Received a gift from my Daughter 3 days lste and the berries where very very bad! They where smelly and didn't even look nice. Called and complained. They sent another one for 2 days later and they where even worse. Cake frosting was a scrapped to one side and berries where not even dipped. I have pictures and willing to show everybody
My friend ordered me a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for mother's day and paid extra for me to get them on Saturday. They never arrived and when he called they apologized and said they would be here on Monday. Monday came and I received the chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberries were horrible. They were smashed, stinky, molded and were received in poor taste. I could not believe it. I called customer service and they said they would reimburse his account and I was promised a replacement of strawberries in which I never received. We are going to contact the Better Business Bureau and express our unsatisfactory service both delivery and customer service. We will take our service elsewhere in the future. Very unhappy customers!
Service is terrible and customer service is in the Philippians - later found out that Shari's were acquired by 1-800-Flowers and Proflowers no longer in business. If customers are expecting the same service sorry to tell you dont waste your time. I submitted an order on October 5th schedule for delivery on October 25th which was a day late. Just dealing with the customr service was a headache--they resolved later but it took 5 hours being on phone with the manager because they had no information to provide. Also, wrote letter to corporate headquaters and sales to tell them of the frustration and will never order from them again since they have acquired Sharis' Berries and Proflowers no longer in business - I will find another vendor.
The shipping on these berries is ridiculous. Supposed to be $19 and ended up closer to $60. These berries were for my mom for Valentine's Day and she said I paid way too much for them. She didn't like that the stems were still on them and they weren't that good. I listened to Rush Limbaugh promoting this product and unfortunately trusted his opinion. Rush, you were wrong on this one. I can't afford the exorbitant price for shipping.
For one thing last year 2018 on my birthday my husband tried to surprise me and they flowers and strawberries came the next day. For valentines day 2019 they guarantee it will be delivered on time and it came the next day and the chocolate was melted off the strawberries and they looked like someone licked them and some of the strawberries were rotten WTF seriously my husband could not stop me from crying we will never use this company ever again...
Ordered for my mom's birthday on 2/2 and they weren't delivered until 2/7 and looked horrible. Things happen. I contacted customer service to see if they would process a refund as I spent $65. First girl offered me 50% refund and redelivery. Ok sure. She processes the refund then suddenly the chat ends. Tried 2 more times to get in contact with them and nothing. Finally get ahold of someone and it takes 30 minutes just for them to tell me what I already knew. Customer service isn't the best.
I purchased a Valentine's gift packaged to be delivered to my wife at work. And paid the extra fee to have it delivered early and upgraded with roses. The package was delivered without all of the items that were ordered. So I called in to complain which turned into almost an hour of the most aggravating phone call I've ever been on to some NON English speaking person. That assured me that I was gonna be refunded fully of 118.31 and sent an e-mail to me stating that fact. So the next day I check my account and they didn't refund me, they charged me again. So I e-mailed them about it and called on it and they assured me again that they would take care of it and still after 2 weeks I have not been reimbursed any money at all. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.
The berries arrived super late, broken and spoiled. Since Saturday I've tried to communicate with this company. Yesterday they returned my call at 4:06am and then this morning at 4:50am, now I can't reach them. This company also tried to blame the pandemic, which is total BS. My mother-in-law lives 5 miles from us and recieved her berries on time. So instead of accepting responsibility they tried to place blame. I suggest dipping your own strawberries or buy them at Fred Meyer. I've added pics. It's to bad you can't add the smell brecause they've spoiled as well.
Bought a Groupon. Couldn't figure out how to order from phone, so called. Was on hold for 20 minutes then to be answered by someone who had a language barrier. I could not understand her and she had a hard time understanding me. I stayed with the call b/c I didn't want to hang up and call again.
She couldn't get my Groupon to work and said it had expired. It hadn't.
Was on the phone for 35 minutes literally spelling out every letter in the delivery address, and correcting her numerous times on her confirmation back to me.
Finally, got it right and was told there was a delivery fee. Fine. Not a problem. But since it is Wednesday, the first it could be delivered was Friday - BUT - there was an additional $4.99 ON TOP of the $14.99 b/c it is considered a rush. IF I chose Saturday, It would have been an additional $9.99 on top of the $14.99 b/c it's a Saturday.
Will not order again.
Boyfriend ordered a deluxe bouquet with guaranteed delivery for Valentine's day. I was home all day with our son. They lied and said it couldn't be delivered bc nobody was home. Then I come home on friday to a delivery of a crappy arrangement of 11 red roses that were half dead! He had to call and argue with "customer service" to receive a refund. First picture is what was ordered and second is what was recieved!
