Intermittent outages, sometimes for hours especially over the past few weeks, slow connections... has negatively impacted our business. It will take some time to regain our customer's trust in our site.
I cancelled my subscription but you have still tried to take the payment. There is no clear way of cancelling online. I called your help number and was disconnected after speaking to the person for about 5 minutyes
Overall Bluehost has done well. However it stopped automatically posting my website on my Facebook account even though it was set up to do that. The settings never changed but no new posts unless I did it manually.
Not sure why 'Sukruth' took a long time to identify the problem with my site. I figured out the problem while he purposely delayed our interaction. All it kept doing was stalling with 'im sorry'' and 'don't be tensed' comments. It was a super easy fix that I figured out.
Prices are great. Interface is easy enough to navigate. The convenience of being able to use WordPress seamlessly with Bluehost was the major thing I needed, but there too many error messages/bugs. Often when I save or update anything it takes 24 hours to look at my current changes and I am bombarded with upgrade and add-on offers.
I wanted a domain for my website and end up analyzing a number of different hosting providers but I think bluehost is better than others with respect to ease of use and reliability. Unfortunately they do have a higher prices which I would want their team to revise as other competitors are cheaper. Beside this affordability factor, it is the best option.
1) When I log in, why is the first thing I see an advertisement for another service? Every time? Is this an advertisement site? Quit that!
2) I had all my services set to NOT auto-renew. Deliberately. (See previous case files, if you want to know more, as to why.)
Yet clicking on the "Log In" link in an email you sent me advertising auto-renew seems to suddenly, "magically" have set that service back to auto-renew! Why? (No, I did *not* click the "Enable auto-renew" link in that email, just the "Log In" link.)
You are force-feeding me payments and services. I do not like that.
My website went blank and disappeared. I have tried multiple times to reach someone. I spent TWO HOURS two separate times on a chat with 5-30 minutes between them asking questions. They said they sent an email with instructions, it never came. Today, I have been on hold for over an hour and have STILL not talked to anyone. Their so-called customer service is not service at all. My business is currently down because they can't be bothered to actually help me. Their agents do not know what they are doing and seem to be trying to help multiple people at the same time. I've been happy with bluehost up until now but I have never had a problem. If you can't get help when you need it, your website is useless. Mine is currently gone. Based on this experience, I may be changing hosting sites very soon.
I am switching all our domains and services to another company. We have been without e-mail sending abilities for over two weeks and you have blamed everyone but yourselves and everyone, our ISP service provider, Microsoft themselves and an independent tech company said it is you that are having the problem. You folks have either been dishonest with us or just have incompetent staff.

I'm a pretty experienced geek. So when I call for assistance I'm never happy to get connected to an ESL person named "Justin" with an Indian accent and who only knows how to read a script. That won't happen to you at bluehost.
Bluehost is reasonably priced with acceptable performance on their shared-hosting plans. They don't spam me 4 times a week with sales promotions either.
If you're looking for 'nix-based hosting, particularly with drupal. Just go to their site and sign up.
I had a very difficult time communicating with the Chat representative. I didn't feel like the person understood what I was requesting and I also don't think I received accurate information. However, when I called on the phone, the rep understood and quickly took care of my problem. From now on, I will ony use the phone contact if I need help.
I have used Bluehost for the last few years and overall have had a really positive experience until recently when some pretty serious mistakes were made by Bluehost leading to my website being down for several days.
It's rare to find an online company who genuinely appreciates their customers. Bluehost has worked with me through a string of issues and they have always been cooperative and innovative. I truly enjoy working with Bluehost.

A little difficult to navigate. I feel like I am missing so many features just because I'm not the most computer literate. For instance, right before I publish there is a section that tells me how many errors are found. Well, I can't figure out how to see those errors so that I can fix them. Also, pluggins have almost completely shut me down more than once and I've had to call customer service just to be able to use the site again. And while customer service has always been helpful, it's a long process to make the call or to chat and get help. Logging in takes a long time also. It just is not very user friendly if you ask me.
Some of my pages went off-line. The first response was this was an issue on my side, which I refutted. They then found the source of the problem for the specific web page and we both thought we were done. After closing the chat I then found that there were more pages on the site off-line and had to cycle through the chat one more time and they fixed them all up.
Really disappointed with the services provided by Bluehost. I came from Hostgator shared servers to Bluehost. I thought your hosting would be better but the server can't handle a demo import and it's lacking in performance seriously.
I have been trying to transfer my domain to Bluehost for over a week, and although I received an email stating the transfer didn't go through, 3 support agents told me not to worry it would, but it still hasn't been transferred.
Extremely slow customer service keep you waiting for more than hour for a small issue. When i started using bluehost it was never like service was good now its horrible. The chat agents close the chat on your face when they dont have any answer. Multiple times happened to me.

Unfortunately, it took me 3 days to purchase my plan. For whatever reason, the system wouldn't let me use Chrome. Luckily, the support person on the phone suggested I try a different browser. It worked, which is great -- but that was not a good sign from the start. I'm hoping just unlucky and not indicative of tech challenges to come.
The agent was helpful but this dispute occurred year after year. I was assured every year for the past few years that a note has been made on our lorinet.info profile that the domain name annual renewal will be at no cost to us yet we kept getting billed then charged.
Answer: NO - please do not go with Bluehost, it will save you a lot of hassle. They have the worst customer service and take your accounts offline just so you upgrade for more money even though the thresholds were not met. This means they are just running a scam by taking your websites offline and then offering the solution to get them back online by paying more money to them. My websites were down for 6 days and I've lost hundreds of dollars in income, have to pay my developers for all the work they did and NONE of it will be refunded by Bluehost. I migrated everything away from them and they do not even want to refund my sign-up costs. It is a total scam run but incapable and money-grabbing people whereas the CEO of Endurance group Jeff Fox made $10.000.000 in 2019 alone and the CEO of Bluehost Suhaib Zaheer $2.300.000. Be aware you do not get scammed by them, I've warned you. They are an evil company run by people with zero morals. I am going to report their theft to the FTC, BBB, and law enforcement. I will not go down without a fight and they will regret stealing from me and other affiliates as their reputation sinks in the toilet.
