Since 1800flowers.com has taken over the Shari's Berries brand, I have only received late deliveries and ruined strawberries. This Valentine's Day I made 4 orders (1 for each of my granddaughters) and only one order arrived on time. The other 3 are still in limbo and I expect the strawberries to be ruined.
I need to find another company.
I have received the gourmet drizzled berries before and they were amazing. Unfortunately, when I placed an order for these berries I did not know that I would have a difficult time receiving them. The customer service is very difficult because many of the agent's background were extremely loud making it hard to share my information. I placed my order on 1/27/21 and was expected to get them on 2/11/21. I requested a delivery date change for 2/13/21, in which I was told was not available. However, I waited for my berries to be delivered on 2/11 and never received them. When I spoke to a representative they stated that my order was going to be delivered on 2/13 which I never received a confirmation of that. When I spoke to Luisa (the only representative that was helpful) she stated that the last agent that I spoke with did not process my order correctly that led to it being canceled. I would have never known of this cancelation if I did not call customer service. My berries were resubmitted and now I have to receive them on 2/16. I guess the thirty dollar credit that I also will receive because of this situation is suppose to help. For future reference, changing the date of your order is not worth it.
I have yet for these to get to their intended destination on time. There are better chocolate covered strawberries elsewhere
Problems lies and excuses. Customer service is scripted with promises of correcting however it just seems they can't get it together. I'm sure the problem is higher than the poor reps taking the calls.
I ordered a 24 package of Shari's Berries and paid extra to assure it would be delivered to my house on Friday, February 12th. It didn't show up even after I called late night and kept being assured by their automatic system that they would be delivered that day yet. Saturday morning, February 13th, I get an e-mail saying they had been delivered. No they haven't so I call them and get a customer service rep. Who puts me on hold several times then tells me they can't deliver until Monday, February 15th! Also says they will give me a $20 discount on my next order. I said not good enough! Must have by Valentines on Feb. 14th. She said they couldn't and I said I want to talk to a supervisor. After another 10 minute hold a supervisor comes on and again tells me they can't deliver until after Valentine's. I said not my problem and they must deliver by Valentines. Finally, he said he would work on it to have it to me by Valentines tomorrow. I told him I expect a call if he can not. He said he would. I'm sure I'm going to end up calling my credit card company to report them and get a refund as I have no faith in this outfit.
Ordered strawberries a week in advance for my Mom. Didnt receive. Was on phone for two hours with customer service four different reps. Was disconnected. Finally talked with management and she didn't care either. Im suppose to get refund. Mom didn't get her surprise strawberries. I dont recommend
I have not ordered from this site on a couple of years. Knowing that the pandemic would slow delivery, I gave ample time for shipping. The berries were supposed to be delivered on a Friday. When the normal truck came through the neighborhood it did not stop at our address. Out of curiosity I checked the FedEx website for any update. The berries should have been sitting in the FedEx terminal the night before in Nashville. Imagine my surprise when I discovered my package was still in Illinois. Plus, I had paid $19.99 for the expedited shipping. Our plan was to head to the coast in the afternoon ahead of the impending inclement weather that was forecast for our area. So we left without any berries for my wife to enjoy on the drive down. As I was pouring my first cup of coffee this morning I receive an alert from FedEx. Guess what... the delivery is scheduled for today. I called the customer service number and explained the situation. I am not sure if they could have been more apathetic. I was told that they can deliver to my current location. That would have been acceptable except for the fact that I would have been home by the time they arrived at our hotel. Informed my neighbor that we are expecting the shipment today. Told her to enjoy the berries. This is last time for these clowns. Publix has been known to make these. So, here I come, Publix. I hope this is helpful. This used to be a great company. It is sad to see the degradation of their products and customer service.
Terrible Customer Service. Sent email confirmation with a totally different product than what I ordered. Then told me that the order could not be changed. To then say that they would give me a refund to only credit me back $20 in a future purchase then did not deliver my order. ORDER FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY!
I-am a first time customer if Shari's Berries.
I ordered chocolate covered strawberries as catalogued but the item chosen was not delivered. Instead of a fancy decorated chocolate berries a mundane brown choco dipped batch was sent. Bait and switch is illegal and also bad business tactic. Planning to report to the state's bbb
My 4 day story is a long one, but today they have gone back and forth with me via phone calls and social media messaging from 1:18pm to (so far) 7:18pm. Order not delivered. Have a bogus tracking number. Claimed the order needed to be cancelled due to purchase verification. Then, they have twice now transferred me to 1-800-flowers which I did not go through to begin with. Nobody in CS will give me a manager or anyone that speaks good enough English to understand the words out of my mouth. HORRIBLE COMPANY. Now I'm just fighting to get my money back due to zero fault of my own. It's been almost a year since I sent my last batch of Shari's Berries and even those were embarrassing to see my friend send me a picture of. Looked like a toddler handled the order. Never again will I contact them with the exception of getting my money back.