Placed an order for over $400 a week before Valentine's Day for my employees. The did not deliver on Valentine's Day. I called four times, waited on hold for over an hour. Customer service rep from India kept repeating same script over and over regardless of my question. Asked for a supervisor and after holding 12 minutes they hung up on me. I sent two emails to "*******@sharriesberries" and still no response. The sent a generic email at 11:00pm apologizing for not delivering and refunded me $10. I paid extra for each delivery to receive before noon, but thanks for the $10 refund and horrible customer service. Will never order from them again!
I wouldn't even give one star to this company, but I had to mark one star to submit this review. Order arrived in terrible condition. Ice packs were still cold, so the berries must have been shipped this way. Chocolate had slid off of the berries and berries tasted and smelled fermented. The only relief offered by the company was 5% off my next order. Don't throw your money away with this company.
I bought a HALF A DOZEN strawberries after they advertised it being 19.99. After I hit the submit button for purchase, they charged me 53.00 after shipping and delivery! 50 dollars for 6 little strawberries. Ridiculous! I could have just bought an edibles arrangement for 50 than on 6 little pieces of fruit
I tried to order online. The website didn't seem to be working. So an hour or so later, I called. She told me to "call back later." I asked her what later was. I called another hour later and the person answering could not speak English. I didn't know if my order had been placed or not because the website not sure it was working. The lady could not even understand English at all. I tried to get a supervisor but she wouldn't give me one or even understand what I was saying. Horrible!
I ordered berries for my Dentist office and when they were finally delivered they were hot and molded. I contacted the company they claimed they would give me a refund but after going round and round still NO refund. Will never use them again.
I ordered a valentines bouquet of sharis berries on February 10th to be delivered on the 14th. Although I got a confirmation at 6:30pm at night the recipient didn't receive the item. His number was never called and order was never received! So frustrated $110 wasted. I should have just stuck with edible arrangements. I've called customer service and they give the run arounds and don't talk to customers the correct way neither. Very horrible experience I've had with them, as well as the flower place.
I ordered a Valentines Gift for my husband with a delivery date of 2/11. I paid the extra $14.99 besides the $17.99 to have it delivered before noon. At 12:30, I called him asking if he received anything. The answer no. I called Shari's Berties and spoke to a rep asking where the order was coming from. She spoke very little English and responded the US. Again I asked where in Nj it was originating from. Again she replied the US. Apparently she had no clue! I should have learned my lesson because a year earlier, they had delivered my gift to the wrong address. Having the benefit of the doubt, I ordered this year. My mistake! I had to argue with them for a refund. The my gift, order never made it to my husband. To say the least, as I told the supervisor, this was my last. I learned my lesson and will NEVER order from them again!
I ordered 12 berries from a Groupon I had purchased. Yes, the shipping was a bit pricy (about $19), but the order arrived on time in a very well packed box with a cold pack and insulation. I can see why it was expensive. I had ordered the berries without looking at the reviews and looked at the reviews after. So I was skeptical.
I was pleasantly surprised. I had my husband cut into the berries first to make sure they were good. They were bright red and looked amazing. Yes, they were completely covered in chocolate (including the stem unlike all of the photos on their website), but who cares. I say the more chocolate the better. I though they were very good. I would order again for a special treat.
Ordered a $50 package for dear friends, to be delivered for a strategic special occasion. The package did not arrive by the intended date. I gave it 2 more days. Still no arrival. I called and a man who spoke poor English and with a difficult dialect answered. It took us 30 minutes to dialogue in order for him to understand the problem and how to solve it. He reordered our gift and said it'll be there by May 16th. May 17th, still no package. (Ugh). I called again, a lady answered who spoke a little more English but still a foreign dialect. I get it, these people are just trying to make a living and feed their families. I empathize with that. But c'mon on.
And yes, we're just coming off COVID. Okay.
So I reordered the package a second time. She said it'll be there by May 20th.
Today is May 21st.
I'm "out" 50 bucks because I don't even want to call back again.

I ordered for Mother's Day a dozen Chocolate covered starwberries and 18 mini strawberry cheese cake bites. Not only was the shipping charge because it is hot out ridiculous that it cost more them the order. It was delivered on the Friday before Mother's Day and was only half the order. Called customer service and told me they would deliver the other half on the following Wednesday after Mother's Day. After I said it was unacceptable they said they could deliver on Monday that was the best they could do. Then when the order came on Monday it was still wrong not strawberry covered cheesecake it was plain cheese cake bites. Do yourself a favor and don't order from here.
