Your site was much better two years ago. Seem you are 'double-dipping' pn two ends: providers and those needing care. When a person (needing care) puts out a broadcast message and a potential provider responds--the original broadcaster should be able to respond. Second, your customer service sucks big time. One should have a phone number, not just a email and 'get back to you in one or two days'. Care.com is looking for, and will get, competitors.

Trying to contact care.com as a past premier customer, seems impossible given their customer service changes over the last two years. Used to be able to speak to someone directly, then by text, now only by email. This company is going down the tubes and would not trust them worth a 'sh*it' this past year. Maybe they only communicate through a foreign country, beware, do not give credit cards to these people, try another company local to your area-that goes for providers (losing patients), and possible users of the services as potential clients. Down hill. They are double dealing--both charging providers and clients at the same time. This should be illegal! Was a customer, no more, surely (presumably) are now controlled or owned by a foreign concern--not by clients that need immediate assistance.

Not very user friendly - the website keeps asking me for the same information over and over again but then gives me 1 result for a care center that doesn't even serve children my child's age. It seems odd to put in a birthdate and then be given search results that don't apply. Very frustrated I paid for this and am not able to locate care options.

I logged into your website, set up an account, and paid for a premium membership. You apparently charged my credit card. Then it said it would be smoother to use the app, so I followed the link that didn't work. I went to Google Play and found your app and installed it. When I go to login it says that account is already in use. Sometimes, it says that I'm on a page that is for people finding caregivers, but it won't go anywhere to let me look for caregivers. That's what I want is caregivers.

In spite of sending me multiple messages a month even when I'm not hiring from your site -- and multiple messages per DAY when I need a caregiver -- your system did not recognize my email address as matching up with my Facebook login. I never got an email to reset my pw, and was forced to sign up with a new account even though I've already got a paid membership; I am now twice-paid. This is also annoying because I can't access my old inbox where I had many conversations with local caregivers & double-check that people contacting me this time around were not people who flaked out on me last time.

First of all, you make it look like you can actually do things on the free version, but really you can't. Then, when you subscribe, you have to pay extra for what should be basic items, like seeing who has looked at your job. We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

I signed up for a 3-month subscription but am VERY uncomfortable because there is no place on the website that tells me how I can cancel it. I have purchasing subscriptions that automatically renew for services that I don't need on a daily basis. I will try this service once and am not comfortable being force into a subscription. I woudl prefer a flat fee for a limited time period instead of being forced into paying for something in perpetuity knowing that this isn't health care that I need in perpetuity., I al ready anticipate when it's time to cancel my subscription, it will be a major pain, I'll have been charged a lot of money for services I don't need.

I heard good things about this service, but I don't feel great that I have to pay up front just to read messages. I need one-time care in a hurry to look after our cat when we go on vacation. Answer: Hello, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they are currently investigating Care.com. This is important enough to me that they have scammed me out of 6 months of payments and I had to close my credit card for Fraud. If you have had a bad experience with Care.com, I would encourage you to file a complaint with BBB. If enough people complain, then they will take more serious action. Here is the website. I plan to contact them, as I am verifiably the best care coordinator hands down, extremely good with direct care. Answer: I would be cautious. I hope she is not moving for the job, as that is NOT a good idea. I get text messages daily from people asking me to email them (often for a friend), or someone coming from out of town or whatever. I delete these right away. First of all, they should go through the regular website and email you. No one would hire anyone without first meeting them, checking references, etc. I am sitting at the home of someone I took with through the Care site. I first communicated via email, then set up a face to face and met the kids. If it seems too good to be true, it is. USE COMMON SENSE! Seriously, if you don't have common sense you really shouldn't be taking care of kids, pets or anyone else!

Answer: Care.com is set up for parents that pay for the service... Parents can enroll for free and place and add. However, If they do not forward their credit card any messages from caregivers will have a blocked phone number. The babysitter cam also enroll for free and make a profile for her services. However if she does nor forward her credit card she can only apply to 8 jobs every 28 days and only the ads from parents that have paid for an account will be able to contact her. DO NOT respond to anyone contacting you on your phone that did not contact through Care.com first... This is always a scam... The message will look like this: I am moving to your area soon and need car for my son/daughter. Kindly respond to my email.(They are looking to scam you for money.)

They make up rules as they decide not how things are written and do not follow their own privacy policy. They feed on single moms and dads. As well as children providing for aging parents You can place an add on Craigslist as well, for free and your prospective employee provides their own background check as it can be a most recent one and obtained by themselves at 5 to 10 dollars
