Excellent customer service. Placed an order for wine charms and one was all scratched up. You couldn't read the top half of the charm. Lisa in customer service was great! Resolved the issue quickly.
This company is such a scam. They sell the merchandise you design behind your back.
I'm a designer and used them to sell my designs on tees and other merchandise. After several years of using them, I closed my account because i was getting just 10% or less on my merchandise. A couple of years later i noticed that my designs were still coming up on google searches and that my store was still open! And selling! So i searched and searched again to close my store and thought i did. But then again my merchandise was still showing up. The reports showed they sold over $2000 worth of my merchandise but i wasn't getting any money. So i went back (customer services is a nightmare) to try to get my money but i also didn't want them selling my merchandise. After i was able to contact someone, and getting the run around in the process, I decided to make another attempt at closing my store. Boy was that a mistake! Now they tell me that since closed my account i forfeited any money coming to me. After much back and forth they agreed to forward my money to me after of course keeping a small amount for some administrative issue. Two months later i received $13.91. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES!
I ordered 7 shirts from this company and paid $142. I placed my order on 12/10 and was promised to receive the order between 12/17-12/20 plenty of time for Christmas. When my order came I was so disappointed. I only received 2 shirts correctly. 3 came BLANK and 2 did not come at all. I used this company in the past and was happy. NOT this time! The only thing worse than my incomplete order was the customer service I received after. I called and used their automated response to request a call back 4 times and only received a call back once. I sent multiple emails and they would respond by telling me my order was delivered. When I finally did speak with someone they told me they could refund me for the order I didn't receive or reprocess my order free of charge. FREE of CHARGE? I already paid he acted like he was doing me this big favor by resending the order I never received! When I said I wanted a full refund and I would return the shirts he said I would have to pay for shipping and handling. And then the phone disconnected. SO I know have to waste more of my time calling back to get a refund! Ridiculous!
I spent two hours pulling together art work and learning how their online configurator worked so I could put some art work on a stainless steel travel mug and the next day that sent me an e-mail stating they could not do the mug because I used a picture of a car (a picture of my son's personal car that was going down the road and obviously not a manufacturers picture because the car was modified) and that is proprietary as it belongs to the manufacturer of the car. This was one travel mug for personal use by the car owner. Anyone in there right mind would know that his is OK to do. Another thing the did, and they stated in the e-mail that the did it, is that they locked up my art work so I could not have access to it... so now I have to start all over somewhere else. They have no business locking up MY WORK... what a bunch of jerks! If they are going to be super zealous then they should list all the things they are SCARED to do before you even start and I emphasize SCARED as opposed to realistically being illegal. These people owe me for 2 hours of my life back!
Although delivery was very timely and I had my order in plenty of time for my husbands birthday - I ordered three t's with imprints. They are by far the worst quality I have seen next to the buy 3 for $10 style in the cheap souvenir shops. The print is not centered on one shirt and feathered on the other. The thickness and quality of the shirt is terrible... cheap cheap cheap. I have tried contacting them and all I can get is a auto email response. I am terribly disappointed for what I paid!
As of today (1/8/2014) I need to put my review on hold and update at a later date. I have finally received a response from Café Press and they are sending replacements at no cost. They apologized and said they didn't want the others back and would be sending new ones, which I should receive no later that the 20th of this month. Update to come.
I have updated Café Press's status to a four star. I am very impressed with how they came through and sent new shirts. They replaced all three of them and they are all of great quality and look fantastic. 1/23/2014
Cafepress is not doing its homework when it comes to military items. Example their shirts and hats show the USS Forrest Royal with ribbons, National Defense, Vietnam Service and Vietnam Campaign. The Forrest Royal was not awarded while in Vietnam the Vietnam Campaign as per Opnav 1650, while there the ship was awarded CR, MU, VS and RG.
Terrible shipping practices! I think they sent it by the slowest carrier they could find. My order was fine but geezzzz. I think carrier pigeon would have been faster.
I already complained once about the service of cafepress, and no one took it to heart. About a week ago I tried to buy items on line. It was IMPOSSIBLE to buy on line. When asked my opinion of my recent experience, I sent a reply to them and their survey service about this experience. The following is what I wrote and the reply I received. To the idiot who wrote this... the order was placed by phone AFTER 40 minutes of not being able to purchase on line. It was IMPOSSIBLE to do this on line. Further, with this reply, I am now putting a hold on the credit card for these items as I intend to return them and discontinue all business with this subpar company.
