I was told they would buy my camper for $18,300 at Sioux Falls, after I get it there they nit picked it a part telling me there is water damage and a piece of trim was broke. Well here is the trim that was broke because they broke it in a before and after pic when I just had it up for sale right before I took it to them. They then tried to offer me $1,500 less. If you ever have an appraisal done make sure you stay with your camper.
Do not trust this dealership if you selling a pre-owned trailer. They lowered the price offered by 25% after inspection while the required repairs / replacements should have resulted in only a 10% reduction (based on retail costs from Camping World website and reputable tire company). Did not offer itemized costs to justify reduction. Clearly bait and switch strategy. I have never been treated so unfairly - and they definitely did not care!
Camping World sucks. I have had nothing but problems since the day my rv was delivered. Shower door is not functioning properly. Water leak in spare bathroom, trim and molding falling off, coming undone. The head of the service department does NOT return my phone calls. You would be better off buying a car and staying in a hotel.
I guess my review isn't really any different than everyone else. If you call they just leave you on hold and if you go to the store in Concord, NC they either don't know anything about their products or literally just ignore you. This is just one of those business that make money by location because if it was by customer service they would be broke by now.
We purchased a brand new unit and within the first year had more headaches than joy from our purchase. Kelly (aka store manager) is a joke to deal with. Says he agrees with our dissatisfaction and thinks we should pursue taking it to a corporate level and that was a joke. We have had a nightmare of an experience. We will never purchase from camping world again
First, You can only believe some of what the salesman says.
Like, the camper will be cleaned and detailed.
That it will be all checked out before I take it off the lot.
If anything is wrong it will be fixed in a Timely manner.
I'm making my second payment and my oil light keeps coming on. I was promise this would be fixed.
I have had trouble getting the title in my name. Still Not, Hope that will happen today or tomorrow.
The AC/Heater vents have something blowing out of it.
Its starting to be more like work.

Buying from a store has been an accpetable experience. Not great, but acceptable.
Buying online and getting online help frankly just stinks. Apparently their "agent" is computer AI which leaves out the "I" in AI.
Repeatedly I have asked about products, or asked for technical support for products already purchased and get nothing.
Please run- Please buy elsewhere- Do not go through what I have gone through- Worst Place ever. Service has been working on a brand new unit for 3 months. No one returns calls, noone will come to the phone and when I ask for a manger I am advised there is no one running the Ft. Pierce location. How is this even possible.
The service is horrible. Never believe what line they push on you about there service. Second NEVER buy extended warranty. That is a scam, take that money they would charge and put it is an account for problems in the future. Trust me READ the fine print
Have a friend who was employed there at Myrtle Beach South Carolina. They were sent out of state to pick up an RV and was told by the General Manager and Sales Manager he would be paid 1000.00 for the trip plus travel expense. The friend drove back over 12 hours after flying there. They still haven't paid him and now only paying him 8 hours at 15.00 per hour for that long trip. A manager is only as good as their word and if he would do that to an employee what will he do to customers. Terrible company to work for and makes false promises. I would never deal with a company like that. If you are thinking of working there…I wouldn't!
The horrible score in service is with corp delaying and unethical practices not service staff. Example: Stalling for warranty work. Always need more pictures (taken by employees to start with) for approval. Forest River is aware of their poor practices and reviewing. Fingers crossed they reap what they sow at some point
The follow up and service on my camper has been a complete farce! I had the unit repaired but they did not complete the repairs just sent it back out. Then no one returns phone calls for weeks just to tell you nope your are out of warranty so come pick it up. When you have to send family out to check on the unit before anyone will call you and I asked these are repairs that were not completed before. We are going to cover that. Don't buy from Camping World there are many other reputable organizations. So Save your money and your time.
Camping World fly's the largest, most beautiful, exotic flag, but going by there today, the 4th of July, every part of their operation, store, service, sales were all open, not giving their employees the day off. What greedy hypocrites.
Sales person didn't know his product, the financial guy run my credit at several different financial establishments I have a 860 score you don't have to do that also the financial guy skipped over me making me late for a appointment now 2 months later I still don't have promised parts
And they ain't even on order! License plates haven't been applied for.

I bought Thomas pane theater seating it makes a lot real loud noise when reclining and setting backup. Sent email no response called number for ceo the woman that answered told I would have to call manufacturer. I told her I bought this from camping world and spent 1700. 00 and they should stand behind there product she told me again to call manufacturer. I will never another item for camping world again all they do is rip you off.
Purchased a travel trailer in mid August. Had a small accident, took back the very next day for estimate to repair. Man that did the estimates was on vacation for 1 week. Come on, only one person doing estimates. We have had nothing but the run around from the service department. Now 9 weeks later we still do not have our trailer. Very frustrated with the service and will never recommend anyone buying from CampingWorld
I bought a camper from Camping World and they said they would provide warranty service and promised the "world". They delivered nothing. For service you go in a list for next month, the one time I took it in, they kept it 5 weeks and it looked awful when I finally got it back. Sold it and bought from a small dealer who backed their products. Ordered merchandise online, got one item in a week or so. Three weeks later the second item hasn't shipped, need both to use. Tried calling for several days giving up after 40 minutes each time to save battery. Sent two emails, no response after a week, tried chatting and after 30 minutes still no "agent". I suspect they may be going out of business... NEVER AGAIN! Amazon isn't great, except compared to Camping world. (The item I received works, so gave 2 stars for that.)
Our camper has been at Camping World for 4 weeks. Nothing has been fixed despite the fact we had an appointment for repairs.
Communication has been poor to non existent. When management was contacted, they acted very indifferent to our problem.
If you buy from them good luck. And repairs there will be difficult to obtain. Beyond disappointed!

Bought a new motor home December 2022 and as of this date August 2023 we haven't been able to use it. It has been in the shop most of the time. We have a lemon law lawyer handing our case. Warning-buyer beware. Please check the reviews before buying! You will be glad you did.
Answer: Honestly, the more I look to find answers on Camping world, the more negative reviews I see, had an RV dropped off a Forklift while I was signing papers! Try to beat that! New RV and dropped off a forklift. Worse yet, the corporate managers DID NOT WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, that folks is the legit truth! It's one thing for accidents to happen, it's another to not make things right, bad management!
