You changed some plugins and my website is not working and customer service never called back
You didn't give us warning of the new interface and no videos or PDFs to help us navigate. Then when the new google rules came out in February 2024, you also did not give us any warning or instruction on how to be compliant. I had to be on the chat for several hours over three different times to make sure the settings were correct. The first person said they had made the changes, but when the second person came to help me a few days later, no changes had been made previously. So the first tech rep lied or was just grossly incompetent.
Website down. Multiple attempts to work through tech support. Account being flagged for SPAM, misleading answers from tech support, a horrible UI upgrade, constant upsell... I am not sure there is anything you are doing well.
Some things seem way more complicated than I'd like. I wish it was a less busy screen. When I can afford more, I will move back to Shopify for the ease of use unless this gets easier.
It can be a whole lotta clicks to get to the page I'm looking for. I don't like that when I first log in I see a whole page about thte online store and have to click again to get to the menu of things I can now do.
I've had trouble with chat understanding my issue, therefore I haven't been able to get the issue resolved.
Easy to use for someone without extensive website experience.
If WP Live doesn't cover issues with Plug ins then your're left contacting the plug in development team. Sometimes the Plug In development teams are more helpful than WP Live.
I cant access my website - just wheel of doom on website tab of the dashboard

I have installed the SSL certificate and it will need 30-40 minutes to get update, you can check after that, it will work. IT WAS NOT INSTALLED. THE STATEMENT WAS ENTIRELY FALSE. THUS i RETURN TODAY TO GET THE SSL INSTALLED.
I call every single month with the same issue that has not been rectified. I have already put in a ticket to have a call back days ago and no one has called me back yet. I have been paying hosting and purchasing my domains via bluehost for over 5 years and you treat your customers like crap. Bluehost continues to switch on the auto pay on my features without my permission causing NSF's with my bank and costing my hundreds of dollars every year with their error. No matter how many customer service reps I speak to that assure me during every call that they have fixed the problem it remains unfixed.
I am struggling to figure out how to remove themes and pages that I do not want on my website as well as editing the ones I do want
My emails have been blocked and sent with warning messages meaning I have lost business Bluehost also changed their login and didn't update me with my login ID.
I've had Bluehost since 2007 or 2008 and it started great. For 2022 and most of 2023, customer support was trash. The end of 2023 and this year things have been getting better. I am cautiously optimistic that this direction will continue.
I have to contact support every 2 or 3 days for an issue. You guys used to be the best platform for WP, now you are the worst. I have been with you since the beggining, now Im really tired and seriously considering changing provider.
There's too many issues that pop up. Moreover, when issues occur, there's no communication from your side on when the issues are resolved. For those clients who noticed issues, at least have a communication channel to let them know when it's resolved. Right now I have to login and start a new chat each time to follow-up on an open issue. Which wastes your time and mine. It might be the dumbest way to spend your company's resources.
For my particular use case, I haven't had any issues.
Support could not resolve my problem, and tried to end the chat without giving me the chance to giving rating. Extremely poor experience.
I have always been delighted with the service, mainly because of the support team, with quick responses and a warm approach, with operators who left a feeling of closeness and kindness. However, in the last year, I have noticed a decline. Although I haven't had a bad experience so far, I have noticed a significant delay between each response, everything feels very rigid to the point where you might even doubt if you are speaking with a chatbot or a human operator.
CodeGuard restore didn't work when required, causing me a huge problem and taking my website offline for 4 days while it was manually restored. To make it worse, the original problem requiring the restore was another piece of non-working functionality - the ability to swap PHP version on the fly, it worked a couple of times, then crashed the entire website irrecoverably. All in all, not a great customer experience at all
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
