I purchased a product with the hope of making my life easier to manage my website instead it's worse. I tried to migrate my service. I was e-mailed with instructions that would assist this. I saw this as positive. I followed the instructions and not received anything back. The organisation from a foreigner's perspective is difficult to communicate with. I tried the chat bot. I waited for ages for a person. I find this morning someone finally got back to me. That was over 24hrs ago. I'm not online so they thank me for contacting Bluehost and closing because of inactivity. I not what's not inactive - and it's not me. I'm looking for an amicable solution. I thought this was a legitimate business I'm beginning to think otherwise. If there's anyone who has bothered to read this please have someone contact me. My site is fairdispute.com.au I'm sure they can find my e-mail address in their accounts.
Blue Host really appears to be an awful platform and doesn't make it easy to get WordPress sites running at all. I try to use your built in Migration tool, but it DOES NOT WORK.
I just created an account and CANNOT get a single chat agent to reply and your phone support is also terrible with nobody apparently actually present to answer the phone at any time. I am about to cancel my account and ask for a refund. VERY UNHAPPY WITH BLUEHOST.

This is not very user friendly and it doesn't explain things well. I need a small ecommerce site. The only theme that is coming up is a blog style theme and I cannot seem to get around it. I'm having no luck getting accurate answers from either bluehost or wordpress.com. I was under the (false, I now realize) impression that bluehost and wordpress worked together and migrating my old, expired site to bluehost would be fairly simple. It has been anything but. No one has been able to point me to a link to accurate instructions that follow the sequence I find when I try to upload, migrate, point domain names or any other thing I've been told to do. I'm told to contact wordpress but all they have is email support. So I've paid for a domain name (through wordpress.com) and a website through bluehost and I'm unable to do anything i need to with either.
I'm still learning and everything seems so confusing. I've made some stupid mistakes but honestly the help that I get from customer service is the best. It's quick and can solve all my problems with just 5 minutes. Wouldn't switch this platform-

Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
