I've purchased books through this platform three times this year and of the three times, I've received horrendous quality service.
First, they sent books that were in acceptable condition—but were listed as like new or very good—and very, very beat up. None of the other books were as described either, which makes me believe they aren't even slightly transparent with their condition/quality descriptions. They offered a quick refund and apologized but it certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.
Second time, after I took a four or five month break in between purchases, they sent me THE WRONG ORDER. Entirely. I ordered three books and they sent me three random books that were clearly somebody else's order. I asked them to rectify it—afterall, they still had at least two of the books in stock at the same price. Another "apology" (I say it like this because frankly it barely was one) and refund, no books. So, here I am waiting to get the refund knowing that by the time I do the books will absolutely be out of stock.
It's a shame because my first experience with them was great. Now, I have to think they are nothing more than a cheaply drawn scam artist in disguise.
Everything came finally in separate packages. Books are in excellent condition. Looking forward to reading it.

I ordered the above book on August 11,2020 and received an e-mail on August 12,2020 saying that it had been shipped. Unfortunately, I have not received the book as yet today, September 19,2020.

The book arrived in exelent condition, the only negative thing is that occasionally there are library stamps in it.

I wanted to complete my collection of a series, but I discovered that the entire series was out of print! I was super happy to discover that I could still buy the books, and from a business that supports literacy charities no less! I do wish that the quality of the books was a bit more clear on the website. Two of the books I received (which said only "Used - Good") were former library books, complete with all the stickers and plastic coverings that you'd expect from a library. It's not the end of the world by any means and the pages are in fact in good condition, but the stickers really stand out on my shelf and I wish I'd been able to search through the listings and see if any of them were not former library books. But in the end I'm still really satisfied with BWB and the fact that I can find out-of-print books!
Shipping time was plenty quick, especially for during a pandemic.
This was a gift to a dear friend and as I live on the other side of the Ocean, I had to use online solution rather than a local bookstore. I am glad that I made my friend happy in a way that will also make many other people happy -- not 'filthy rich' - but happy to learn to read and think...
