The Straps of the Handbag is Tearing! I just bought it in February! Tried to Return the Micheal Kors Handbag and the Manager had a Nasty Attitude and Very Prejudice! I paid my money on something that I can not wear! THIS IS A DISGRACE! 179.00 gone to Waste!

Belks closed my account due to rejected payment... when the PMT was returned it was due to previous fraudulent issues on my personal bank account where I pay my bills from... my bill was paid 5 days later but they still closed my account. When I called to address the issue they not once asked why the PMT was rejected they just said my account was closed. I spend a lot of money in BELKS and when the customer is calling to find out what happen you just say it's closed due to rejection of PMT... when the customer is trying to explain the issues and you don't listen it's is bad business.

If you are black do not shop at the Friendly Center Belk, they will watch you and treat you like $#*!. I'm a Superintendent at a company for 29 years I will never shop at another Belk and will pass it to everyone

Jewelry clerk

It is my birthday and my husband and I went into Belks in Hilton Head to buy a piece of jewelry. The clerk in there was very unhappy and snooty. She never smiled and acted like we were bothering her. We were not happy with her attitude

We're going to do some shopping at Belk store in Murrells Inlet in Myrtle Beach. The bathroom smell horrible. You could smell it in the area where the women clothes were. It not because someone used it. It smelled like it wasn't cleaned for days. When we smelt it we didn't do any shopping we turned around and left. This is my favorite place to shop.

Don't get me wrong I love the store and I love the clothes. They have an excellent selection of plus sizes. But as far as customer service goes don't hold your breath because you will find no one unless you walk all over the store to find somebody who's working at whatever register. I'm a disabled person it's hard for me to get around and I got so hot and exhausted mean in that store today just for about 45 minutes that I had to leave and I was not even done shopping. And that's because I had to go all over the store to find help to find out prices of stuff because nothing absolutely nothing but clothes have a price on them. I saw that 10 things that I wanted in housewares and I couldn't get them because there was nobody to ask how much they were and I was so exhausted by the end that I could not load them all in the buggy and then try to find somebody

I purchased a pair of shoes on belk.com. This was my first and LAST time shopping at belk. I received a size 12 shoe when I meant to order a size 8.5. When I contacted customer service via chat message I was informed that the order was in fact for a size 12 and as a result there was nothing that they could do for me except to refund my purchase after I sent back the wrong size shoe at my own expense. I understand that it "appears" as though the error was mine (still not sure about that one), however it is not as though I was off by half a size either way. Clearly any reasonable person would have seen that someone who wears a size 8.5 would not purposely order a size 12. Unfortunately, their customer service associates are likely given a script to follow and are not empowered to ensure that the customer is satisfied. Instead they simply regurgitate their refund policy and say they are sorry for the inconvenience. This is why American based businesses are going down the toilet, they do not know how to treat their customers. Instead of returning the shoes, I've opted to donate them to a local charity and NEVER shop belk again.

I have had no issues with product quality; however, be certain that your order is exactly what you want first go round because there is little to no grace period to cancel. I had an issue with size and contacted customer service less than an hour after purchasing to correct sizing. I was told I would have to return the items for a refund. What a hassle!

Bought this cookware set from Belk. First time I used the skillet on medium heat the inside and bottom burned up. The second time I used the pot the inside started peeling and got all over the food, which I threw out. The small pot I had to throw out because the same thing happened, the inside lining peeled and flaked and I had to throw it away. So disappointed that Belk would sell a product of such poor quality.

Poor Everything

I ordered 4 items, day by day one was out of stock so left me with 1 item. I would have had free shipping but was charged now. Contacted them and they said they would wave the shipping. Still waiting on that for my credit card 6 days. The flannel shirt I received is about see thru. Very poor quality and waiting for any shipment takes way too long. Never again!

Belks online delivery

I ordered a suit jacket and coat from Belk's online… the jacket came stuffed in a small box with no type of plastic wrapping. The jacket was so wrinkled. The pants were same exact way. I reached out to Belks and they did nothing!

