Simple, versatile and very powerful.
The free version allows 100% of the basic functionality. You can specify that your bid is made just in the last 3-4-6 seconds.
In addition, for a small amount of registration, you can access sophisticated group control tools and security servers.
I use it for years, it avoids me having to be aware of bids that end at dawn. Highly recommended.
By accident won a digital camera and a leatherman knife in Feb. Should be shipped in 21 days or less they said. So finally talked to one customer service dude and i guess he had been hammered by angry bidders all day and he just said man i am so sorry, we are having major growing pains, it may be 3 or 4 months before you get your stuff, well, he was right, still no merchandise. They used to have limits on how many bid bundles you could win in a week but lifted that now these sharks with lots of money and time get them all at any cost to keep from others. STAY AWAY!
SpeedyBuys.com is an illegal scam operation that engages in deceptive advertising. They require your credit card and personal information in order to bid in the auction, promising the customer 300 free bids. There is no clear disclosure that they will charge $149 to your credit card. This site should be avoided at all costs.
They stole my money too when I signed up $150.00+ I feel like a complete fool shame on me but I think from the conversation I had today 11/5/10 their going down so no doubt Ill never get my money back, but if everyone complains to your state attorney general office we might be able to put them away for awhile
Stay away from this site like the plague! I did not realize that every bid I make would cost me 60 cents. THEN, when the clock winds down to one second, another bid is made, adding 13 seconds to the clock! This un-ending bidding goes on for hours, making the site a lot of money. Twice, I made a bid with 1 second to go... the auction mysteriously closed, and the previous bidder had won the item! You will have more success with the Lottery!
This website mysteriously suspended my account 3 weeks before they shut down - most likely because they did not want to send my merchandise that I had won. They owe me over $2,300 in merchandise!
Not only did my bidsite keep jumping to another page, they overbilled me by $149.95 and when I called them on it they said it would take 2 weeks to get a refund
Has anyone seen any auctions on the site lately? The live chat is gone, no reply's to emails or phone calls. Looks like they closed the actions down, but you can still register to get scammed out of $150?
I also thought you could join for free but was duped like everyone else. I've called *******217 and have spoken with Shaunie (today), Bob, Joan and Rustin. My refund has been processed and I'm just waiting on it to show back up to my account. That's some MESS that they charge like this and was just as shocked as all of you were. Just know, they have a fraud department and will track your IP address if you say you "didn't" make the purchase.
