All good except setting up my Google account failed midway through. It seems the account now exists, but I never set up a password. I'm not sure if I'm getting charged. Very frustrating, but likely user error.
It's ridiculous that agents do not inform clients of the details of accessing their files (web files) after hosting expires.
I was completely misinformed. I was told that I can still access my website files even 30 days after my hosting platform expired. (I was not told that I must reactivate my website to access these files.) I had to end up paying almost $50 to reactivate the platform just to access my web files.
After speaking to the agent on the line I literally had to BEG her for a discount since I was misinformed or not given the proper information from the beginning and that alone was a hassle. She said she would ask a manager for a 20% which was approved, but later the system "wouldn't take it" so then she eventually had to downgrade it to a 15% off... and getting her to even do that took a lot of pressing. She was not understanding, and initially didn't have any sympathy or understanding of the fact that I was misinformed from the beginning.

It's been one problem after another. I should of had this website up the way it's supposed to be months ago. I have a lot more content for it but have been stuck on making the opt in box work. I talked to Aweber twice and added the records, I think I have the wrong form now and am trying to figure out how to change it.

Bluehost Support was always great and I admire that! But the changes for the subscriptions announced by Management was really a hassle to us developers, I had to migrate 15 websites (2 weeks of work) and keep only 10 for my unlimited web pro subscription that I thought it would never change on renewal! I still need to migrate more websites to achieve the terms requirement of 200,000 inodes/files on server! Hope this strategy doesn't shake the company foundation because it might cause customers to halt their accounts and move to competitors. I believe in Bluehost but please keep in mind and heart your Customers.
Domain registration issues have plagued our experience with bluehost over the past 3 months. We are taking our business elsewhere.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
