I guess Been Verified is good for someone that's just trying to have fun but for some one with real concerns about a new boyfriend or guest in their home it could actually be dangerous. Out of curiosity I checked on someone in the neighborhood that I know for a fact is a convicted child molester and the info came back showing a felony but not a detail about the crime. Then I checked on the same person from a list of sex offenders in the area and he was there.
I then checked on two more people I know of being convicted felons and got no results.
If safety is important think twice about using Been Verified.
I have checked out other companies on a free trial and was unhappy. I used myself to verify accuracy. Been Verified is the only site that gave me immediate results and completely accurate. I actually found some items that should be corrected. Great service, easy cancellation. If/when I need this type of service again BeenVerified is the ONLY site I will use. Highly recommend!
I was able to find a contractor who had disappeared with a large deposit for work not even started. Several home addresses, email addresses, family member contact info, etc. were all part of that report that I was interested in. The service is very reasonably priced, and the staff is responsive.
On your end, it took a little bit of work. However, Carla liaised with your Data Team, kept me up-to-date via email and ultimately completed the task. Carla ensured I was in the loop until it was completed to my satisfaction and I think she did an excellent job, (excellent customer service skills and operational knowledge level). Thanks again!

For the last 20 years or so, I have been the "class detective" for my high school class reunions. I have subscribed to a half dozen people search sites over the years. In my opinion, Been Verified is by far the best!
I've just finished updating contact info for our 400 alumni (whew)!. With so many class members, this was no small feat. Thanks to the accurate information at Been Verified, our committee will now be able to let more alumni know about the upcoming reunion we are planning for next year.
I plan to update alumni data on a yearly basis and have no doubt that I will do so next time through the Been Verified site.

I have had a little trouble updating my card. I had received a notice and immediately go it on it however something didn't take right. I emailed with them my concerns and you know they were so nice and their courtesy as well as understanding what the problem was and actually helped me get the darn thing updated. A big thank you to the staff at been verified. I truly enjoy using this site to check on addresses, date and animal / house sitters. Thankyou to the staff for understanding my disability, as I do suffer from a traumatic brain injury which leaves me in a memory fog. I recently met someone on eHarmony and used been verified to confirm their identity and to check them out. We are still involved and looks good for the future. I would highly recommend the site especially for anyone who is doing online dating. I also used this site to find out about some con artist that had contacted me through Christian mingle. Well worth the money.
After conducting a self background check on Been Verified, I found extremely erroneous information including an arrest record that does not pertain to me and addresses where I never lived. Yet on the website it said that the information was "highly likely". After a call to their customer service number I was informed that Been Verified simply gathers information and does not verify the information collected about individuals. I replied that the name "Been Verified" seems extremely misleading - no comment from the customer service rep. It is possible and fairly simple however to opt out of their system and have your data completely removed from their database. It takes approx. 24 hours for this to occur and I highly recommend taking this step.

I'm sorry to hear you found inaccurate information in your report. Without additional information I wouldn't be able to locate your account and speak to any issues with your particular report. In the Criminal section of the report, minor incidents can be included by the county when they aggregate their court record data, including traffic incidents and minor infractions. When a Criminal record matches information for the subject of the report, it will be labeled 'Likely.'
We are dependent upon the accuracy of public records, and as you experienced, sometimes public records are not 100% accurate or up to date. We constantly update our database to provide the most current and accurate information we possibly can. We offer the ability to opt out your listing when you are especially concerned with information you have found in your report. I am glad to hear you were able to take advantage of this option.

This site was supposed to be $1 for a 2 day trial, actually I know I'm getting charged $30 and again the following month another $30 such BS didn't give me what I was looking for Don't waste your time and money.

Paid one month to find someone for a legal matter. I got the person's name and 3 cheesy pictures I could get from google for free. The rest: "address not found"; "phone number not found"; relatives not found" etc. they WILL dig deeper if you UPGRADE your membership i. E. Spend more money to find out they've got nothing on the person. Run, don't walk!

BeenVerified's database contains information collected from public records and publicly available data, compiled from thousands of different sources. Your ability to locate a specific individual in our database can be dependent on a number of factors, such as the amount of information collected on that individual by various government and private agencies, and the laws regarding public information in the state where the individual resides.
If you are unable to locate a particular individual in our database, please know that we continuously strive to update and expand our databases in order to provide you with the most current and accurate information we possibly can.
Our Upgrade option allows you to unlock all sections of the report, to return any additional data we have in the judgments, liens, license and permit categories of the report for that individual, as well as additional phone data we may have for this person. Don't be fooled. If you really want a background check performed go to a credible firm. This company's data quality is flat out garbage. They don't verify or update the data they collect, and this will put any legitimate person or business at risk of litigation for any adverse action taken on the basis of this crappy website.

I had a problem with BeenVerified billing. I did not notice that I had been charged on my credit card improperly for 3 months. When I discovered this I sent the company an email explaining what happened and asked for a refund. In less then 48 hrs. It was fixed and the charges reversed. What a breath of fresh air. I expected all sorts of hassles.

I needed to use this service for only a month. When it came tie to cancel my subscription, customer service was very efficient, responding to my email request almost immediately and even offered me one more background check as a gift.
I have seen this company "ad" many times on Yahoo. I was reluctant to 'click' because many of these advertisers 'suck you in' and make your life miserable, trying to STOP their service, once you subscribe. That was not the case with 'beenverified', I think. I will reserve FINAL judgement until my subscription would have 'self renewed'. We will see...

If you open up their site, you will think what you are doing is free, but what you don't know is by doing so you some how have agreed to pay them using PayPal. It with a monthly reoccurring payment. The payment is set up to be paid early in the morning hours and you wont notice the notification of PayPal's payment going through and it happens every month until you catch the of $13.44. It cost me $26.88 to learn my lesson... don't be schooled by BeenVerified!
I needed the one month subscription and no more. Typically, it takes many emails, phone calls and a lot of frustration to get through to a company and almost always results in more than one months charge.
