Pathetic site. Deactivates the account with any reason and doesn't reply to tickets or give reason for deactivation. Never used referral or gave referral to anyone, only have one account.
Deactivated the account as soon as I cashed out via bank transfer.
They'll just copy paste that you violated a policy and would stop responding the moment you ask for which policy was violated. Same is the case for live chat. Doesn't respond you once you start asking questions.
Just go for topcashback or rakuten. Avoid befrugal.
Update: approx 20 days and still not responding. Raised multiple tickets. That tells how pathetic they are.
I have personally used this site and can say that its no where ebates which I have been using mostly. I already had couple of instances when no cashback was provided to me for no justified reason. And that was after following 100 rules this site has set for you to be eligible for cashback.
Offers new customer sign up and referral bonuses. Has competitive cashback rates and offers multiple ways to cash out your balance. I have not had to deal with missing cashback so I am not familiar with customer service. Otherwise, recommend checking out for yourself.
It takes some time to get your $$ back but the cashback %%% is better than other places so it is worth the wait. Make sure you don't have other cashback websites open or you will not get your cashback purchase approved by Be Frugal.

I've used other cashback sites that are flakey, but befrugal consistently offers the best rates (or near the best rates) and I've never had any issues with it. It shows you right away when you place an order through it and you can track it through to confirmation. Payment is easy to request (although I had a little difficulty requesting payment through the form I wanted from a mobile browser), and they give you bonus money when you request an amazon gift card, which is as good as cash for me. I'm very happy, and will continue to use them.
I have been using Befrugal and their support is awesome. Not like any cashback sites, which advertise higher cashback bonus and don't back it up. Never had any issues with Befrugal. I highly recommend Befrugal.
It just stays as pending until you ask about it then they tell you that YOU have clicked on the link wrong and it was declined. Don't bother and stick with Rakuten. Customer service was also rude and was quick to dismiss me and HAPPY to cancel my account when I was unhappy rather than address the issue

In most cases, they will acknowledge a pending cash back within the first 7 days of when the purchase was made. We provide the Missing Cash Back ticket, in the case that they do not acknowledge the pending cash back. If they decline, the will provide a reason for it, which you are more than welcome to as for. When the Retailer acknowledges a Cash Back, they have given us an estimated time frame of Up to 90 days for cash back to go from Verified to Payable. Cash Back is based on commissions BeFrugal receives from the store. If BeFrugal does not receive commissions for orders placed directly with the store, we cannot give you cash back. Too rude and too many requests for information. When it's time to pay cashback, First they ask phone number then they send a big email asking for name address and everything then they ask to provide proof of purchase. Too much of a hassle. Then they suspend the account citing violation for no reason
They show they pay out a little higher than eBates but then BeFrugal doesn't actually credit the shopping trips. Nothing for Amazon (almost $200 household/kitchen items should have cash back); Walmart shows estimated payment date of February 22,201 for a purchase made in Nov 2018?
Really disappointed because I could've had such a nice payout from eBates for the money I've spent this month and wasted using BeFrugal.
This site is amazing. Just buy the stuff you want and then WOW free money. For the complainers out there. PAY ATTENTION! The cash back is not 100% on every site. This site gets paid to bring you to the sites and sell the products they are trying to sell. Wants points for AMAZON every time you shop get an AMAZON card. Then when you do shop and it's a payback category the its a double bonus! Just download the tool bar and it does rest. If you go to the site you know ahead of time what the bonus is and for what.
How does this site work. The cuopons offered seem to be inoperable. No one is on the chat line either. It's really dissappointing, indeed. They need to simplify this site radically, otherwise honey and wikibuy are far more user friendly, indeed.
Very pleased with BeFrugal - when you do what you are supposed to, everything works smoothly. The rare time there might be a problem, their customer service people get on it and straighten things out. I do a LOT of shopping online and this is the ONLY way to shop. In all honesty, I go between BeFrugal and Ebates, but I find that BeFrugal often gives the better cash back deal.
I made purchase through Befrugal.com to get my shopping rebate. After success finished the purchase 2 month later. I should get paid $397.77 from Befrugal for shopping rebates. When I try to claim my rebates. Your customer service told me they need to verify my identity. I submitted all the information they need. They finally closed my account and refuse to pay me! Just because I registered an other account on Befrugal.com. I told the customer service that I just need one account and you could close the account I won't use. But they closed both my accounts and prevent me to login. I just want my $397.77 shopping rebate. I made the orders through your link. I deserve to get the shopping rebate! If you don't do anything, I have to file a case on BBB.org and fight for my rights in my ways.
BeFrugal has been an awesome program. I received my first payment, but it took a good 3 months for the purchases to mature. I use a lot of other cashback programs depending on who has the highest percentage for a given store, but BeFrugal is the top cashback about 80% of the time. If you can wait 3 months for payout, i wholey heartedly recomend BeFrugal.com as a very legit cash back program. Thank you!

I love being rewarded and buying through Befrugal pays, it's fun and rewarding at the same time, plus it gives options for purchases and above all how to use the points earned.
It is a hit or miss. If it is a miss, don't bother with customer service cause it will just be a blame game shielded by generic post about their ToS. Plus, most responses are just copy paste scripts anyway too.
Trying to change your email address (6 months of trying) still nothing. Have been stiffed on cash back on purchases, and have to request cash back instead of places like Coupon Cabin which does this automatically.
This is amazing. At the beginning I though it was a joke. Then I had problems with my purchases. I contacted customer service and I did my tickets and at the end my money was given back to me. Its awesome. I recomend trying it.
Some sites terms are not clearly listed, and my cashback gets stuck. Other than that great cashback website. Make sure adblocker is totally off, and read the terms listed on befrugal for each site. Still, my cashback is stuck in few places, but most process. I don't like that it takes too long to validate and all that before I can see it reedamable
