While trying to purchase car seats for over an hour, noone seemed interested in helping in the store. Knew exactly what was wanted, even had carts loaded. Recommend store in Mooresville, NC figure out training their staff. Good items in store, but frustrating to wait so long.
Ordered baby bed in August, as of Oct 15 no bed. Said it would be delivered no later than Sept. 4. Constantly told they will call back but they never call back. Say the bed is being delivered but can't tell me when. Paid $800 for this bed and nothing. Paid $100 for "white glove delivery", what a joke. They must be going bankrupt, got the money but not giving me the bed. You do not want to buy anything from these incompetents.
Once I started shopping at Buy Buy Baby I never went back to any other baby store. They have everything you need and is always offering ways for you to save money (i. E. 20% off) which is wonderful especially since you buy often and in bulk for baby essentials. Their return policy is 365 days from the purchase date, and they can look up your credit card and will give you your cash back. I have no complaints about this company or how they train their employees. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. They have made a customer for life!
It is a joke that in this day and age you cannot look up returned items purchased by a credit or debit card and you have to deduct 20% of the price accordingly for an exchange. I believe that is an unfair policy to waste peoples hard earned money just because they have misplaced the receipt! Especially items purchased 2 weeks prior in the same selling condition. Shame!
The item ordered from Buybuybaby had a hot pink Ink security tag still attached when it arrived. After 45 minutes on the phone with customer service the best they could offer per company policy' was take it to a Bed Bath and Beyond store to see' if they could remove it or take it to Fedex to return it.
Both options are inconvenient and not customer friendly. A reputable company would've had a better solution and been more considerate of the mothers who support them.
Also in writing the review they ask for photos of the product yet the site doesn't allow for it.
I received my original order quickly but one of the two items was broken and obviously played with. Tried to do a replacement online. What a joke! It took awhile to realize they had my order under gifts, which is wasn't and then it wanted to only give a gift card in the amount of the product but would have to have paid for shipping. I called customer service, definite language barrier, was on the phone for 30 minutes only to realize a week later that a replacement wasn't coming. Had to go through the process again, sent the broken toy back and it took another 10 days to finally get the replacement which wasn't broken this time but Definitely used!
Their customer service is awful, you'll be lucky if they don't completely ignore you. Half of the items in my order were missing and they just instructed me to contact the carrier when obviously it was their fault. Still trying to get my money back and items were for a shower... Don't waste your time.
Shoes looked nothing like the advertisement. Cheap, made of foam and cardboard. Wanted to return for refund. Company told me they will not take a return because I would have to pay for the shipping and it costs more to ship than the item I purchased is worth. I am still going to return but they haven't given me an address. Terrible company, terrible customer service. Took forever to even receive the item. Don't purchase from this company!
I bought my son and his wife nursery furniture as a gift. One piece arrived - still awaiting the others. The item that arrived is a night stand and should have been a changing topper for the dresser. When calling to get it correct, customer service informed me they WILL NOT correct it with me. They said HE must call. I ordered it, I paid for it with MY credit card, but they cannot speak to me about getting the order correct. UNBELIEVABLE. I guess the buyer has zero rights with this company. I will not be shopping at any of the BuyBuy Baby stores nor online again. This is very disappointing as I have two grandchildren on the way. Amazon has never given me any issues like this. I really hope that when the large furniture arrives, that it is correct and what I ordered and already paid for.

Got a crib ordered for us off our registry. It came with a huge hole in the headboard. Called for a replacement headboard which took over a month to come! Just to open the box and the new headboard is damaged as well. Its now been over two months my baby is due and I still don't have a good headboard for the crib. Customer service is a joke. They want me to mail my crib back before they will send me a refund so I can just go buy one at the store. Why to make an expecting mother feel at ease
We received a duplicate item from our baby registry from Buy Buy Baby and we don't have the receipt so now we had to ask for the receipt from the purchaser (which is a bit awkward) or lose 20% towards our Merchandise credit when we return the item. Shameful. We won't be buying anything from Buy Buy Baby in the future or their parent company Bed, Bath and Beyond for ourselves nor for our friends who are having children. Plenty of other reputable merchandisers/vendors who make registry returns hassle free. Hope their penny pinching policy was worth losing potential lifelong customers over.
