No communication apart from 'we'll send order soon, sorry its late. ' to then just sending a refund a month later which I had to check up with PayPal to see what it was for as I had received no email. I previously had good service from beauty bay so it's disappointing that it's like this now.
BeautyBay was the most unprofessional shopping site I've experienced so far. I am waiting for my order to arrive still, even after 1 month has already passed and I have been given 6-10 days. They are not doing a thing about it, not even taking the time for reading my complaints. Unfortunately, I have chosen the No Tracking Shipment option, so they are not even able to provide a tracking number, a thing which I haven't seen on any other site. I find their customer service very poor, with no consideration for the client at all. Of course, I wouldn't recommend ordering from this site if you don't want to take the chance of wasting lots of time and nerves on their lack of respect for their customers. This is the first time I am writing a negative review, as I really think people should know about it in order to avoid having the same bad experience.
Awful company, the fact you cant actually ring and speak to anyone means if there is a problem (like i had) it doesn't get resolved and takes hours/days to get an online response which wasn't helpful at all. They show online there is a customer service line yet if you ring it its a recorded response saying to visit the website and fill in online form. The fact that Hermes delivers does not help as they are just as bad and obviously stole or mis-delivered my parcel ( so i never got it)! All beauty bay replied after telling me they would look into it and speak to driver was it was delivered through gates (which was on my delivery email anyway!) Dont waste your money on this company as you'll end up spending hours stressing and trying to communicate with them and them pushing you aside. Such a joke!
Not only that, but when i finally recieved the refund, the item arrived few days later as well. You would think BB would offer a discount along with the apology, right? Nope. They want their 30 euros back. Horrible customer service and a horrible company. Stay away
Ordered from BB. Ive been waiting for over a month to receive my order. Still nothing. Filed a lost claim. They indicated that I should fill out a lost claims form and submit it back to them. The caveat? The PDF form doesn't even open so I can't even print it off! To submit. Its a total scam.
UPDATE... BB did provide a refund for the lost goods. In saying that, for the hassle involved I would still AVOID!
I ordered 3 products in late February of 2020. Due to the current shipping circumstances of the pandemic, I gave Beauty bay an excessive amount of time to send my order, and I was very understanding of the delay. However, when emailing in my disappointment of still not receiving my order, I was told there was nothing they could do, and I would not be refunded. For such a 'reputable' site I am severely angered by their service, lack of clarity and overall treatment.
Speaking as an Australian consumer, my biggest peeve with this company would have to be the standard in which Beauty Bay packs their deliveries. I can only speak on my own experiences, but I would be very grateful to, for once, receive a package that hasn't been horribly damaged during it's commute. I understand that there is not much a company can do for a package once it's left the warehouse, but measures such as: wrapping fragile glass items in hex wrap, or using packaging filler to fill empty spaces in the shipping box -- would go a long way in providing added protection to the packages being sent out.
They deduct the money from the card and then ask for custom duties which is ten times higher than the actual amount to proceed with the shipment. Didn't know it was such a fraud company. Stay away from the fraud site.
Until now my package hasn't arrive! I contacted them several times and they don't even bother to reply. I needed the product and I asked for express shipping but the events are done already and they didn't deliver it still! Unbelievable!
This website doesn't have 'Cancel Order'' button, in case you needed to modify, you have to go through c. Service which is really slow and terrible. Dealing wwith their customer service is like dealing with robots, only typical responses. Very disappointing!
I ordered few items on May 16, till May 29 there was no tracking update after dispatch (order to India). After waiting for 2 weeks I accidently saw by tracking that the status has changed to Returned to the sender. I wasn't contacted by a carrier company or customs, the overall price of the order didn't require any fees. BeautyBay's customer support offered me a refund and is unable to send my order back, I have to reorder items. But since it was monthly beauty box, I'm not able to order it anymore so I'm left with nothing.
