I have had a Bergner's store account for 30+ years. I like that it can be used in any of this group of department stores such as Carson Pirie Scott, Elder Bierman, the Boston Store, Bon-Ton, Younkers, and others. The same card can be used in any of their stores in any state. Over the years I have taken advantage of great promotions and sales for clothing, shoes, purses, outer wear, kitchen items and small appliances, bedding, etc. I have also purchased from their furniture galleries and had great experience with their furniture delivery and set up. In some cases they have even hauled away the old piece of furniture. Their furniture is on an extended pay when using the store csrd. Very satisfied customer.
I purchased a 3 piece sectional last fall. Upholstery fraying, backs stretch out that gives it a ripple effect. Cushion cord frayed. No kids, no animals, very seldom used, but they said it was normal wear. A rep came out and said he could take care of the backs and and they would send me a new cushion cover by mail. Now they are denying it. I purchased an extended warranty, talk about a wasting money.
