It's become a tradition between my siblings and I to send chocolate covered strawberries to each other for the appropriate holidays. Sherries berries is our favorite company for that particular gift. The shipping is a bit pricey if only giving short notice however they always make it happen. The strawberries, both taste and presentation, are divine every time. Expect to spend a little money but you get what you pay for every last time!
Up until recently I loved this company. However, my last two orders were super late and not edible. Customer service is non existent. I have sent emails from my account and through paypal. I am very disappointed and have had to escalate a claim through PP to recover some of the $120 spent.
I went to submit an order and I accidentally submitted it three times. I realized my mistake after at most 2 minutes, so I e-mailed them right away asking to cancel two of the orders. They said it wasn't possible since my order already went through. The next day I tried live chatting with them to at least get a refund on two of the delivery fees since all three orders are getting delivered to the same address. A robot responded and when I was prompted to talk to a person I was just left waiting with no response from anybody. I will not be buying from this company again.
The berries arrived falling apart assuming it was because they were fermented. Oh and as a Mother's Day gift. Upon contacting I was offered new berries. No thank you. Next a gift certificate. No again. After insisting on a refund they agreed along with a $20 certificate for future order. Again I would never order.
I did not receive the refund as promised and have been on the line several times to get it. Still nothing. $65 for a horrible gift and still zero money. Very poor all across the board. Total waste of money!
I ordered 12 dipped strawberries for my mom with delivery scheduled for Tuesday, 11MAY21. Unfortunately, they were not delivered until Friday, 14MAY21. The ice pack was melted and the berries in a big disarray and spoiled! My mom has left a review already and was advised that I need to submit my review. At the least, I should receive a refund of the $69.53 for the purchase.

I recently purchased Shari Berries for my husband, he loves chocolate covered strawberries. I thought what a surprise for him to receive a Happy birthday wish on strawberries. First, strawberries delivered without ice pack—left on the steps in the sun. So of course they were melted and wilted-not to mention not what I ordered. Small strawberries, look old and leaves wilted-unedible. The birthday strawberries were also wilted, cracked and disheveled. Ruined birthday surprise to say the least. With the way the country is and Covid, how do you leave a box of strawberries unboxed. First pictures are the strawberries I received, last pictures are what they advertise you should receive. My last order. Never again. To say the least they did send me a 20.00 gift coupon which I will not use, and half of my money as refund. Expensive mistake.
I received chocolate covered strawberries and they were sweet and delicious and beautifully decorated.
Beware of conducting business with Shari's Berries. My first order arrived a day late and was spoiled to which their CS offered only a second order. That second order is now on track to be a day late as well. In my search to find a CS rep that can comprehend the situation I've been told that a 50% refund is the best they can do. Buyer beware.
I ordered Berries for my daughter's birthday to be delivered to her office the following day. When they were not delivered by mid-afternoon the next day I called the 800 number. The rep assured me they would be delivered, and even offered to deliver to her home address if they missed the end of business day that day. When they were not delivered by 9 pm I called again. I received an apology and was assured they would be delivered the following day. They were never delivered the following day either. I called again, received another apology and another offer to deliver the next day. At this point I gave up and requested a refund. Be aware that Sheri's Berries uses local florists to deliver and therefore they have no control of whether the deliveries go out or not. I finally asked the Shari's Berries rep if they had been in contact with the florist to find out what the problem was? She stated that she had sent the florist messages but they had not ever responded. I asked how they know the florist was even open? The rep said she could see that the florist was reading her messages, but was just not responding so they were probably just busy. I will not use Shari's Berries again.
The past two Mother's Day holiday I have ordered Shari's berries for a number of ladies in my life. Never again! My mother-n-love who was visiting with *******@Mother's Day was supposed to receive her berries at our house on Friday. Friday came and went and finally on Saturday afternoon I was chatting with customer service. They had transcribed the address wrong. They asked if May the 13th would be okay for a new delivery!?! Nope! So, their fix was to have them shipped to her house four days late! Oh, and it was their mistake, yet all we rec'd was a $20 gift card towards another order. The berries were half dipped... chocolate in the package and not on the berries and the berries were horrible! Chemical taste. I have spent a small fortune the past two holidays, but never again! Don't waste your money! Not worth it!