I had a certificate for $50. It was purchased when there was a promotion to pay $25 for a $50 certificate. When you look at the email, in BRIGHT red letters, it said that I had until January 1st, 2015 11:59pm pst to use the certificate for the full amount. On January 1st, I was putting in my order around 10pm cst. When I entered the voucher code, the voucher was only for $25. I went back to the email and way down at the bottom in fine print it said that you had to use the certificate by December 31st, 2014 11:59pm pst. I have used your website a handful of times so I figured customer service would make this right. I emailed Support with attachments of my email and the order I was going to place before the January 1st deadline. The first response I received made it seem like I would get the full value of the voucher and even the second and third response, but instead of doing that, I was given a code for 50% off. I responded back that I should get the full value of my voucher but I was told that there were no codes available to do that? On top of that, the code I was given for 50% said it was already used! I am extremely disappointed and plan on writing other reviews to further discourage customers from using your site.
I placed 2 orders with this company. These 2 orders where sent in 5 separate packages. One of which, after almost 3 months I never got and another which was the completely wrong item. I ordered two blood splatter duvet covers with just blood on them and I got one with huge writing in it which doesn't suit at all the purpose for it. The other one I never got. I sent them a few emails after 2 months of not receiving my items with no response at all. The only response I got was after putting a claim via Paypal and my bank institution. They assured the items were sent but can't provide proof of delivery, they don't even acknowledge sending the wrong item and refuse any kind of refund. I offered photos of the wrong items and no response again. The total of both Duvet covers were $500. FIVE HUNDRED dollars I can't afford to lose. Beware of Cafépress, they are the worst company I've ever dealt with and they are not willing to do the right things for their costumers. I'll surely never deal with them again and I encourage you to do the same
My order was placed and delivered with effeciency and apparant care. I have ordered several items from Cafepress and I recommend them to all who ask for suggestions.
We needed some help with a shirt we needed to return and switch with another shirt. The help was famtastic! I will only order from them now knowing they will take care of me.
I ordered a product on the 4th of September, and did so because it was to be delivered between the 12th and the 16th of September. As the product did not not arrive by the 17th of September I sent Cafe Press and email and was told that the product had been shipped and to "check my front door". This company is extremely un- professional and the fact that items sent can, t be tracked seems almost un-ethical.
The product was a Present for birthday now long passed, its now the 22nd of September and still waiting.

My experience with CafePress has been excellent, it's my favourite place to do some online Shopping and even grab some presents for friends and family!
I would not give this site even one star. They have a section for shopping and a section where you can create your designs so you can sell them on the site. You get your own site like wwwcafepress.com/kosmic_kandies or something as an example, where the only way people can see it is if you tell them yourself in person, call or text you friends and family. Otherwise its an abandon site on the internet and it doesn't even show it on their main site at all even if you search it in the search engine. It is COMPLETELY AWFUL! You end up investing probably weeks on the site for something that show only take an hour or two to edit. The editing sections on the site are so out dated it was as if you where using something from the early 90's. With that may I remind you computers change every few months so you do the math on that. Then you upload your art your pictures and are suppose to get a percentage cut they tell you. Well not really the only way you can make money is if you mark up the price. Which how you do that is hidden on the site. You have go through four different pages, find out you have to click the person image in the right hand corner click on it click shops click custom the click edit and mark it up that way. But when you sign up it automatically says its suppose to be marked up. So it sounds like they want people to work their butts off making designs for them so they themselves can take these good hard working people's money and profits from them leaving them with nothing. Too bad you have to give them at least one star I would give them nothing if I could.

Ordered two hats trough radio armatures of Canada at fifteen dollars each, total plus freight 62.00 to send them across 4 provinces. And they are dollar store quality. Never buy there again.
Found this site stole my password and information from the dark web. I'm furious. I never used this company before.
I just had one of those "third time is the charm" experiences with a scarf (product ID *******552). The image was misprinted, because of folds in the fabric. CafePress (being Cafe Press) replaced it. The second one ALSO had the same issue, and in addition, it was printed on the back of the fabric! In replacing the scarf for the third time, CafePress finally "escalated" the issue, which I extrapolate means that they actually addressed the issue with the producer of the scarf. So, it took a while, but they got it right. While it would be better to make sure people who produce items actually have a clue (like folds will cause a misprint of a design, and fabric can have a front and a back that matter), regardless, CafePress ALWAYS makes it right. However, I think that on issues such as this, where the item was misprinted due to improper technique, escalation should occur the FIRST time. The fact that CafePress will keep on sending a new one (and NEVER ask me to spend money returning the defective one) keeps the experience positive.
Answer: I believe the company did a great job on growth and promoting the "little guy" and November 2013 they changed policies, changed production, changed items and product quality and reduced shop owners commissions on their way to becoming greedy. They made the company a public traded entity on the stock market and was out for themselves. They got rich, the stocks fell, the products became of poor quality, and August of 2014 the president, CEO bailed out and left. To regroup they have tried to add companies like Marvel Comics, Snoopy and other big names to keep the losses from poring in, instead of supervising quality and buying a better quality product.