My issue and case wasn't handled so after many attempts and over 9hrs of trying to get my order processed since October 27,2021 I finally had to write a review on Belks Customer Service and Belks Corporate because they cannot even answer a phone call. It's ashame that Belks has dropped off to one of the poorest stores for Customer Service. As a Business Owner myself I take pride in the quality of customer service and my customers do come first with the best in Customer Service given to them. I have been talking with my own customers about Belks and their experiences and your reviews are horrible. It's ashame that a company once ran by a family whom took pride in their business and customer service sold out and Belks has plundered since. The recent bankruptcy, store closings with more to come and a new CEO who can't take control and bring a once outstanding business back to just that... outstanding is so very sad.

I hate your company couldn't or wouldn't help me this is a disgrace.

From once a happy and loyal customer to now disappointed and going to see that not only my business but the business of others is taken to other retailers that will give us the customer service we were once given and still deserve today.

Disappointing

I'm a Belk cardholder. I would really love to support Belk but the fact of the matter is that nothing is ever available when I go to their site to order. Nothing I'm interested in is remotely close to being available within 50 miles of where I live. The site doesn't indicate where if at all that you can get what you want nor can you order it to be shipped. It's really disappointing. Almost as disappointing as H&M. I love both of these stores but the fact of the matter is that nothing is ever available that I'm interested in. Anything that I've purchased through Belk is also cheaply made. I've got several tops that I've purchased. All have snagged and all have come loose where the thread is sewn. I wonder where these clothes were made because the quality is very quickly put together for purchase just so the stores can get inventory on the floor. I love Belk, I really do, but I'm seeing that they are just an upscale Ross, Dress for Less or those other stores that sell brand for less.

I ordered a bottle of Armani on December 2nd and received confirmation it was in stock. This was the only item my son asked for Christmas and I live approximately 80 miles from a department store. I called Belk customer service on Monday December 20th because it had not been delivered nor did I receive any sort of communication on the status. I was transferred to a customer service "specialist" who told me he would take care of this and I would receive the Armani by Christmas. I called today, December 23rd and was told they did not know what happened to my order and would report this to Belk "Marketplace" but would not know anything for 3-5 days! I asked to speak to a supervisor who could have cared less of my situation and said she could not help me. I thanked her for nothing and hung up. I called the Belk department store in Pensacola to ask if I could pay for a bottle over the phone so my daughter could pick it up and she told me Belk no longer carries Armani. I have been a Belk customer and card holder for many, many years but no longer will I shop there. Worst customer service I've had with the exception of a order I placed with a horrible company in China!

Belk.com uses something called SmartPost with fedex. It only cost them around $0.50 per package to use and it takes your package between 2 and 3 weeks, minimum, to deliver. The site will consistently show you it's being delivered the next day, but it won't be here for at least another 2 weeks, per FedEx. According to fedex, that is the cheapest way to ship and it took about a week and a half just to get picked up from Belk. It's a nightmare!

Stay Away from Belk
December 15, 2021

Bought a perfume from them. Received an email saying it was shipped, and 17 days later it was still not delivered. The tracking number sent was invalid. When contacted them they said: oh, it is sent from a marketplace, go talk to them. Sorry there is nothing we can do. Stay away and save your money.

Trip to Belk Today
November 30, 2021

Where to start. We'll I can say that the lady checking me out was very pleasant. The cloths at the front of the store was pretty and organized but when I got back to the plus size section it looked like a bunch of people ripped everything off the rack and wiped the floors down and tried to hang it back up. I remember when this was a nice place to by business, fitness, casual for all sizes. It ne er looked this way before it moved.

First and last order. Companies like Belk will not survive mid to long term. No return policy and nobody picks up the phone in Customer Service. Learned my lesson and definitely will never buy from this vendor again.

I purchased a Napier stretch bracelet that came in good condition, but once I put it on, the bracelet was huge and stretch out so back it went! I should have read their return policy is on your dime. By the time I packed it back in the bubble wrap envelope and drive it to where they suggested to send it back. Do not go to UPS because they charge not only for the package, but a surcharge fee to take it to the rural return center. Riddicules! Back to Fed Ex which charge me $10 for a $! 5 bracelet. The post office is more with all their fees. I will never buy from Belk.Com again. Not even a pre-paid label does Belk provide. Go to Amazon for easy returns where you can go to your nearest Kohls store and hand it off to them to scan right away. Instantly, your refund is to your credit card before you get out the door. None of this nonsense of packing, writing your own label and paying high shipping fees! No wonder they declared bankruptcy this year, which I just read about.
