I rented a book from Booksrun in October, The due date was December 15th. On Dec 10th I tried printing the free return label but it said my email was not found. I waited a day, it said the same thing. Keep in mind that I used the same email when I purchased the rental, they have been sending me confirmation emails, reminder emails, etc. To the same email! I have emailed twice, I have sent a message on the support page, I have called multiple times (nobody answers, DURING BUSINESS HOURS) and have not gotten a single response back. I was then charged with the 15$ extension fee and I am furious!

They stated my book (purchased new on amazon) was 'suspected counterfeit', kept it, and do not respond to repeated emails. Their initial email stated they would verify this and follow up but they have not. I was simply waiting to see if it was verified counterfeit so that I could address this with amazon. I waited the amount of time specified in the email and have contacted them several times over the last 6 months, no response. They have not confirmed it was counterfeit, paid me the money quoted, or returned the book.

When selling books, the BR Website cuts me off from adding books after adding about 5….says "problem loading too many books" or something like that…very frustrating and makes me not want to use this site at all! Also, I'm not sure when BooksRun started taking money out for an insurance fee? I don't think any other book sites do this, which makes me want to sell to other sites (Sellbackyourbooks, etc) instead. BooksRun has always been the pickiest site about book quality, which has been frustrating on its own, but now with these added issues, it's getting to the point where i find myself avoiding trying to sell to BR at all!
