I will start by saying I've had several excellent transactions with Booksrun; but I take issue with their counterfeit policy. It always seems like they are flagging high dollar books as counterfeit, while other buyers can validate the books with no issues. What's worse is they send a generic email to inform you it's counterfeit with absolutely no detailed information as to what led them to that conclusion. I have very happily moved all my business to other e-commerce sites.
The book flagged on this order # was actually paid by booksrun prior to them now deciding it was not authentic.

Paid extra shipping to receive fast but I had to buy from somewhere else because it didn't arrive as promised. Now I just need a label to return the rental but can't get a response or a label. Hard to contact. This was a rental and no label included to return, so had to search for number to call to get label to return and that has not been successful. Just include the label so people don't have to waste their time searching g for numbers and contacts. No one answered my email to date for the label.

This is how they operate:
1) You get a quote for your books and they will deposit $ into your paypal account. They send you a shipping label
2) After a couple 2-3 weeks they determine the books are 'counterfeit' and keep them, stating they are turning them over to the proper authorities
3) You just gave your books away and they are probably going to resell them

Downgraded quality on one item that was in excellent condition, couldn't offer an explanation.
Claimed one book was potentially counterfeit (because apparently the manufacturer sells brand new counterfeits to university bookstores?), but they "couldn't verify its authenticity" - not that they can verify it was counterfeit (because it wasn't), so they kept it, and paid me nothing on it. Again, couldn't offer any explanation.
They may pay you for books, but they're just as likely to steal them from you if you send them in.

They quoted me $600 for my books and paid me $4.71 said my books was counterfeit but they was not like the description on counterfeit books they have posted. They said they would give the books to the author for further investigation and they do not. They resell the books for alot more money than quoted to on amazon. They are dishonest company
