The overall reputation of the company reflects a mix of positive and negative sentiments. Customers frequently praise the reliability of the hosting services, user-friendly interface, and the quality of customer support, particularly highlighting the helpfulness and professionalism of staff during technical issues. However, concerns arise regarding inconsistent customer service experiences, with some customers reporting inadequate product knowledge among representatives and communication gaps during service upgrades. Overall, while many users express satisfaction and loyalty, there is a clear need for improvement in training support staff and enhancing proactive communication with clients.

My website every time down, due to hacking attemps. And what i have discuss in my tech circle they advise to move hosting service because the blue host its self do this to push you to buy some more services from them.
I can't express enough how grateful I am to have discovered Bluehost for my hosting needs. From the moment I signed up, their seamless interface and intuitive tools made setting up my website a breeze. But what truly sets Bluehost apart is their unparalleled customer support. Whenever I've encountered an issue or needed guidance, their team has been there every step of the way, offering prompt and effective solutions with a warmth and professionalism that's truly commendable. With Bluehost, I not only have a reliable hosting provider, but also a dedicated partner in my online journey. Thank you, Bluehost, for being the best option for me, and for always being there to lend a helping hand.
20 days offline, no access to my account, unreliable and slow loading
Seems like bluehost downgraded i past year drastically
2 stars is because there were few people in your support team that actually helped, also I do appreciate you support team reaching out to me by email immediately after they fixed issue.
I would love to give you 5 stars, but the inability to easily create staging environments, edit them, and deploy them is a huge drawback. The functionality shows it's there, and you advertise it, but it does not work. Reached out to support about errors received and they told me it's a known bug. Really unacceptable given how essential staging environments are.
Bluehost has been dependable and easy to manage. I appreciate informing when my account will be charged for renewal BEFORE charging my card. This lets me know the company is thinking about the customer.
For some reason my IP was blocked from access so I couldn't get into my account. The people that helped me were great but there was no explanation why it happened. It's pretty frustrating with a new account just started in Nov 2023.
It took from October 23,2023 until FEbraury 14,2023 to transfer my website even when all people were aboard for the migration. Support members often contradicted each other and had no tolerance or knowledge of anything more than they had been told. My absolutely worst experience with a web host in all my years of building websites.
Incomplete system, untested. Prone to obvious errors that wouldn't have gotten through testing. Zero confidence and trust in the ability of your systems. Bait and switch marketing strategies the list goes on
Your support team cannot update my email without bugging me 10 times to confirm via email and even when I confirmed they keep asking again and again. Also the website is not easy to create here. It might have been easier to make it using html and css instead of putting so much money here.
My experience purchasing a domain and setting up web hosting was easy. The free email service was cumbersome, but functional. The WordPress integration was tricky for me, but perhaps I just lacked patience. The UI received upgrades since the time I first acquired a domain, so it seems like they are actively working to improve the experience.
The Chat people are horrible. Terrible delays. Every time I have to write it takes 35-55 minutes. Are they taking care of 20 people at a time? AND they are not skilled enough to do what is needed. It's hit or miss.
Got spammed with a $#*!ed survey 3 seconds after logging in asking me what my experience was like. Answer - $#*! because this pointless survey popped up getting in the way of me doing the task I logged on to do
Website down. Multiple attempts to work through tech support. Account being flagged for SPAM, misleading answers from tech support, a horrible UI upgrade, constant upsell... I am not sure there is anything you are doing well.
Your development screens don't make sense to me, can't figure out how to set up the websites and stores that I need. I've done this before, but your stuff seems deliberately obscure so that you can upsell.
I've been unable to work on my site for months, due to personal issues. I'm trying to start again but seem to be at a loss, can't find any of the themes offered when I got my website and honestly, I seem to need some help. What does it cost for someone to help me get a basic site up for a blog?
I was unable to link my business email account to my new Galaxy phone. Bluehost staff were able to help me find the correct info and email is working fine again.
I really hate when a place "makes improvements" and things get worse for the customer. The new design is terrible, the important things I need to get to are hidden behind multiple clicks, I have to relearn an interface, I had to enter my same credit card a thousand times to cover all my domains...and every time I use support it takes an hour or two, often over several times, to get anything solved. I've had bizarre billing errors, I've had incorrect or confusing information...it's just a terrible user experience overall. I used to rave about Bluehost 10 years ago, now I am only here out of the "inertia" required to migrate to somewhere else.
It's all really clear and easy to work with. I contacted support with one query - they were great, and also let me know that I could set up a free email address for my domain (unrelated to my query but very useful)!
I have used Bluehost for a while, and while it is decent for beginners, there are a few drawbacks. The pricing is a bit higher than competitors, especially during renewal. Also, the site speed isn't always the best, and customer support can be slow at times.
Had a really hard time with your services so far. I hope my experience gets better. It's been less than 2 weeks since I purchased your services and I've had to talk to 6 customer service representatives already. It's not looking good...
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