I so wish I had read reviews on this site before ordering. I ordered on 7th April for next day delivery so expected it on Tuesday as was a weekend. Nothing arrived. When you call and choose customer services option on the phone, there is a recorded message saying go online. I have emailed but no response.
I start by saying that I have been ordering from Beauty Bay for years and only in the last few months have I placed 3 orders each for more than €100... so it's not that I spend little with them... this time the package arrives: 1 palette missing, 1 palette broken, 1 product already open and perhaps used (compact powder LH can't be seen very well but it seems already tried on. However, it is clear that it has been opened because it arrives with the sealing tape, one cut and the other open and half torn!). I'll send the photos and complaint to Beauty Bay right away. Their solution is: either send everything back with the post office (not courier) and wait at least 21 days and then if it gets lost or broken and something else happens it's your fault and they won't refund you (plus it says what things you used or opened they don't refund - since one of my products had already arrived used they wouldn't refund it for sure!). Of course, at this point I prefer another solution which for them is 100% reimbursement for the missing palette but only 40% for the product that arrived open/used/no longer hygienic (!) and 40% reimbursement for the Palette with some broken/shattered eyeshadows! In the end I pay 60% of the price for things that aren't new or whole even though I'm not at fault and then we're talking about branded items so for an already used powder that is no longer hygienic I'll pay around €17! Are we kidding? Definitely for me this is bad service and I will not order again. It has never happened to me that they make mistakes and I pay for their mistakes.
I love Beauty Bay because they proved my skepticism wrong. My shipment arrived from the UK in a reasonable time. I was a little skeptical about ordering from an overseas cosmetics company but I had no choice because I could find the lipstick shade that I want anywhere else. But they proved to be trustworthy with the quality of service and product they offer. My order arrived today and I couldn't be happier. I will be ordering soon.

I am so dissatisfied with this Beauty Bay! I thought this app was good! I ordered on April 11 2023 and until now April 26 I haven't received the product that I ordered it's just 2 products! I tried so many times sending an email regarding to my follow-up orders and yet no reply! I posted to Twitter and they just reply me to send an email or DM on their twitter *******@beautybayhelp I did DM but still no response and when I opened it it says l can no longer send a message to them. Btw I use my 2 emails to inquire and yet no reply Proof attached bellow on this feedback
I received a package that had been damaged, and the staff takes a while to respond. They seem to be great at selling products, but not so great with interacting with customers. Wouldn't really recommend, they're are better websites out there to order from.
On May 23 i have made the worst decision in my whole life by ordering on this website i was expecting 4 weeks delay to get my order and guess what till now i have not received it i have emailed them but no solution they've told me to contact the shipping company when i contacted the shipping company they opened an investigation and told me that they have sent the result to my retailer which is beautybay... and again i have asked if there is any update about my order's location? They said no the shipping company didn't respond yet... what should i do?
Ordered an item in Xmas break. By Jan 20th, no delivery. Everytime I use their tracking number to track the item, it says your item just been shipped and you shall see an update in 24 hours. Finally got hold of the customer service through email to say that they received payment but the order did not come through. Wow. They can get the money and no order and thus nothing to deliver. The logic of FRAUD. Told me that I will get my refund than asking if I would still like the item. DODGY at BEST as well. Waiting for my refund and using my skills as a Lawyer to dig in deeper to know whats going in here under the UK agencies noses!
Order took months to arrive was told they were changing warehouse and given a discount code.
Took them at their word and ordered again on the 28th September, still no order and am being told some system is down. Need to be reported to trading standards... total joke of a company. Don't waste your time and order elsewhere, hopefully you will get the makeup you paid for...
I am terribly dissatisfied with their business. I waited 50 days for the package. I called them twice with inquiries about the package, they would just apologize and promise to let me know where the package is.
After they returned my money, the package arrived in 2 days. They then demanded a refund of the amount reduced by 10%.
Personally I would not recommend.
