They gave you the $10 that you can not use. Just a joke. It says I have to earn $10 in cash back to be able to use the $10 bonus. Of course, if I earned cash back, I could use it. There is no such bonus sign up they promised and overall no trust. I am removing their extension.
We ordered a new tv online from bestbuy. We decided to use BeFrugal because it had a higher percentage rate. We used the APP to order the product to make sure it would work because it was a big purchase. Weeks later and there was nothing in the account, so we filed a ticket. We were told we don't have anything in our click history we so we are SOL. We even have screenshots showing that we ordered it through the app. Horrible customer service. Next time I will use ebates, we have never had an issue with them.
Hi Leah, we did a thorough search in the system to find any record of the purchase - there was no click history evident, and no sale reported from the retailer. We always attempt to track down an order to the best of our ability when cash back is not reported. BeFrugal almost always give more cash back than other sites like Ebates or Ibotta. They offer better options on how and when you receive your money as well. Here you have the option to get more money for if you exchange for certain gift card, you also get the option to deposit directly into your Paypal. And the wait time to receive your money is much less as well. You get an exact date of when your money will be available and can choose when you want to cash out. There are so many stores to shop from, I highly recommend Befrugal. Having said that my one issue is when using the Befrugal app on your phone that if you hit the back button it kicks you out and even if you click back in you have a chance of loosing your rebate. (That's happened to me twice) But still handsdown best cash back site around!
Best cash back site ever. I can count on them & not have to watchdog & track every order to make sure they are being honest. I know what to expect. I love the payout schedule, don't have to wait 3 months like other sites for my $. They make it easy & completely worth it. Their payout is excellent. I shop online ALOT & will always use this site. I done like I always do when shopping at home depot by activating my cash back on BeFrugal and it is funny that all has worked until I had a big ticket item. All my other orders at home depot for 50 cents or a dollar have worked fine. Lost 29.97 cash back on this one.

BeFrugal advertised better cashback rates than eBates so gave them a try with a Holiday Inn hotel stay booking. A month later, no cashback, so I contact customer support, which just responded by saying disputes are not allowed. Had I gone with eBates, this would have been cashback worth hundreds of dollars! Never using BeFrugal again. Stay away from this site!

Secondly, when you say "disputes are not allowed" you may be referencing the following Holiday Inn terms: "At time of booking, you should see a reservation record posted, showing no cash back. If the reservation record is not found within your account after 7 days, the booking did not track through the BeFrugal, and IHG will not be awarding cash back. We cannot submit disputes in this scenario." This is an IHG/Holiday Inn policy, and one that we don't have any control over. I've used BeFrugal for several years. They have consistently beaten all the other rebate sites for % back. My only gripe, & it looks like this may've changed recently, is that it takes forever to get your rebate check. I just requested payment & see that the site says I'll get my rebate within ten days! WooHoo! We'll see how it goes.
I signed up in November, 2017 and it appears I made a huge mistake! I have log on to their site and then went to the stores I wanted to make purchases. After a week's of shopping I log on to check my account, sadly I didn't see many of my purchases(only 3 were listed). I tried to contact the company by phone, but had not luck. I completed online request for help, but only received standard replies that didn't address my issues. After I finally received a real response, it only addressed one of the issues. I fill a number of requests showing the dates an amounts of my purchases, only to be told I needed to submit the confirmation email for the companies. I explained that I don't keep confirmation emails after I have the products! I'm back to Ebates!
Even though the website looks a little sketchy, it actually works every time and almost on all websites. The thing I like the most is the frictionless activation experience like no other through the extension. Recommended
If you follow the directions and all the fine print, it does work. You have to be sure you are using the links provided on the BeFrugal website. I got $42 back and a free Apple Tv using the Direct TV promotion. I'd don't shop much online, but I'll definitely check be frugal before I do!
I have been using Befrugal for years and have always received cash back for purchases. I would recommend to everyone. Why not get paid for shopping?! My only issue is that once your cash back is confirmed and you request payment, it takes a while to get it into your account, but hey, technically this is extra money!

I've been doing online shopping since 1989. In the beginning of the www.I received 100's of free items in promotions. Then they started the cash back programs. I started at 2 other sites before I found BeFrugal. Overall they pay a higher percentage; an average of 2% to 6% at the stores I shop the most. I've been lucky(and did my research) to get 28% and twice I hit the 50% cash back. I love to shop! I now do most of my charity work shopping online for shelters and group homes. I'm using my own money and they are amazed at the super deals I get plus getting the cash back. At some of the sites I use, I can donate my cash back, points and other rewards directly to a list of charities registered at the sites. I'm in the process of setting up shop to teach the local charities how to do all this and more so they can take a $5.00 donation and buy at least $20 to $60 worth of goods. I signed up because they offered a $10.00 sign up bonus. The problem: You must get at lease $10.00 cash back in your balance from stores b-4 they give you that. I did. They have been holding on to a cash back from Petco since Oct. 2018. They promise cashback will show in 3 months. This has been way over that. That amount puts me over the $10.00 required, so this is very suspicious. Horrible place! Do not sign up. Stick with Ebates.

I have used BeFrugal for about a month making at least 4 purchases and have been waiting for them to hit my account/ so I finally opened a ticket on each purchase and they flat denied a couple of them and are requesting the same info over and over on the others!
Bottom line, they only offer higher percentages because they aren't actually gonna pay them anyway! Stick w Ebates!
Hi Karen, I'm sorry to hear you are unhappy with your BeFrugal experience so far. We absolutely pay our customers the cash back they earn when shopping. Occasionally, cash back requests are denied from the retailer, and we will submit an inquiry to find out why. If they tell us that the transaction was not eligible, then we are unable to issue cash back. There are different reasons for why this can happen - the FAQ page on our website lists a lot of helpful information.
Signed up last week and purchased online for a few thousand dollars (should have gotten a cash back of approx $200). A few days later I could not log in to my account and was told that they deactivated my account for violating terms and conditions. Customer service refused to provide more information on why and how I was violating their terms - simply put, they did not want to pay out the cash back so decided to close the account. What a scam! Shoppers avoid at all cause!

These guys are great! Many cash back sites offer great % cash back then never pay. BeFrugal offers more modest cash back percentages but works very hard to pay you in a timely manner and keep an accurate tally of what you are owed.

I have been using Befrugal for a few years now and they are one of my favorite cash back websites. Lots of payback options and you don't have to wait months like some of the other options or have a huge minimum amount to be eligible. They also do higher cashback on many popular websites including Amazon.
