed it would be installed. Because it barely rained one day shouldn't ever cause a 4 to 5 day delay. This time there was no discount, no "I'm sorry" or anything else...to the point my wife told me "we will never ever order from them again, I don't care if we pay more". Coming from a frugal lady, that speaks a ton...

Your checkout process was filled with problems. I had to try 4 times before I was successful.

In addition, I was not happy with credit cards not being accepted. Several times I wondered if I was dealing with some kind of scam. In this day and age, credit cards, debit cards, or electronic transfer is what's normal for conducting business.

On a good note, your installer did a remarkable job. He was thorough, fast, and pleasant to deal with.

From the time I began looking for metal buildings, I continued to return to the carport.com site due to its ease of navigation. Once that I placed my order I was contacted within 24 hours and a delivery date established, which was little more then a week out. When the crew showed up on the day scheduled, one member came to me and went over the order to include all portions of the the order. The three (3) man crew that was sent here to build the building, a 24x34 fully enclosed, was very professional, very well organized and including the time it took to unload all of the materials, pick up debris when finished and go back over all the work they had done with me, they were here for approximately eight (8) hours. I am extremely pleased with every aspect of this purchase.

The gentlemen that set up were friendly but tore up my yard and left. I have 3 acres of land with a circle gravel driveway surrounding the property, i told them do not drive on the grass and they did anyway and got stuck and tore up my yard. I spent hundreds of dollars fixing my yard and it still is not back the way it was. I sent pictures to the company that sent them out and never heard back. I will never order though this site again.

April 7 Coast to Coast Carport (C2C) e-mailed me receipt – OK but weird, was not aware of this
Mat 28 C2C called to schedule install for June 1 - OK
May 29 C2C called & canceled install for June 1, said they would call for install for the week of June 8 - well OK
NO WORD at all for week of June 8
June 16 C2C called to schedule install for June 23 - OK
June 18 C2C called & canceled install for June 23 due to the fact they did not have enough of the brown metal that I ordered on April 6 – WHAT!
C2C said they will let me know when they have enough Brown metal
STILL WAITING...
July 24 I called C2C & left message, no reply - UGH
June 27 I called C2C & left message, no reply - UGH
July 29 I called C2C & left message, no reply - UGH
July 30 I called Carports.com to cancel & request deposit back.
Their response was let us check into it with C2C. I'll call yo back on July 31 – No call back
Aug 3 I called Carports.com to request refund. Their response was OK but I need your CC information & it will take 3-5 business days to refund.
Aug 24 – NO REFUND or Call back from NO ONE
Aug 24 – fixing to call back Carports.com
Wish I had seen their crappy reviews beforehand!

I received a call earlier in the week that they would like to deliver in the next week or two, then I get a call like 3 days later that they were at my gate! I had to change my plans for the entire day as it was my wife's birthday and everything got turned upside down, if they would have called me to set up a delivery day I would have told them I was not available that day for the install! To make matters worse I had to have my business employees help with the installation as their were only two people putting it together, which is not nearly enough man power and time to put this structure together, also the sun was going down! I had order from you before and had a different company come out and do the installation which were great! Based on this installation process I would be hesitant to order from you again!

The website was easy to use and I was able to design the carport that I wanted. It's exactly what I received as well. But during the install it was found that the size I ordered would not fit without having to modify the carport (cut the roof out around a tree). So I got stuck paying for the last 5 feet that was not installed. They did leave me the material I had paid for, so I intend on finishing it myself. I believe that although it's 'custom' the extra pieces (truss) could have been used on any 20' wide carport and the (legs) on any carport with a height of 10' or shorter. Overall the install was fast and professional.

It's hard to rate the last two, due to the fact I don't know when it will arrive from the date of order to install and what kind of service I get in between and during install? Nobody contacted me prior to it's approval. Installers just showed up. Which was okay for I was home that day. They were very curtious and professional individuals and very organized. In and out in no time. I was very satisfied with my install. Highly recommend these installers to anyone have their carport done. Very satisfied with the metal structure I received and will most likely order a second one in the future.