Stay far away from this company. We paid hundreds of dollars for baby furniture that arrived damaged. Impossible to get anyone on the phone. When we finally did, they told us they would send our info to the manufacturer who would get back to us in 24-48 hours. Of course, no one ever did. This company is a joke and for a company that deals with pregnant couples, should be ashamed of themselves.
Ordered a car seat paid for item $158.00 in full! Within 25 minutes of placing the order I get an email saying my order is back ordered and canceled because they don't have it in stock and is not available! Yet 5 days since transaction was processed and they didn't reverse the funds back into my account instead let the funds clear and took my money now I have to wait for the company to send the money back into my account which I'm being told could take two weeks! Never ever again will I do business with this company! My nerves have been shot since I decided to do business with them! Completely aggravated! Save yourself the trouble go with amazon or a major company that is well known and won't play with your hard earned money because this company will! Very very unprofessional!

We only ordered this dresser because it matched the crib. It took forever to get in. When it arrived it was cracked and damaged. The customer service department was a nightmare to deal with. We finally were able to return it. A replacement was delivered about a month later. The replacement is worse than the first. The box was completely damaged. The dresser has a terrible paint job. We removed the drawers to find more cracks and damage. There was visible damage all over it. The customer service department again was a nightmare and did not offer any reasonable solution and now the dresser is back to being out of stock. We have to find a way to fix all of the damage and try and match the paint (which seems difficult because of the color). I have moved my registry to another site because of the rude customer service department. Save yourself time and money and use a different company. Very disappointed.
I went to deactivate and they kept me on hold for over 40 minutes both phone and message chat- and when I emailed them to ask for more assistance they responded they're not checking emails right now. I do not like it when sites won't allow users to delete their own profiles! If I was able to delete it myself, I would've had no need for customer service.
Buy buy baby sent me someone else's order. Upon calling and letting them know that I needed my actual order expedited, they said that they would do so and get it to me before baby shower I was having, which was a week away. It has now been a week and the package is still in New Mexico. The shower is in two days. Very unhappy with this service. They're a joke.
Ordered items on March 15,2021. Items are for a virtual baby shower on March 27. Received email conformation of order saying delivery date was March 19. Next day I received another email says revised delivery for March 20. Initiated online chat at Buybuy baby web site. Was told to be rest assured it would be delivered on or before March 26. All tracking info says delivery date will be March 30. I called and spoke with someone today March 22 and was told item delivery date is March 30. There is nothing they can do about it. Now I won't have the items for the baby shower. When I placed the order, there were no warnings of possible delivery delays. Very unprofessional and frustrating. Will never order from the company again
We have been having an awful time with our registry. We had only one item bought off our registry and it looked like at least four things were bought in the thank yous. We found out that that no one had bought anything and what we needed was removed because it said it was bought. It was brought to our attention right before giving birth and we never had a shower. Family asked us if we have a registry and to make one and now we didn't have any sort of celebration and we're rushing around trying to get ready for the baby who had nothing and now we're weeks away. The customer service also never corrected the errors. They didn't even speak English and answered with ohhh huh and didn't understand what I said. I called a handful of times and no help. In fact they were impossible to hear like they were on the other side of the planet far. This was a huge mistake!
Three of the four products delivered were not only moldy, but also damaged. Their customer service department takes hours to answer phones and then does not follow through with their promises. Avoid this company. They are the worst on line store I have ever encountered.
Ordered two paddleboards. Never arrived. Emails returned undelivered. No one answers the phones. It's a scam. They took our money. We had to have charges disputed. Do not use them. They advertise on Facebook.
