Purchased a watch, which needed to be held at a FedEx location due to theft issues at my residence. PJ got wind of this after the hold order and stole the package after delivery. Package has allegedly been rerouted back to Austin, but FedEx has no record. PJ refuses to give me my $6k back until the watch is "returned" to them, despite it never leaving FedEx's possession.
Stay far away from this company. They're extraordinarily unprofessional and delusional.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible experience dealing with this company in an attempt to sell them a watch from my collection. At first it seemed like it would be an easy and smooth process and the price was established. The representative then changed the price twice and when I told him I need to think about it, he told me to pound sand. So if you want be treated poorly and look no further and give Bernard Watch a call or shoot them email.
The only positive that came out of this is that I never sent him my watch. I can only imagine him changing the price again and holding me hostage for the return of my watch if I did sell it to him. The term, "bait and switch" comes to mind... I was also able to sell my watch elsewhere for significantly more.
****3/21/23*** Bernard Watch published our personal business correspondence without my permission. They also did not publish the complete email chain where I responded telling them I do not consent and publishing any information would be a violation of my privacy and copyright. If they are looking for full disclosure, why would they have not published my response? This just goes to show the ethics of this company that are a concern to me.
Not much else to say. Well, I can also be pretty demanding when it comes to watches, price etc. These guys are great.

I ordered a silicone strap and deployant combination, for a Sinn watch, which I had purchased secondhand. The watch came with a Sinn compact deployant, which I found to be poorly designed. The compact deployant that came with the watch kept popping loose when one of the release buttons would come into contact with my wrist. I ended up purchasing the Sinn large deployant from Watch Buys, which solved this problem.

Although the watch is beautiful it arrived with the band assembled backward. I realize this is but an inconvenience but considering the thousands of dollars Ive spent with your company, the advice to just take it to a jeweler seems cavalier and inadequate

We do not perform repair services (warranty or otherwise) in-house, we send our watches out either to a large reputable service center or to the manufacturer directly depending on the brand of watch and the issue at hand. We will be happy to recommend an appropriate service center once we know more about the brand and the specific service needed.

We have been on the Internet since Summer of 1996 making us one of the oldest watch sellers on the web. Everyone of us has a passion for luxury watches and we enjoy discussing our inventory.
In order for a merchant to guarantee payment from a credit card company, we must ship to the billing address of the credit card and obtain proof of delivery (with signature). We shipped to the billing address and no signature could be obtained. We noticed the package being redirected to a Walgreens. This is a red flag for fraud and in fact, the very last watch that was stolen from us was stolen in this exact manner.
FedEx has been instructed to ignore unauthorized hold at location requests, however sometimes they fail to protect our packages. In our shipping emails we specifically ask buyers to contact us if any redirects are necessary.
We attempted to reach you by phone and were unable to do so (a final red flag). The package arrived at Walgreens and at that point we had to act to recall the package to avoid potentially losing the watch to a theft by fraud.
When you finally called us, the interaction might have been handled quite amicably and the package reshipped to the billing address.
However, as abusive and threatening as you were, that was not possible. Most buyers are understanding of the security needs involved in shipping high value items once it is explained and can bear (with a little disappointment) a small delay. Fraudsters on the other hand, tend to be demanding, trying threats and intimidation to get their loot before it is too late.
At the time I declined to refund the card, you were still actively attempting to obtain the package at Walgreens and the package had not yet been secured by FedEx.
The card used to place the order was refunded as soon as FedEx secured our watch.
