I needed a "dummy battery" fro my Sony A6000 camera. However, I needed one with a female connector. All other vendors offer only a male connector.

Since 2010, when I bought my first camera on the site, a Sony HVR Z7, I use the BH website, compulsively, to see the news, to consult technical information and whenever possible, to update my equipment. BH is part of my company's growth in Brazil.
Re: preorders, if you need or want your product or merchandise within a reasonable amount of time, DO NOT PREORDER with B&H. I placed my pre order of the macbook air on 11/23/18... after written inquiry, several calls, several estimated restock dates. On 12/4/2018 I was told it would be up to 10 more days, MAYBE. The customer service rep. Was very quiet and unconcerned which resulted in cancellation of my order which he was able to do without question or attempt to resolve before the call ended I received an email that the order was cancelled, which was not what I wanted but the response time was better. Just an FYI... ITS NOT WORTH IT

Fedex has a returned order in its New Jersey warehouse, AND HAS NOT RETURNED IT TO B&H New Jersey warehouse after 10 days, even after2 requests for B&H customer service (they told me...)
As a result B&H does not issue a credit.

Wouldn't go anywhere else first. If B&H doesn't have it, it probably isn't worth buying. If they do have it, the price is probably the best. I order something before 2 pm and i get it the next day!
I ordered a Joby tripod for my iPhone on Wednesday and at the same time ordered some other items from Amazon; B&H had it pulled, packed, shipped, tracked, and in my hands (no shipping charge) before Amazon has even gotten around to pulling my order! I assume Amazon has me on slo-mo since I opted for free shipping, but I will think twice and more thoroughly check B&H before waiting for Slo-mo-zon again.
I have been using B&H for years and I am thrilled with their selection, rapid shipping and the customer service when you have either a technical question or a problem.
I typically order from Amazon, but due to promised, but non-existent 2-day delivery and two very expensive Amazon items that somehow disappeared after being received at a UPS waypoint, I decided to try B&H. Two monitors later, wow! Free two-day shipping that actually is two-day shipping (from FedEx, no less)! One monitor was DOA. Called their customer service and experienced a seamless return. Agent asked about the monitor specs I was looking for in a replacement, and helped me identify a Samsung Odyssey Neo G7, a much better choice than my original one, which I'm definitely enjoying now. Just now ordered a Laptop Cooler, which are typically USB-powered. I had looked for an hour or more for a cooler that was AC-powered (I'm out of USB ports on my laptop), and couldn't find one. I then went to B&H to buy a USB-powered cooler and a USB Hub. Low and behold, B&H offered a third-party USB wall charger and cable as an accessory for the cooling pad I wanted! That shows how close to the customer they are! Bottom line? Best E-store on the planet

I started purchasing from B&H, because Adorama sold me a grey market lens, and when i confronted them, they tried to gaslight and never offered apology. Sooo...
I purchased Nikon z6ii, and... yup... grey market camera!
I called and the CSR pointed out that it said "imported", but when i put it in my cart it did NOT say that. I know bc ever since my Adorama experience i check that. She then proceeds to tell me the item number for the US version, as that is specific. While she's talking, i do 3 searches... one from my work phone, laptop, and tablet... they all return the US version, so i scroll to see if there's a listing for the imported... nothing. She say..."you must have bought the last one. Yeah... that's it.
Then I get connected to a supervisor, Rosie, who is less than helpful. We exchanged words and she finally says well if you send that today to FedEx I can get it out today, otherwise we will send it once we receive yours back. I told her I have been a customer for years and if bought tons of equipment from them. Despite that this was their fault, and I needed this immediately. I tell her that I ordered this because I needed to get acclimated because I have a shoot next week, and I said after next week who knows maybe I'll end up returning this one. And then she says well if you were thinking about returning it, then the offer is rescinded we won't mail you out another one today.
So B&H f'd up.

The App doesn't work good. I bought too many itens for a wedding and equipment doesn't arrive on time. And came part of the equipment, I had to go to best buy and buy.