I ordered 12 chocolate covered strawberries for my wife and mom for Mother's Day. I placed the order May 4th, and one of their delivery options was for Saturday the 8th for an extra $14.99. I chose that option, paid the bill, into the works it went. By May 7th tracking showed it was still over 375 miles away. No tracking on May 8th the day the extra fee charge was suppose to have my order there. Order arrived May 11th. Chocolate was melting and Strawberries were runny. Sent pic to company asking why. Received reply back that my delivery date was not available anyway, and they were sorry about it arriving late. Called corporate, they confirmed delivery date was not available, I mentioned the extra charge for that date that they happily accepted from me, and Wendy from corporate said ya sorry. I said well you know that's fraud. You charged extra for a service, I paid, but you never intended to fulfill. Look up the definition of fraud, and you'll find it fits this scenario. Wendy's response, "well we didn't intent to." Of so that makes it all better. Problem is you charge how many people this extra fee, that people like me gladly paid for delivery, KNOWING ALL ALONG, they had no INTENTION of delivery on their obligation. This was my second attempt with them. First time, crash and burn, second time, crash and burn, so third time... not a $#*!ing chance! If you need chocolate strawberries or anything like, check the local businesses first. They will deliver, this place will just say oops sorry we will send more after it's too late. Rethink using this company. They have a poor business practice & and track mark of failure. Refer to FedEx tracking for this order in the attached pics.
Ordered berries for my mom and my sister for Mother's Day, and they were supposed to be delivered on Saturday. They finally arrived Sunday night around 7, and the packaging was soggy and the berries had fallen apart. Called customer service, and they sent replacements, to be delivered today. It is now 9:24 pm, and the order has not arrived. I'm not sure if this is a FedEx problem, or a Shari's berries problem, but it sure makes me look bad. I will order something locally in the future!

While I have ordered chocolate-covered strawberries from Shari's Berries many times over the years and have been satisfied with the quality, do NOT order flowers through them! I paid $92.80 (including a $9.99 service charge and $7.92 tax) for what looked like a gorgeous arrangement to send my mom for Mother's Day (see 1st picture below of advertised arrangement) and instead my mom got a sorry-looking bunch of flowers (see 2nd picture) I could have had my sister go to the grocery store and find a more attractive arrangement to give my mother for a fraction of what I was charged! Save your money and embarrassment by NOT ordering flowers from Shari's Berries!
Ordered for Mother's Day. My mom sent me a pic. They look like they've been beaten with a hammer. I called to get a refund and they said I could have 50% of my money back and a $20 off coupon. I will never but products from there again so I don't want a coupon. And my mom is eating 0% of the strawberries so I want want 100% of my money back. I fought with them on the phone, I fought with them on facebook, and I still have no confirmation email about any refund at all. It's freaking outrageous.
I couldnt be more disappointed with this company. First of all, there was no screen to review your order. You put in your info and boom you paid. I accidentally ordered the postcard shipping. I called and spoke to a pretty rude representative who guatenteed she canceled and refunded me the $29.99. After receiving no email i called the next day after waiting on hold for 45 minutes, the rep told me she canceled it but was only refunding half due to shipping costs. Didnt make sense to me since i had a shipping charge on the order regardless, but fine, ill pay the extra $14.99 on top of what i paid. The lady hung up on me! No refund email, no confirmation and no refund.
Customer service for this company was extremely lacking- and for what reason i will not be a repeat customer.
Now i get to sit on hold for another 45 minutes for another representative who clearly doesnt care when a customer is dissatisfied.
My mother's day gift to the women who gave me life looks like something my 5yo made. For the prices they charge for chocolate dipped fruit they should be ashamed of themselves! If she wasn't in a different state I would have made them my self. I reached out to company via their customer service chat that said they would reach out to me as well as emailing the company 3 days ago and still haven't received a response. There is definitely a reason why they won't let you upload pictures on the reviews on their page their presentation is horrible! I will not be doing business with them in the future.
I am (was) a long time customer of Shari's Berries as they were the perfect gift - always packaged well and delicious. However Shari's Berries was bought out by 1-800 Flowers. I just received Shari's Berries from my kids for Mother's Day and was so disappointed! The chocolate was melted and a few berries were so small that they rolled around so much they lost their chocolate coating. The ice packet was warm. I am so sad that my Go-To gift just got up and went! I will no longer be ordering Shari's Berries. To the original founder of Shari's Berries... Well done. You will be sorely missed.
Delivered molded strawberries for Mother's Day to my wife. Worst present I've ever given. Worst company in the country, in my opinion.
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
