I had some troubles with the most recent Spyderco I purchased from BHQ and unfortunately it's just not right. The action was off and the blade not centered. No questions asked the gentleman that was helping me sent me a return label and assured me a full refund would be on its way. It's just nice to interact with a customer service rep who genuinely wants to help and provide great, well, customer service! I have purchased many knives from BHQ and will continue to do so.

I've spent quite a bit of money with Blade HQ. My last order being over $600. I asked if there was anyway I could receive the free promotional items that started being offered 3 days after my last purchase. I understand my purchase was prior to the promotion, however, being a faithful returning customer I was hoping my request would be considered. I can return the knives and repurchase to receive the promotional items but that is going to be a pain in everyone's butt. Or I could just return and purchase from another distributor. I am a very loyal consumer and have waited to purchase items from Blade HQ when items I wanted were out of stock, but available else wear. Instead of treating every single customer like we are expendable, maybe some consideration could be taken with extenuating circumstances or out of the norm requests are made by loyal customers who have spent thousands of dollars with your company. I know I may be being petty, but I have been in customer service for over 20 years, and the time, & money you would have needed to spend to honor my request is a drop in the bucket, but would have guaranteed you had a life-long loyal customer in me. But instead, no consideration of my request is even given and now I will be checking with your competitors before each purchase I make. I'm hoping that in the future requests like this one from loyal customers like myself are made, consideration will at least be taken.

I've had horrible service from Blade HQ and I'm international.
I purchased and paid for a Chris Reeves. My bank cleared the funds, and I completed my account and payment details.
Blade HQ however cancelled the payment as 'fraudulent' and refunded my money without consulting me. A minute later it seemed 'my' knife magically disappeared.
Through a series of painful emails, Blade HQ refused to acknowledge the issue. Blade HQ refused to tell me what the issue was with my payment method. Blade HQ refused to take an alternative payment method. They continued to persist that my sale (which had been accepted by my bank within my own country) was 'fraud', without any basis whatsoever. I provided drivers licence and passport proof. This did not sway the Customer Service Manager Branson who was beligerent and would not correct the matter, provide more information, nor would he assist me with fixing my account which appeared to have been prematurely marked as fraudulent.
Atrocious service, disappointing all around. Last, to top it off, the Customer Service Manager refused to escalate my complaint to his superior despite my asking multiple times.
I use Knife Center, KnifeWorks, DLT, Lamnia, REC, and Cutlery Shoppe. No issues whatsoever but Blade HQ is a clown show. Unprofessional!

Long story short, I've ordered from these people twice. Both times the third party has screwed me over. Once when I was trying to order a gift for my dad. Second time I ordered a knife for myself. Giving all the information that I have given them regarding my payment method. The location might my card information everything.
And I only do I have to Wait for the eight hours but now I have Wait a Additional forty eight hours Because it has to go through another review Again be giving Them all my information my address my Card information I still have to be On other further reviews.
This company is onprofessional and bad.

I have been purchasing from BladeHQ for probably 10+ years. Overall it had been a pretty good experience. My last purchase, though, was pretty miserable. I ordered two Medford manual Nosferatu's with violet color... the site indicated they had them. I called and placed my order. However, when they arrived, one was bronze color and the other blue. I called and made the observation, and whoever took the call seemed disinterested, if not downright ignorant to what they advertised. I kept both as they are great knives and the action buttery smooth.
On a larger scale in these days of geopolitical stress, I'm not going to order any more for one particular issue. China. There is no chance in hell I will purchase anything made in China, because I consider it treasonous to support the CCP - any Chinese company by law must be approved by CCP. I feel some sympathy for top designers who sell out to Chinese companies. Besides, why would anybody support the CCP, who gave the world Covid-19 (Wuhan) virus?
I called BladeHQ to resolve a pricing issue with my order and Lisa Q. Went above and beyond with helping me. She fixed the issue almost instantly and was amazingly polite while doing so. Thanks again and because of the excellent customer service I will remain to be a loyal customer of BladeHQ.
