I got my books within a week and the anticipation was real. When they did come my books were packaged nicely and there was no damage to them at all. It was fast, cheap and overall a good experience. 10/10 would recommend!
I ordered two books on new and one used. Both were delivered when I expected them. The new book is clean and new as expected. The used is definitely used but in great shape and has a better feel to it with the usage. So excited!
This is my first time ordering from BetterWorldBooks. I understood that the delivery might take a while due to COVID19, but it took a bit longer than expected. Fine for me as the book was for myself, but if the book was needed within a certain amount of time, then it's something to keep in mind. Also, the book came with a hefty dent, but this probably happened in transport. Other than that, I'm very happy with my order and it is in perfect condition otherwise.
I had a very poor experience with this company and their support team. I ordered a book and it did not arrive. I contacted them about this and was told "Customers must inform Better World Books of nondeliverey within 60 business days of shipping." I was unaware or this and didn't see any email saying it had been shipped. They will not give me a refund nor the book I ordered. I have emailed them several times and they send the same response every time. I will never use them again.
I ordered a book and received confirmation of the order quickly. A few hours later, I received another email stating that the book would be shipping soon. Over 24 hours later, I received an email saying the book had already been sold and they were sorry for any inconvenience. I then looked on eBay and there it was, listed for sale (at a much higher price) from Better World Books. I will no longer be a customer.
I was so happy to be able to find the out of print book I was looking for at Better World Books. It was dispatched quickly and I was advised that it would get to me as soon as the pandemic would allow, so that was fine.

BWB is a wonderful alternative to Amazon in so many ways. They have an excellent selection, good prices, free shipping, and terrific staff and service. If they make a mistake they more than compensate for it. They are wonderful and I come to them first for any book I want.
I ordered five books and they arrived promptly and in the condition that was promised. BetterWorldBooks is the first place I look when I want to purchase a book. They have many books listed in very good condition which are a real bargain compared to buying new. Shipping is free, and I appreciate their positive environmental impact.
I have the whole series now! It's been partially incomplete since 2010. I had lost book 5 and always wanted the son's of the dark series. The Daughters of the moon & Son's of the dark are supposed to be read together. And I got the last 5 books for a great price!
Since I'm living in Europe I had to wait a little longer for my book to arrive, probably also because I ordered during corona time, but it was more than worth it! The book was in a very good condition and I'm so happy that I found it at BetterWorldBooks.com! Also the e-mail that I received when the book was shipped and on it's way, was great and very funny too! I guess you'll have to order a book yourself to find out...:-). I was looking for an art book for my kindergarten aged grandson. His teacher had this book in her class and he loved it. It has been out of print quite a few years and finding it was doubtful. I love the sense of humour in the email informing me that my order had been dispatched. My order was processed the next day. I knew it would take time to arrive considering that I am overseas and with the current restrictions due to this pandemic. But it is here and I am pleased with my dealings with Better World Books. I buy from BetterWorldBooks as the books are cheap and I enjoy free shipments. I do not mind the waiting of shipment as I am staying far from USA. At the same time I am doing some small charity. Books arrived in good condition as a second hand book standard. I have received refunds for books I do not received. Since I am happy with my purchase, I will keep buying from BetterWorldBooks and also spreading words about your good organisation. Keep up the good works.
I love better world books because they always have the books I need, at affordable prices. They also have fast shipping and always have great deals going on! Additionally, I love the fact that they donate to places that cannot afford books. As a teacher, it is very important to me that children are able to have access to books.
Two books came in that I had ordered in "good" condition and they were great! I'd definitely call them "good" condition and I didn't have any problems! However, one book that I ordered in "good" condition came in and it was literally in garbage condition. Just giving this book away or donating it actually would have been an insult due to how damaged it was. I ended up throwing it away (which feels like a sin or an illegal action) and ordering the same book again from eBay.
Because the cost to buy new books sky rocketed, I discovered the library to check out books to read. When the Virus closed everything down, no books. I don't like reading from the internet
Then i discovered you could buy used books at fantastic low prices. I ordered 5 and they came in great shape for a ridiculously low price. I'm about ready to order more. I am very happy and pleased.
The book that I received is not of the quality advertised. The book is water damaged, beat up, and marked up. This is the second book in as many months that I received that was not as advertised.
I'm starting to feel hesitant to order books from you.
I have an expectation to receive what is advertised.

We don't have many bookstores in my town in Thailand, so getting books is so exciting. Thank you for the Christmas gift in February, Better World Books! Love that I'm able to: 1) reuse books and 2) have greener shipping options.
The first book I ordered didn't make it to my mailbox for a reason we wil probably never know. Better World immediately replaced it and I was able to read it in plenty of time before my book club meeting.
I will order my next book club book selection from them today.
