Rip Off
April 1, 2019

They stole $88 from me. I sent my gift cards 12/2018 and it still says in review 3/1/19. They never answer emails or phone calls. They don't send the cards back either. They just steal your gift cards. It is incredible that nothing is done to this kind of company that rip off their customers.

Useless.
January 12, 2018

My legit gift card was accepted for sale on 1/9. I received a confirmation, but heard nothing for the next two business days. So I emailed customer service. They sent me a form letter, but never got back. Three days later I checked their site and saw that my order was still in progress. Emailed them again, no response. I checked my gift card balance and saw that it was still full, so I completely cancelled my order with cardpool and went through another service. I can't imagine how they're in business with practices like these. Complete waste of time.

I ordered a $25 electronic gift card, it was sent immediately. I then ordered a $100 one tot the same place. I guess they were suspicious so they called me to verify my address, the closest cross street, and such and then they sent me an email about the conversation and that they would process the order. I still haven't received it and it's been 8 hours after the phone conversation and email. Even though I can see my credit card has already been charged. Use them for small amounts only nothing more than $25.00. And it looks like buying more than one card at a time makes them nervous.

I sold a $100 gift card for bone fish grill. I figured they where credible, after all they do have thousands of machines around the nation. Yes... I was wrong. I have an email from when I sold them the gift card giving me a transaction #. Never received my 75$ check I was promised. Should of looked at there reviews first. Cardpool needs to pay for this. How are they getting away with this.

I was trying to sell a card online, as this card required shipping there was an issue, as I had two such cards and didn't know which was being sold. After a month of waiting they finally got back to me to tell me the transaction had been cancelled by me. It had not, I cancelled the second listing after waiting weeks for support.

If you choose to sell with them, just assume that you are on your own as they are useless. If selling multiple cards write down which number goes with which order when you list it, or else you will never know.

These folks are a mess. I bought cards for Home Depot from them and they they didn't give me advertised discount, sent the wrong cards and we're practically impossible to contact to rectify their mistakes. The only people that you can talk to can only send emails to the "boss". They are not allowed to call on phone (nor is customer allowed). Customer "service" should be re named "I could care less and I can prove it"

This company use to be really reliable but they have done a compete 180 turn and are now miserable to deal with.

They dont reply to email or calls for weeks at a time, wont update and orders, no customer service. If they ever pay out it will be the incorrect amount and then wont reply to and contact for another month or so while you try to correct the situation.

DO NOT sell your giftcard here or buy a giftcard. It will be a complete waste of time and effort.

DO NOT USE THEM!
April 19, 2019

I used cardpool about a year ago with no problem. So when I had another gift card I had no use for, I thought it would be safe to sell it to Cardpool again. WRONG! They took my gift card and although I did initially get a confirmation email, they never mailed my payment. I've tried reaching them by email and phone. Their email kicks out an automated message saying they will respond in the order they received your email. I've waited several weeks and not heard back. I was only able to leave a message by phone and didn't receive a response back from that either. I will NEVER use this company again.

Cardpool claims a 1 year guarantee, but defrauded me out of $700 within 1 hour of buying iTunes giftcards. No call; no nothing. Clearly a case of internal theft. I'll whip them in 2 minutes in small claims court, which they are used to, but what an awful way to treat a good customer. Avoid Cardpool at all costs!

Trying to sell my Bloomingdale's gift card $195 get an offer check about $160. This company is big B.$hit company. Waiting for week, company representative( Lori) called me back, asking me "where I got the gift card from, how long I had it, etc"... At the end, because of the value they can't buy it( come on, a company afraid of risk of $200 gift card). I even offer ship the actual card and the receipt of the gift card to them with certify mail. Still won't buy it. Just another Big Bu$$hit company, don't have money, and hope to land big in public stock etc… Don't deal with them, just wasting your time. Wait! 8 days later my gift card from $195 to $103, I called Bloomingdale's to ask why. They said someone used the gift card online purchase in San Jose, CA

Bought a Home Depot E-Card - came 2 days later. Not a big deal but they do say it will be 1 business day. I received a call from them prior to getting my card in an email that really made me a little uncomfortable. They were calling to verify the purchase - they asked me the address used to purchase, what the 1-800 number was on the back of my card that was used and a major crossroad near my address. If I had committed fraud that is all information that I could of obtained - I didn't see the point of them asking any of that. The rep who I was speaking to was not very friendly but that's not really the point I guess - I'll just leave the review with everything worked out fine but It definitely made me uneasy.

