Hi Beth, We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

I was nervous about being a member but you made it very easy and calmed my worries. We live in Corolla which is a distance from almost every where. I was surprised to see candidates within a reasonable driving distance. I hope this works out. I decided to do a one month trial subscription.

Being able to post for free and then finding out that I can't see responses until I pay was crappy. The automatic renewal irritated me. The attempt to "upsell" me irritated me too. So far everything about care.com has annoyed me except the three responses to my post. Don't you get this kind of response often?

I have had issues logging in to the Care.com website for the past 18 months. Most recently their website does not recognize my log in. I have asked for a password reset repeatedly and get no response. I have tried emailing them and keep getting those messages bounced back, apparently, they no longer monitor those email addresses. Based upon my experiences with Care I am looking for a new payroll provider. Their attention to customer needs is abysmal.
