I received a beat up modem. Really bad shape. They advertise used modems at a discounted price but BEWARE! They sell used modems that arrive with the previous owner's information still saved in it. I returned the modem and they never issued a credit.

I bought the model that matched the modem I was leasing from Xfinity so that I knew it would work. I made the mistake of not throughly reading the instructions that were sent and not being properly helped by Xfinity when I called them. I finally was able to get ahold of someone knowledgeable at Xfinity and we were able to connect it just fine. So glad I bought my own modem to save money. It was a slight hassle but very much worth it. Thanks guys!
Bought a modem. After 3 tries with my internet provider I finally got it to work. Thought at first it was wrong modem I received, but it was inept customer service from optimum. Finally works.

Excellent price and quick delivery. Unfortunately only the internet was compatible with WOWWAY but not the land line telephone, so I had to return it. Good return policy. Now I'm waiting for the refund.
Placed order on the 23rd and paid 9.99 for expedited shipping, supposed to be 1-4 days. It is now the 30th and still no modem, can't even get tracking on it!

Tried the 1670, but this 1672G is much better and does a great job. Motorola Arris Modem / Router are top quality.
I ordered a modem for my DSL home network. The product I purchased was: Actiontec GT784WN DSL Modem/Wireless Router - 300 Mbps (TDS, Windstream, CenturyLink, Other DSL providers approved) for the amount of $109.94. When I received the modem it was in a used beat up box with a photocopy of instructions to follow using NETSCAPE (which does not exist any longer). I was able to connect the modem myself with no issues and was able to get online for a full day. After that, the modem would not work and would go on and offline. I reached out to the company via email (they have no phone number or contact information listed other than email) and the person (gave no name) that I purchased the wrong modem. Which is not true. The modem I received was from the 2000's and was very old and antiquated. The person told me to send back the modem and they will test it. I still have not received my refund. When I inquired about my refund they immediately refunded me $74.94 and told me it takes 30 days to refund (which was well over the 30 day mark). When I asked why I was not refunded the full amount they said that it is because I purchased the wrong modem. Which again, is not true. They tell you to read the terms before purchasing the product and it does indicate that a full refund will not be granted if you purchased the wrong modem. I've read other reviews online and the same experience has happened to them. They profit off of selling antiquated, broken equipment to consumers and keep 30% of the sale when the product is sent back. This business is practicing a bait/switch technique and stealing money from consumers. Please look into this company and read reviews online. Yes, there are very good reviews online but my gut tells me they are fake. This company is definitely working a scam. The person at the company is dismissive and accusatory. Reported to the FTC, BBB, and AG. And as a small business owner - my lawyer agreed to look into this company's malpractice. Although doubtful anything will come out of it at least I can report them here and other sites. Buyer Beware.
All I had to do was unhook the old Fios rented modem and hook up the new modem from Dontleaseyourmodem.com. It works great. I only had to call Fios to get a return kit for the rental. I've told my friends at work about this great deal.
We're very happy with don't lease your modem. Despite both comcast and Verizon telling us we need to buy modems through them, both modems I've bought from this website have worked with no problems. During this quarantine, having a good router is like having everything in your home. Its almost 1 month that I am using Netgear N750, which is reliable, fast and the most important thing is its 802.11n Dual BandPremium Edition which gives you an amazing experience of wireless network from every corner of your home.
I bought a router from this company. What arrived was a beat-up router (I'm not kidding, what did they do, throw it against the wall repeatedly?) with no instructions, no literature from the company, in an old box. I contacted them via email telling them I was sent the wrong product and asking for them to ship the new one I ordered. They told me, "... you knew you were buying a refurbished..." After three back and forth emails, I decided to call it a learning experience. They are the nastiest customer service I have ever experienced. They're not a respectable business and that's why I'm leaving this review. I'm out the money I sent them because they refused to send me a new modem. They operate the websites dontleaseyourmodem.com and buyyourownmodem.com. They probably have other domains they open up because of the terrible reviews. Within 30 minutes of posting this review, I got an email (they said it was from their "legal department"); clearly they're using intimidation to try to get people not to leave reviews.
We got our modem and couldn't believe how easy it was to hook up and the resolution on all of our devices including our TV increased dramatically! It was packaged well and came in a very reasonable time!
I purchased the ARRIS TM1602A DOCSIS 3 TELEPHONEY (EMTA) MODEM (Optimum/Cablevision, WOW + more) device to replace the leased device from Optimum, which they were charging $10 a month for the privilege of using. The product they sent was identical to the one Optimum provided and will allow me to return it to remove the superfluous charge from my billing. Highly recommended for anyone similarly being asked to pay an additional fee on top of expensive service.
I got my UBEE U10C035 DOCSIS 3 MODEM + NETGEAR WNR1000 WIRELESS ROUTER PACKAGE. Its a combo package that I order and got the product as like as they showing in their website. They delivered it within 5 days and also helped me over the phone how to install those. A geart service with great product. Now, I can do my work from any corner of my house.
I bought Windstream T3200 Bonded VDSL2 Wireless AC Gateway Router. I am amazingly content with nature of this thing. The signs are especially speedy. I am especially content with the free and speedy movement organizations.
Centurylink installed my DSL using my C1900A without a hitch. So far my connection is much more reliable than my Cable internet was. I have ot had to reboot my DSL to get Netflex to stream flawlessly. There a lot of configurations options for the C1900A that I have not yet addressed. Customer ordered an item from us and confirmed that he didn't perform the due diligence in reading the items description page BEFORE purchase as we provided the items condition, a specific definition of the items conditiion, and specifically list each and every accessory that would be included as buyer just ASSUMED based on price what condition might be but upon doing actual research you will find it is priced at a significant discount compared to a new item online. Please Please Please just read what you are buying as this certainly was a waste of time and money for both parties for what is an easily preventable issue of read before you buy. We have over 99.6% on Amazon and Ebay as a TOP RATED SELLER and have over 3000 POSITIVE REVIEWS on our website so if providing a 1 year warranty for our customers so for those who are able to read the items description page and purchase the right model for their provider they don't have any issues, unfortunately this was not the case in this transaction.