First transaction with them, the only good thing about them is the processing time is ok, after two business day after the cards were delivered I received a phone call regarding where and how I got the cards I was trying to sell. After another two days, they cancelled the whole transaction with no explanation and due to the lack of direct customer service number, you have to wait almost 24 hrs for each email reply. And don't bother calling their bulk sale number, they will not help you. And at the end, all they give you is "we can not disclose how the decision was made." This must be a joke, I was the original purchaser with receipts in hand from the physical store themselves to prove it. Overall, a huge disappointment.

I have dealt with Cardpool many times over a period of 2-3 years and had been very satisfied. However, I bought a Chili's card about 3 months ago for $50, and there was ZERO balance on it. I contacted the company immediately -- and then again, and again, and again, and again, and again -- but they have yet to do anything about it. No one returns my phone calls or emails. Up to this point, I was a loyal customer. However, it appears I've now lost my $50 and there's nowhere I can go to get it back. This is a game changer. Warning!

Very disappointed experience! I have been waiting for more than 24 hours and still have not received the gift cards. I was planning to purchase tickets for Saturday shows. But time has past, all the seat were filled. My friends and I need to purchase regular price tickets at another theater instead. What a waste of time!

Bought a gift card and it did not work. I started sending emails the middle of January and no one has gotten back to me. No phone number and no response from them. I follow up every week. This company is just the worst.

Thieves
January 27, 2020

If I could give zero or negative Stars, I would. After using them twice back in 2017, I thought they were trustworthy. Since then I have tried on three separate occasions to sell them three separate cards that I now suddenly have a zero balance on, but have never gotten paid for. I realized there was an issue once I kept receiving a message back stating that I could not use a prepaid debit card. That was when I tried to use my PayPal Business or Chime card. Ok. Fair enough. So, if that's your policy then so be it. The order/request should never have been processed. Now, what I would like to know, is... why all of a sudden do I need to be verified again, charging my account $1 simply to verify my identity even though I've already sold 2 prior gift cards and have an account? And two... where did the money of the gift card go and where is MY money?

Scam
May 24, 2017

This website does not even have a phone number in 2017 but has tens of thousands of dollars worth of gift cards for sale. Enough said. But what there's more, you will never receive your online gift codes upon purchase. Instead you will receive an email saying your identity needs to be confirmed and you have to send emails back and forth because they have no phone number. Use "Raise.com" or ""Cardcash.com" for fast and safe transactions. Run from this website and run fast

Scam... scam... scam... be aware... Promised delivery within 3-7 business day, after more than 3 weeks, cards never arrived, never refunded.
On Jul 1st, 2015 paid $ 68.04 for cards, waited more than 3 weeks, never received them. Never get any refund. Emails 4 times, only to say wait. Finally get my credit card involved for help. Stay away from this company.

I am amazed by negative reviews. I have done about 10 transactions with them, buying about $500 in cards each time. I have had zero problems. This took place during the second half of 2013 and all of 2014. I've saved money at several stores with this.

I did try purchasing gift card from cardpool (https://cardpool.com)but unfortunately I had to wait 1 whole day to learn that my order was not processed.
When I asked them the reason why my order was not processed this is the response that I got:

""Edward, our risk department does not disclose their reasons for security purposes. Thank you. ""

My response was:"well, I don't know what the problem is, but I am writing in regard to fix it. I am trying to buy gift cards with my credit card and that's all."

However, unfortunately no reply.

Help your self and don't was your time on this website like I did. Their customer support is hopeless and their website doesn't work. I am starting to think that all process is just to steal your credit card information
