Even if other cashback places have lower rates, there is a much better chance you'll at least get something.
Update after their "response": Typical generic response I've received from their customer service people. What they can never seem to answer is why sites like eBates (and I use several others in addition) don't have nearly as many untracked and/or denied purchases. Their business practice is pretty simple... the answer to why you didn't receive your cash back is always that you did something wrong, something is wrong with your browser, etc. If that is truly the explanation that their tech is way behind because the other cashback sites have a small fraction of the issues BeFrugal does. I had an Expedia purchase that was supposed to have generated $50+ back. It sat being "investigated" by them for an entire year. Believe me, they try to keep every last cent if at all possible. Use other more reputable sites.

I had a number of clicks that did not credit between November and January of this year. After filing multiple cases, having click history, order ID# and valid proof of emails forwarded, they refused to credit me. It was a significant amount - nearly $100. Don't believe their rates - they DON'T pay out. Their website rarely works and I have been disrespected by the staff many times and insulted. Also, IF YOU USE BEFRUGAL, YOU WILL GET CREDIT CARD FRAUD.
I still HAVE NOT BEEN PAID. They owe me over $150 and refuse to payout. AWFUL company. Use SimplyBestCoupons - I've had great luck with them.

The BeFrugal web site says that there is an exception for Travel Cash Back. The exception says to contact BeFrugal if it has taken more than 60 days. I did just that because my hotel stay did not show the cash back, and was told that since it was more than 60 days, it was too late. This is the language on the site:
"All Missing Cash Back Inquiries must be made within 60 days of the purchase date. We are unable to start an investigation with a retailer once 60 days have passed from the order date. Please note that Travel Cash Back can be an exception to this rule. Read more about Travel Cash Back."
When you click the link to read more, it says:
"Within 60 days after the trip was completed, either the original travel record will get updated with the Cash Back amount or a second record will appear in your account reflecting the Cash Back amount. If more than 60 days has passed since the completion of your travel and you do not see a Cash Back credit in your account, please submit a Cash Back Inquiry."
I did just that and they said nothing can be done since more than 60 days. Completely misleading.

I LOVE BeFrugal! I used to be a part of rakutan but once i found these guys, i deleted my account. They'd never pay on things they were supposed to & gave me grief always. BE FRUGAL IS SO MUCH MUCH BETTER! I have NEVER had a complaint about them. People that complain obviously don't get the whole gist of cashback sites. Ignore them. THIS IS A DEFINITE 200 STAR RATING!
Made my first purchase with the site link and was supposed to get ~$10 back. The purchase was not automatically processed but after a week I notified them and provided my ticket and receipt of purchase. They quickly credited my account which was great but removed it a day later claiming that the purchase site had no record of the ticket and I must have messed up. First off, i have my receipt and the befrugal ticket generated in their system. Secondly, I have been using ebates since 1999 so I know how this deal works. Instead of siding with the customer (me) and honoring their side of the deal they have instead taken my $10 referral. I would highly suggest just signing up for the bonus then not using this site for purchases for large purchases unless you like to gamble. Their general "you messed up" claim can be used anytime they don't want to pay us. I have a feeling that they pocket the higher bonuses. Again, I provided objective evident of my purchase and their generated ticket. I would expect they pay me and work with the site for their payment. Instead they blame me the customer.
It's great for Amazon shoppers in particular. Around the holidays you'll find as high as 10% cashback at Amazon, and other merchants too. I use Befrugal for about 95% of my cashback shopping.

Much like others I used BeFrugal cashback over other sites on Black Friday for what was supposed to be 11% cashback. Amazingly, the shopping trip never made it to my account. "Todd" from BeFrugal tells me that I either wasn't logged in or never activated the cashback. The problem with that is that since I don't trust any of these sites I screenshot all of my purchases with banner stating that cashback was activated. I've told this to "Todd", but he refuses to give me a way to provide this physical evidence. 11% of a $200 order = $0 when you use BeFrugal
I also have another investigation for almost $90 cash back that has been pending for a year. I continue to request updates, but get none. "Todd" just tells me that the company hasn't responded so they can't give me any updates. The shopping trip is in my account and I can prove that the full order went through and the full amount has been paid, however they will not let me provide any evidence and are just accepting that the company hasn't responded and tells me this will be the status until they respond
Amazing how the little cashbacks of a few dollars here and there are never an issue, but as soon as I have the possibility for some substantial cashback, there's always an issue. Ebates/Rakuten cashback is less but at least you get that cashback.

Answer: I had $38.24 coming back to me that I had to wait forever to get. And never got it. It finally became payable, I went to claim it, and befrugal blocked me from doing so. All the cash back disappeared. After that clicking on payments generated a 404 page. This is ridiculous. Whether it's a problem with their system or some other issue I don't know. But it really feels like they scammed me out of cash back. They won't let me log into my account now. I tried to reset my password and they won't let me do that either. A word from the wiser - Use Rakuten - they are 10 times more trustworthy than this thing. They also pay you regularly. BeFrugal is a Total scam! I read another review on Trustpilot where it says they will deactivate your account if they don't want to pay you. That's exactly what it looks like they did to me. Unbelievable.
