I've had some really good interactions with bladeHQ previously, but my most recent interactions with them was incredibly poor and I will think twice before returning.

There was an issue with one of my orders so I obviously reached out to find a resolution. The first customer service rep was very nice but could offer no resolution to my issue. So I kindly asked to be put in contact with her manager, Branson B. (Normally, I really wouldn't do this. But my order happened to be rather expensive this time and I honestly couldn't afford to not push the issue) This is where my distaste starts. Branson was needlessly snarky for our entire conversation and wildly unhelpful. The disrespect shown was honestly baffling. I'm unsure how he was put in a manager position, much less one that has to deal with the people they serve.

I'm an owner of a small leather working business and I would do great things and go as far as I could to make sure any products I provide are satisfactory. BladeHQ do not share the same morals.

BladeHQ has a large online stock to choose from, so I cannot rightfully leave a single star. But now that I understand that their mission and mine are wildly unaligned, they will be a last resort.

Great Customer Service

I ordered a knife with a faulty lock. This unfortunately resulted in me nicking myself. I engaged customer support and Brooke H. Was great to work with. A refund was immediately issued. Will be picking a different knife and ordering from BladeHQ again.

Blade edge issue

My order consisted of a knife with a small chip that was visible but very small, it's almost gone after sharpening but Brooke H from BladeHQ helped solve the issue swiftly and with great care. She's is definitely what I would imagine as a great and valued employee of the BladeHQ team, and if I ever have a issue again I would ask for her by name

Great selection and Super nice people

I've always had a good experience with BladeHQ. They have a great selection of knives in all price ranges. And they have always been fast to respond to my emails. Recently Brooke has been really nice and very helpful. Employees like her make me a return customer. I'm waiting on the Maxace Black Mirror at the moment.

Better than the last

I had ordered before and the shipping took awhile but I understand why as it was before Christmas and it was a bad time and it took 7 days. But now I ordered at 9:45 PM and the ordered was processed and shipped the next day. Plus the killer deals are always a big positive too!

Bad experience and lies

I ordered a knife from BladeHQ. I had never done business with them before but they had a nice offer where you would get a free knife with a purchase above a certain amount. So I decided to buy a knife (above that specified price). I even sent them an email the same day telling them the reason for my purchase with them was this offer of that extra free knife. A couple of days later I got an email from them telling me that they would look into this.

Well, the package arrived... 3 weeks later. No extra knife. I contacted them and someone called Lakyn replied to me telling me that this offer was only valid while supply lasted and if the freebie didn't show up automatically in the basket... then there was no more supply.

I just find this so sad. Why would you keep on advertising on your website this specific offer, if the supply had run out? I don't think there is any problem to monitor this as it was their main offer. When the supply is out, then stop advertising. Also, let customers know that if the freebie doesn't show up in the basket then there is no more to be had.

It would stop fools like me to do business with them. But then again, this is probably the case... advertise an offer, have a small print somewhere that it is only while supplies last, then only have one free knife in stock... then take all the money from all the fools who believe that they are an honest business, and when they ask them to honour the offer... just tell them that they don't have to honour it as it is not their responsibility to let you know that the offer is not valid anymore because there are no more freebies.

So they have had me as a fool, treated me as a fool so I guess I must be a fool to have believed them and done business with them. It will not happen again and I would advise anyone to be extra careful of this business and not believe any offers they make as they don't find it their responsibility to honour the offers they advertise.

Total scam! Buyer beware!

This is a company that will take your money instantly, drag their feet with shipping out your product and when you call to confront them on it they'll treat you like garbage. Very poor communication. Very poor customer service super disappointing $350 gone like a fart in the wind, UPS won't deliver my knife and these guys won't return my money. When I confront them, Their response was "we're very sorry, but there's nothing we can do have a nice day." They take no responsibility for shipping their product. I will never use them again. I hope microtech is paying attention to these reviews, I love their knives, but if this is the kind of partnerships they have, I'll never buy another one.

Once an order has shipped we are unable to change this. Prior to shipment, we can. BHQ Sent my $300 Christmas to the wrong address
December 27, 2022

When I put in an order of 7 knives for our Christmas tradition I was really excited until I found out that they sent it to the wrong address in another state. When I called blade HQ they just told me that that's the address that was on the order so I'm just out there money, with zero help from them. I'll be buying from someone else and recommend my friends to do likewise, with such crap customer service there's to many other good options with company's who actually care about there customers.

I ordered gifts well in advance for Christmas and it still hasnt even been processed! Its now after Christmas. I just want Companies to be honest. If you dont have the ability to ship 2 day(which you advertised) dont offer it and charge consumers! Thats theft by deception.

I have been in a customer facing industry for over 20 years. I know what to expect and how to set reasonable expectations.
I needed a new part for my knife, I emailed them and instantly got deferred to other websites or places. No explanation, no sentiment, no service at all. Replying to them, the 2nd person again pushed back and told me I couldnt return the product...I wanted a new part not to return it.
Listening to your customers goes a long way, even if you can't fix their problems.
I have since found the part elsewhere and hope to never use bladehq again.

Ordered a few times with Blade HQ. Been pretty good thus far. Until my last order! Hasn't shipped 5 days after I placed the order, the company seems to have forgotten I ordered at all! Sent an email...heard nothing. Waited on their call line for over 10 min...heard nothing. This company treats their customers like absolute dogsh*t, I recommend going somewhere else!

Order never shipped

*update. Customer service reached out to me and the issue seems to be resolved. The holidaysjust seem to be particularlybusy for them. So please cut them some slack on slow customer service. As I wish that I had before. *

I ordered a couple knives last Friday. My card was charged but my order has still not shipped. It is now Tuesday of the following week. I never received an email with my shipping information, which their website clearly states I should receive. I have emailed customer service multiple times and have still not received a reply to any of my emails. I hope I eventually receive my knives because I spent a lot of money on them. Very unhappy with my Blade HQ experience so far.

Terrible service
December 12, 2022

I was impressed with BladeHQ claims of same day handling and five day delivery.

I ordered on December 6. I didn't get a shipping confirmation tracking number until December 12. The post office still hasn't gotten the package. I even paid for delivery!

I sent three emails asking why it is taking so long. I never heard from them.

No idea when I might get my purchase.

I would never buy from them again. The only thing they did right away - charge my credit card!