I had berries sent to me by an old boyfriend about 5 years ago. They we ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I have since gotten married and suggested I would like some Shari's Berries... so I received a DOZEN if them today. To my HORROR... YES. That is what they were! I was so shocked and disappointed! They were thawed... not frozen as in the past... they were WHITE inside... NO FLAVOR... The chocolate covering was so THIN and CHEAP tasting! I called Customer Service. Held for 20 minutes and hung up. I am so upset and disappointed and MAD! I will keep calling UNTIL I get someone to talk to! Whatever they have changed is NOT WORKING! All I can say is DONT BUY THESE BERRIES! HOPEFULLY I JUST GOT A BAD BATCH AND THEY WILL MAKE THIS RIGHT! IF SO... I WILL BE HAPPU TO WRITE ANOTHER REVIEW AND LET YOU KNOW! UNTIL THEN... DONT ORDER THESE... THEY ARE NOT CHEAP!
I have ordered these berries on & off for years. This time for valentines gift, ordered early to be sure they'd arrive on time. They day they were supposed to arrive has passed! I called, they told me will def be there next day, still didn't arrive to person I sent to. So disgusted, I will never order from this circus of a company again, ever! Also, the photo the advertise says a low price & once you tap on photo, the price way high to get the amount shown in photo. By the time the tax & delivery added, it's a small fortune w/terrible delivery service. Teleflora is connected to Sheri's Berries! Avoid ordering these berries & save yourself a headache & money! Zero stars!
I would give a no stars this company. Edibles and Edible Arrangements always delivers QUALITY. DO NOT ORDER FROM SHARI'S BERRIES! SEE PHOTO BELOW OF WHAT I PAID ALMOST $80 FOR. TERRIBLE! GOURMET DIPPED CHOCOLATES MY A$$! NOTHING like the advertising photos.
I was extremely embarrassed when my boyfriend opened up the box of Chocolate Covered Strawberries in front of loved ones. I'll let the picture say the rest. I will NEVER order anything from Sharri's Berries again!
The strawberries looked nothing like the photo and were definitely not worth the $60 that I paid. They were small, unripe and looked like a 5 year old decorated them.
They were a gift and I was so embarrassed when I saw the photo. When I called to request a refund the rep kept trying to get me to accept a redeliver but I wasn't willing to take another chance. They I was told that I could only receive a 50% refund. After much back and forth I was told that I would receive a full refund but it would take 1-2 billing cycles on my credit card. I will never order from here again.
Picture this:
You receive a box of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to your house on 2/12 (I'm assuming it will be delivered on time and that the quality will be fine? Remains to be seen. Based on these other reviews that's a brave assumption).
Then, you return to the office on Monday and find that there's a box of chocolate covered strawberries there as well, but they're rotting and clearly several days old.
Is this love? Is it a threat?
Well, this could be your confusing experience if you order from Shari's Berries!
Let's recap:
-Place order on 2/2, to be delivered 2/10
-Order does not arrive on 2/10
-Call that evening, they cancel the order and place a new one to be delivered to to the house, since the recipient works remotely the rest of the week
-The old order is delivered to the office a day late, to sit on the desk unrefrigerated and unopened until Monday, rotting
-Customer service suggests that you, a stranger on the phone, call and ask the office to throw out the package addressed to that person
-Claims the replacement order is still in transit but that yes the recipient now has fruit rotting on his desk until Monday
Happy Valentine's Day! This is why we can't have nice things.
How the things came 180. In recent years I received Saharis Berries and loved them. They were ripe, big beautifully adorned strawberries. This box was a sloppy, sad, under ripe and over priced sadness. I asked my husband not to waste his money on these again.
Shari berries I received were strawberry were so small wouldn't serve them to no one they were half covered and they left them in the sun no secure box. Some one could have walk up and open them. And the window of delivery is terrible. So I call and they said they would send me more, Never received them and I called back a couple days later." same thing", said they would send never got them. Would recommend them to no one
It would be great if you could call your 800 number and speak with someone that spoke English. Your care for the customer is the worst I have ever experienced. No one really cares. Bad service, I spent over 1 hour on the phone trying to get a problem worked out with no results. I will never order from your company again.
I thought it would be fun to send my friend some chocolate strawberries for her birthday. Mistake. Supposedly FedEx couldn't find her address do they will do it tomorrow. Do they have a perishable item rolling around So Calif got two days. What a pitiful gift that will end up being. Never again!
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
