Better World Books

I have been buying books here for over a year. I really like the fact they donate etc. only one time did I have a problem, a note to them, solved in less than 24 hours. I whole hardly recommend Best World Books

They have a wonderful selection of books! Books have always been in even better condition than listed and they ship promptly every time! With all the other environmental and social work they do I will be buying books from here instead of Amazon.

An excellent recycling facility that extends the life of a book and encourages readers to expand their choice of genres as well as within their preferred range. I also use it to 'stock up' on seminal texts which I pass on to other, often reluctant, readers.

Watching the Tree was delivered in good condition. I plan on giving it to my dad for Christmas. When I read it, and learned about ancient Chinese medical methods/philosophy, I knew it would be a good book for him because he's a huge medical science nerd.

More than once I've received a book in much poorer condition than was listed. Even when I've asked for a new copy, the new book I receive is often still in poorer condition than promised. They'll also sometimes randomly cancel parts of my orders because a book is no longer available, which is incredibly annoying because they'll do it days after my order, at which point I've already waited several days for my book.

I have just received my 2nd order from BetterWorldBooks. I love this store because the books are reasonable, in excellent condition if they were used and the delivery is very fast. They also have a huge selection of just about any type of reading you are looking for. I highly recommend them.

When it comes to books there are two things i look for, cheap to free shipping and good to great customer service. These guys meet those requirments so no need to change services. Been using them for 5 years and I am very happy camper

I had read one book by Hilary Matel and decided to look for more. Better World Books had several and when I ordered those and two or three others by favorite authors, they gave me a lovely discount and free shipping!
The website is easy to navigate and full of treasures. What's not to love.

Efficient, well priced, lovely, but the insistence on filling out reviews to mandatory lengths just to say you were happy with the service is gibberish-generating; and not the fault of the service itself, I should think.

As always, BWB was prompt with the delivery of my latest purchase, my book was well packaged and in good shape. And the emails letting me know it's on the way are so fun! I love buying books here. I feel good about me helping the planet, NOT supporting a large corporation, and getting a book I want.

Since I live thousands of miles from your store you figure that I can get the worst of your books. Rejects from libraries, ones without covers, nicked etc. Thus saving the good collectable books for you local customers.
After I read those so far I have thrown them into the garbage so no one else would get them.

I looked long and hard to find 3 books for a friend that had loaned her original books out, and they were never returned. Granted, they were not the same books but it showed her that someone cared enough about her to replace some of what she had lost. These were not books that are normally on just any shelf.

The book was promoted as used like new. It was more like used dug out of a trash bin. And that is exactly where it went after I opened the packaging. Dirty, dog eared, and broken spine.
If this was an example of used like new I shudder to think of what good or fair conditioned books would be like.

Brilliant search, fantastic topics for search, you can look up by author, title, and better yet, the prices, quality, service, shipping, I used to be an amazon.com book customer, I am no longer. I love the variety and specific sections for the books I want to buy. I am so happy to shop here, I love the option to put on a wish list also. Thank you for providing such an awesome avenue for used books and new books.

I've ordered a few books twice now because the picture of book I ordered on website was not the exact one I received. It's important for me that some of my books for example Steinbeck have the same picture uniform look. The titles were correct though. So if the "look" of a book is of importance to you, be careful!
