I am being auto-billed for a product, but cannot find any information about options on my account page for options to reduce costs — such as a shorter renewal period.
Constant issues with the interface. I get locked out while attempting to log in, and I have received vague user codes when attempting to do a variety of standard tasks.
I'm getting used to it, but it's been rough. I spent too much money on support and it wasn't very helpful. I've gone elsewhere spent less and got way more.
It is very difficult to reach anyone. There is absolutely no advice. I had to remove my credit card from my account so that you would not charge for services I do not need. Terrible customer service.
So far I give 3 stars. I transferred my website from GoDaddy to Bluehost in order to start a monetized blog. Bluehost had a discounted rate for the basic plan which was more affordable than GoDaddy's basic plan. But setting up the website on Bluehost has been a nightmare. Admittedly, I am not overly tech-savvy, but the ease of use compared to the GoDaddy options I was using is night and day. I was using GoDaddy's FREE website builder and it STILL had more options and bells and whistles! I'm hoping that some research will help me figure out how to set up my website so making the switch wasn't a complete waste of time and money.
I always have trouble logging into my website. You need to fix something on the backend. This is a big problem; I've seen other people have this issue on forums where the blue circle keeps loading.
A couple of times support jacked things up to where I had to hire consultants. 'Updated' UI that is difficult. Annoying advertising every time I log in to do work.
It was very easy guide to unlock the account. Thanks for helping very quickly
Forced to create a pin with a default character count disallows me to use a common pin I like to use across the board thereby I forget and have to go thru hell getting access to what you claim is "MY account"
I am done with all these online account barriers I cannot control because it is a headache and takes up my personal time to appease your rule.
The Freyja WordPress theme I purchased through Bluehost and mojo marketplace is broken. The errors won't let it load. I had to "Download All" files from Mojo, because the "Main File download option has a 404 error on Mojo's site. The main file that I purchased is missing from the download.
Sent a notice that my account was going to be deactivated and needed to be renewed. But had already done so and paid additionally for years I didn't need. Sneaky.
I'm mot spending too much more time on explaining than I've already have month after month with different customer service personnel. It's a waste of my time. Your company's only positive is that it is cheap. I guess the adage, "you get what you paid for" is accurate here. Your customer service, while nice, are not always very smart and when they can't answer, they'll give you an answer you want to hear but doesn't solve the problem and then you have to start all over again; or, you get a lie and then have to start all over again; or, you end up with a person who insist that your system is correct when clearly it's not and wants to fight you on it; or, you finally get a supervisor after over an hour of frustration later only to be forwarded to an email customer service system (ticket system) and the issue returns again the following month; or, any solution creates more issues. Who wants to stay on this roller coaster ride? Your hosting has never been great, but at least it worked for my small information websites. Ever since the "upgrade" your service has been very wiggy and my problem keeps persisting. It's fraud, that your system charging my card multiple times for things I did not authorize and the problem never gets fixed. Slow hosting, slow minded-customer service = bad experiences.
Wordpress isn't working anymore. I bought a premium theme through Bluehost market and installed it, but then the theme didn't work. I changed the site URL to the one that I bought with Bluehost and now I can't access my Wordpress site.
Best Affordable and user-friendly, their rates were good for me as a newbie in the blogging career and never had much to start my blogging but Bluehost afforded my needs.
It's simple, my website has be deleted and I pay for your services just for the domain. And it's real a big change to redirect it to another page. That all. I very...
Very slow response time. Cannot even build my site because when I press Finish at the end, it loads for more than an hour saying it is building my site...
Not user friendly and chat help not live. I purchased a domain and it wont activate, instead its asking me to purchase another 2 years and security up sales. Ridiculous!
I'm jumping around various youtube videos to figure out how to do all my configuration. You should control your own narrative and have getting started videos on your home page.
Love the support team at Bluehost, thank you! The options available and the knowledge is superb, look forward to getting more out of the hosting
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
