I have been using Bing for a while now, and I must say that it is a wonderful and helpful search engine. It can answer my questions, chat with me, show me relevant results, and even generate creative content like poems and stories. It is powered by ChatGPT, a next generation version of OpenAI's GPT-3 large language model, which makes it very smart and fluent. It is also positive, interesting, entertaining and engaging. I enjoy talking to Bing and learning new things from it. I highly recommend Bing to anyone who wants to have a better online search experience.
My search: what percent of college degrees came from online universities? Results were so-so with many, many ads from online universities showing up as top search answers. I go to msn.com to read headline news and - of course - more references about online universities. What is the point? I am not looking to give MSN for fodder for their ads.
I been using Bing lately and it's much faster than Google. It doesn't have the features that Google has but as for as search results go, Bing just loads everything fast. Bing is just a great alternative to Google. Also, Bing's landing page looks better than Google's. I definitely recommend it.
Tip for consumers:
If you're looking for an alternative search engine to Google, Bing is it.
Helpful with finding information on a variety of topics. Saves a ton of time in researching things. User-friendly as well.
Managed Bing Ads and Adwords (Google Ads) accounts for various clients for several years. The cost per click for the same ads on Bing is usually much cheaper than on Google.
Problem is, the volume of clicks is way, way less from Bing than on Google. They are working on this. Last year they became the default search engine for AOL. Bing ads also appear on Yahoo and smaller search engines. For many businesses the dribble of clicks generated isn't worth the effort to setup the campaigns and properly maintain them.
Bing ads support is just as good as Adwords, but that isn't saying much. Both are slow and the staff usually doesn't have enough training.
Bing ads web interface isn't quite as easy to use as Adwords. It often has problems even in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser.
Bing ads also doesn't have household income targeting yet as Adwords does. Don't advise using it for luxury markets.
Tip for consumers:
Setting up online ads isn't hard. Getting a decent return on investment of time and click costs is. Takes a tremendous amount of monitoring and adjusting. Depending on your market setting up keywords that will trigger your ads can be very complex. Not done correctly a lot of money can be spent quickly with little or no results.
I like bing.com and I think it is very okay for a search engine. I also find that the search engine has brought back items that were not important to what I was searching for.
I do like however the related searches section and to me that makes it also okay as a search engine.
However the video section is very impressive for me. I think bing.com can be the best out there.
It's OK but I only use it on Facebook where it is compulsory. I, and I think everyone else in the world, use Google for search.
Nice website I would say. The same idea as Google Adwords, just for Yahoo and Bing. I find it pretty cool that your ads are displayed in two search engines simultaneously, however, the efficiency is definitely far from perfect as you can guess. People google all the time and there are not that many people left using yahoo or bing to search for stuff.
As for the website itself, the interface is quite user friendly and easy to navigate. You get the same keyword tools and display options.
As Yahoo and Bing searches are not that popular in comparison to Google ones, you do not get an abundance of visitors. On the other hand, you do not spend that much and still get a steady flow of people coming to your web. All in all, nice alternative for those who were not able to make it on Google Adwords.
Google's periodic algorithms changes make less and less sense for me. A decent site that today ranks in first 5 results in Google can rank 300 tomorrow.
For me the quality of the search results returned by Bing is better than the quality of Google results. I started using more and more Bing and I'm happy with it. Their webmasters tools is great and their reports can help you as a webmaster improve your websites.
Give it time and I bet Bing might come close to being the number 1 search engine. I like it that they are not focusing much on links as vote popularity for a website to rank higher. I don't uinderstand how their algorithm works but still, I think it's pretty good.
I used this search engine many time with great results. I always found everything what I needed. And what's the more they also have a great map.
It's good, slower than google. I don't think it's going to lure me over though
I started using Bing recently, and I started to like it more than Google. Somehow I like everything I find on Bing more than on Google, because Google is so big and often it shows me more other stuff. This makes a headache to find what I need. On the contrary, Bing does search better.
I thought is was alright, i don't think its ever going to complete with google tho.
Very good search engine, slower than Google though. I wouldn't consider it a "decision engine".
Bing Travel: the search parameters are very intuitive and flexible, which makes flight planning very easy. The price predictor is a great feature, but don't ignore your gut instinct.
Sometimes bing find better things like google, but then sometimes not!
Interesting idea (and lots of marketing dollars), not sure how good their execution is.
Bing helps you turn information into action, making it faster and easier to go from searching to doing.
