Better World Books

Through my own fault I ordered two of the same book. It is a textbook; it is not like I could give it away as a gift.
I neglected to check over my order. My fault. It would have been nice if there were a prompt that came up that asked, "Do you want two of the same thing?". Just saying. Other than that - all good.

This is the best place to buy books at a reasonable price. Easy to navigate and peruse books until your heart is content. Pop them into in basket and away you go. The books don't arrive by the next plane as in other sites, but in a reasonable amount of time. If you are reading hardcopy books, who's in a hurry anyway!

I was very happy to receive a copy of this story. It is one of my favorite read-aloud books to share with my students, and now they can have access to it in our classroom library. The price was very reasonable and order delivery was efficient. THANK YOU!

Over time I can usually find the books I want at a price I'm prepared to pay. I like that they recycle Library books as it saves them going to landfill. As I'm overseas it usually takes about a month or so for the books to arrive but they almost always turn up eventually and when they don't I always get good customer service.

I received my book in great condition at an incredible price. Whoever shipped it sneaked a postcard from the setting of the book (Germany) and I am so in love with it. I am so excited to start reading my book. Thank you so much.

A virtual bookstore and took me awhile to decide which on my wish list to buy. I am happy with my selection and they came in a timely manner, neatly packed. I've ordered from BetterWorldBooks before and was very satisfied with the books and the time it took to arrive and their condition.

Book arrived as expected. Not sure I like the way this process is done - my answer here is in direct reponse to an email asking if I had received my purchase, no indication of a review expected. So though the order process was very good, I am only putting 'good' in the star rating above as I feel tricked into giving any rating at all.

I guarantee you'll find what you're looking for. The times I haven't found what I was looking for were a few and far between. The prices are extremely affordable, even more so than thriftbooks.com! And I love that they give back via their carbon tax and donating books to people who don't have access!

I have always been pleased with my orders. I am kept informed when they are shipped. Usually find the books I am looking for and it is a good feeling knowing I am helping spread literacy around the world.

... I acquire my books through BetterWorldBooks... I've never had a problem with an order, love the mission, and the condtion descriptions for used books are accurate and fair. They'll get my business whenever it's possible.

Whenever looking for specific titles or authors, I always stop by Better World Books first. Good selection, great prices, accurate descriptions, prompt shipping, and the donation of a book in support of literacy programs for each one I purchase - always a good experience.

I ordered the above book on August 11,2020 and received an e-mail on August 12,2020 saying that it had been shipped. Unfortunately, I have not received the book as yet today, September 19,2020.

I was very happy with my first order and have told my friends how great it was. I plan to buy again. I like the philosophy behind your company and it provides us with used books rather than going in trash cans.

Books came in 2 pkgs at first, then one book came later. All in good shape, some paperback, some hardback. Have read 2 of the books already, looking forward to reading the rest. Very happy with prices & service. Also answered my email timely.
