I ordered something online. The store canceled my order. Still have received my $$ back. Never order anything one from this store.

Since the last time I returned something to Bed Bath and Beyond their policy has really changed for the worse as far as customer service is concerned. I had bought a CRUX coffee machine 60 days prior to it failing. I brought it back with the receipt 2 days later with the belief the store would readily take it back. NO WAY! Cashier said my return was late. Manager had the same determination. He gave me CURX's phone # and told me to deal with it. These people are getting paid to spend their time dealing with these companies whose products they represent, but I, the customer, was sent home to do this job, which took hours of my time, which as a senior is precious. Despite my limited time I felt there was more I had to do - to call out the store and the product. The BBY manager, it turned out, gave me the # for his headquarters rather than CRUX's, which took some time to find. When I got to them, I asked where they were located and was told Canada but ultimately found out their coffee maker was a Chinese product. When I asked for a return shipping label they said they didn't want the coffee pot back. This was actually a piece of garbage that would become part of a landfill as many of these products had and will. One of CRUX's websites has product reviews, many of them coinciding with mine. I wish I had read them before the purchase and knew that Bed Bath had become so customer unfriendly since the last time I returned something when it was a great experience. Well, that's the last time I'll buy anything there. I subsequently bought a Cuisineart coffee maker for 1/2 the price Bed Bath was selling it for at Costco.
After ordering a bed from Bed Bath & Beyond, I had selected the nearest store in my area to shop from, bought a bed and requested it to be delivered. After two days I got an email and it stated the bed was coming from California, I was upset knowing I had to wait longer but was also confused because I chose my nearest location to shop from. Since then I have been waiting almost four weeks for this bed to be delivered, after calling every day, I had been promised a refund and also the manufacturer to send out another bed. Since then, I have only been given 59$ out of the 259$ purchase I made. Currently 7/12/20 I still do not have my bed nor a refund, I have requested Devan to pick it up from Fedex a week ago and there has been no status update on this lost item. This is devastating and all the confusion is based off one simple misunderstanding on their site, I THOUGHtT I WAS SHOPPING AT THE LOCAL STORE. I specifically changed the settings to get results in my locals store and I was scammed on a bed purchase without a bed.
I recently purchased something from Bed Bath and Beyond online very fast shipping can't complain would recommend

Long Wait Times And When You Finally Get A Person There Totally Useless. Will Never Shop There Again.
Ordered 3 8in.cake pans on the 12/10 and expected to receive by end of week and this is 12/22.Apparently after 2 hours of phone work on 12/19 I found out thru USPS that the shipping label was damaged and package was never scanned for delivery. I called BB&B on12/19 and explained the problem. First person without loooking at shipping history said computer says it will be delivered today disregarding my information. Called a second time and this person was helpful and after checking said they would reorder and ship it overnight and get an email confirmation the next day which I was pleased. No email came and no package by12/22 so I called again and was told computer says its being delivered today.I went thru what USPS told again and she said they would reorder it again and I asked why this wasn't done on Monday and she said they were waiting on me to call back to tell them it did not come on Monday. THIS WAS NEVER SAID TO ME TO DO and if I hadn't called back I would still be waiting. So much for the special cake for Christmas.
I like the stuff in this store but I find them to be a bit too expensive.
I have 500 expired coupons and they take them anyway. I really enjoy that about the store.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I purchased an item from them over 2 months ago. (Today is January 12,2024.) Purchase made in November. Upon receipt of the item, I decided to return the item. I went to BB&B's website to do the return and found out -- SURPRISE -- my purchase was through a third-party vendor. This means BB&B did not sell me the item but some company that BB&B allows on the website sold to me. BB&B put me in touch with the vendor. I sent the vendor an email. They sent me a return shipping label. I promptly and timely shipped the item back (the same day I received the label). The item was received at BB&B's warehouse. I waited for my refund which never showed up. I called and emailed the third-party vendor MANY MULTIPLE TIMES and they ignored me. So I contacted BB&B and they gave me the runaround for weeks. At one point, a regular employee over there PRETENDED TO BE A SUPERVISOR to handle my case. She lied to me over and over again. She promised to call me back in 2 days and never called back. I called again and I got a REAL SUPERVISOR who looked into the matter and he discovered that an employee over there took my call pretending to be a supervisor, which is how I found out. BED BATH & BEYOND LITERALLY REFUSES TO PUSH A BUTTON TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. Instead, they have been holding me hostage for over 6 weeks trying to figure out what to do with a third-party vendor who DISAPPEARED all the while they have in their own warehouse the item that I returned. The supervisor told me, "I see that you returned the item and it is in our warehouse." To which I said, "Well, since you have it in your possession, give me my money back." Supervisor said, "I can't do that. We have to follow protocol." WTAF? BUYERS BEWARE! IF YOU SHOP BED BATH & BEYOND, YOU MAY FIND YOURSELVES BENDING OVER AND SCREAMING ALL WITH AN EMPTY HAND...GOOD LUCK TO YOU!
I ordered the Novogratz Collection Brittany Futon on October 9th and received an email with receipt and a thank you for my order. Estimated delivery time was from Oct 16-23rd. Being that I never received a follow up email like most sites (including Amazon and Wayfair) do, telling me that my item had been shipped, I decided to call in. When I tried that, I was offered to chat, so I did. And my response was simply the following: " We're sorry your order has been cancelled. You were not charged for the canceled items unless you paid with a Gift Card or Merch Credit. In that case, a refund will post to your My Funds account within 48 hours. How else can I help you?" Can you believe this? I was supposed to possibly receive my sofa today. I was COUNTING on this delivery to be received TODAY or during the week at the latest and now I have nothing! I demanded to speak to a supervisor and although, I did eventually get a call back from Jack who was a nice person, he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that would make me want to continue to be a Bed Bath & Beyond customer. The inconvenience that this has caused me is a really big one. I had a house warming party the following weekend and now I have no living room sofa. I have to find a whole new sofa with a reliable company and it will take more time to receive. Or end up much more expensive if I have to pay for a rush delivery. Do NOT buy online with Bed Bath & Beyond if you don't want your item to be canceled without notification or good reason: my credit card is in perfect standing and all payments are going through without any issue with other vendors. The issue had nothing to do with me. This review will be posted in all major review platforms on the internet. I wouldn't want this to happen to someone else if I can help it.

There seems to be no probelm with ordering one or two items on-line, BUT - for God's sake don't try to order three items at the same time - the order goes to hell quickly - they will process the 1st - two item without any problems, the 3rd item for some damm reason always creates an issue - either - they no longer suddenly don't have it, pricing is wrong on it, otr you muct come to the store to pick it up - no problem shipping the other 2 items - just not that 3rd item - the whole on-line experience IS to have it SHIPPED to your home so you don't have to go to the damm store to pick it up! Next, try to cancel out the 3rd item that they can't ship to your home and you will spend a good 1/2 hour talking to customer service about it - and anotehr 1/2 hour trying to correctly correct the billing amount after removing the 3rd item. This has happened a number of times - I don't understand why they can't comprehend an order beyond 2 items. TOTALLY screwed up on-line site. I'm no longer a customer of BBB - screw them!

Answer: How can you share a success story when you hold on three separate phone calls for an excess of 16 hours to resolve a refund issue where you are not able to make contact through email because of a shortage of employees yet you are told that you exceeded the 15-minute window? I have been waiting for my refund since the 13th of August and I have yet to receive it
Answer: Bed Bath & Beyond is a scam! They took my money and NEVER sent my order and won't give me a refund! The worste online shopping experience I have ever had!
