I recently bought two Mango Parrot bikes - one for my wife and another for my daughter. Fast shipping and easy assembly. It took more time to unwrap the carefully packaged bikes than it did to actually assemble them! Only had one minor issue with one bike - the front tube wouldn't hold air and it shipped without a rear/red reflector. Larry hooked me up with no questions asked. My wife and daughter love the bikes! Highly recommended.

I just bought the Titanium Ultegra road bike, list just under $2000. This is my 4th road bike from BD, and all have been good deals. Service has been excellent as well. I had a minor issue with the Stem on the Titanium bike and Larry sent me a replacement without hassle or delay. Chris at BD also a good communicator in sales. We had a derailleur hanger that needed replaced on our bike we purchased from them but as the bike was in another state, and we somehow misplaced the paperwork, were having trouble identifying which one we needed. After calling into BikesDirect and having them quickly offer to email us copies of the paperwork, she also suggested emailing Larry who could quickly identify and show us where to get a replacement. Within 15 minutes we had our answer and one on it's way. Not only were we able to purchase a great bike at an incredible price, we were able to get great service after the fact. Definitely recommend using them!

This is the end of my third season of riding this bike every chance that I get. I ride a few miles every day the weather permits in a small town plus occasional longer rides on public bike trails. I keep it in the garage when not in use. The bike is not left out in the weather so it still looks brand new.

As expected during this time I have needed to adjust the cables and the wheel spokes one time. The spokes will usually loosen some with use and cables will stretch. Anything that you might want to know about a bicycle or how to repair it can be found with and online search.

I received a bike with hidden damage. I shot an email to Bikes Direct and received a response from Larry in customer service the very next day. He proposed a solution that was very fair in my opinion and I'm a happy customer. It's really tough to give truly great customer service when you are dealing with a low margin, bulky product like a bike, and Bikes Direct did a good job in my case. I'm impressed with the product, price, and customer service.

Just installed a set of single speed Baker Street wheels on a commuter bike for my son. I only needed a rear wheel but the used wheels at the multitudes of shops her in Portland were all $70-$150! For a basic 10 year old wheel. I saw those while searching the web and at $49 including tires and tubes were worth a chance. What I got was a well built nameless double wall rim, a decent set of hubs, stainless spokes and a set of kenda tires. I thought I would have to true them and grease and adjust the hubs but they were perfect right out of the box. After reading negative stuff about bikes direct by the bike snobs I can tell you my experience was great. I raced bicycles for most of my youth, and worked in bike shops so I'm no novice. I got a solid set of wheels for a great price.

I've been searching for two road bikes for my sons for several months. I've been looking at local bike shops as well as Bikes Direct. Bikes Direct had the best value by far, so I ended up purchasing two Gravity Avenue bikes for my sons for Christmas. Unfortunately, both bikes arrived with multiple scratches on the paint, a broken shifter on one bike, and a bent front dropout on the front fork of the other. Here's where the superior customer service comes in. I exchanged emails with Larry, providing pictures of the issues. Received a response the same day (within one hour) with a resolution, replacement parts, and tracking info. Even though the bikes were a bit beat up upon arrival, the superior customer service provided will drive me to purchase my next bike at Bikes Direct. Many thanks Larry!

Well I got my bike from Bikes Direct and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and design of it!
Ordering was easy too!

My rear wheel for the bike arrived damaged so I emailed customer service and got a very quick response from Larry from Bikes Direct and he quickly made it right by helping me and shipped me a new wheel right away and made sure I was happy!

You can have great prices and products but if you have e bad customer service all that means nothing so thank you Larry and Bikes Direct!

I purchased a bike and it was delivered on time. It was defective and not the color advertised/purchased. Even though they have what I want in stock, they don't do exchanges. In order to return the bike they want ME to pay to return it to THEM.

They don't stand behind their product.
