I just paid for a membership and i cant in my Damn account
The webmaster buddybear is a douche-bag and so are most of the stuck up bears on the website. I only made a few friends on bear411 but never found a lover like the website boasts it helps you do. Being on bear411 doesn't make being gay any easier I think it makes it worse and lowers self esteem because of all the unfriendly bears on the site that are stuck up. Hate it worst site ever. I deleted my profile never to return again.
I have been on B411 for several years. Some of that time as a paid 'priority access' member. I have had periodic problems with access & annoying 'messages' which are no more than solicitations for money. No matter what the problem, "Buddybear" is not responsive or accessible. I have given up and will never go to the site again, I don't need the frustration.

PROFILE DELETED TODAY... I sent an obnoxious message to bearguide.net... I think he owns that as well. Told bear net it's a shame they have themselves aligned with bear411. I said the owner of bear is a scammer a cheat and a sociopath. Greg the owner said SHAME ON YOU for writing that LOL I laughed and politely replied. DELETE MY PROFILE... and it worked.
I thought I would like this site have paid on and off for years. My debit card was compromised by someone and replace try getting Verotel to call your bank is like pulling teeth on a duck. Try to get buddybear to correct it is a joke. The same old faces logged in forever without an automatic reset is this sites biggest issue. These stuck up Queens are looking for men that are nonexistent.
It seems the people who runs bear411 just care about getting your money and nothing else.
I have been a member for years started for free and now he is blocking non members, before was odd days you could see only your messages and the odd days you could chat with limitations to look at the pictures and now you can not do anything, Just a reminder to the Web Master there are lots of other sites out there Bear411 is not the only only one and the other web masters are not up tide like him, the sites are free and have as many member as bear411... wake up and smell the balls you are not the only one out there.
I have try to join Bear411 for the last 15 years and they have never accepted me... by the way I am black near 300 pounds. They are the most racist site of all $#*!ing time. I object and they should be sued!

There is no way to delete your profile or deactivate it. This is incredulously fraudulent. You can email the webmaster until you are blue in the face and he does not respond. You get suckered into paying for basic access to the website features. It is pretty bad when the Better Business Bureau has been investigating myriads of complaints against this site. There are far better sites out there for you to find what you are looking for. Save yourself the headache and patronize other worthy sites.
I hate bear411. I got blocked because I was too thin. I found http://HeftyNet.com and found it way better.
I am a non paying member and frankly I am reading all these reviews good bad or otherwise. Yes he has made it more or less difficult to view profiles but as a non paying customer I simply go with the flow.
I do not care to see every man in my area anyway as I am a married man now and do not have for such nonsense because basically I have friends on there that I chat with and nothing more.
And you cannot see who viewed your profile the usual way as buddybear made it for paying customers however you can scroll down and look at who viewed your profile and see their information.
To me most of these negative posts are nothing more than sour grapes from other non paying who are whining about the loss of free.
And you can delete your profile simply by writing buddybear and most of the time he will delete it.
I was on this site years ago, I rejoined for a day realizing this was not for me. I couldn't delete my profile and all emails to the webmaster came back undelivered. So no way to contact anyone. Search the web you'll see how many complaints. Read them. Then make your own decision. If u r a bear or looking for one it may be a good site for you. Seems most members travel the world going to all bear events. They all have events at bath houses which is cool if that's what your looking for. I'm not yet all bears think cause they are offering you sex you should just do it. Not my style if your monogamous dint think you'll like it, partnered but we play. Not with me. I had to edit my profile and say please delete my profile that was the only way I could quit. Read all complaints you'll get the picture. To those people who want to just have sex then it may be right for you. Some people will say not everyone is like this, true but I know from my experience be very careful I've met hustlers who are criminal and the site doesn't care.
I love the site and have made many friends over the approximate two years I signed up for it. I do recommend it to my friends because I have met some really great men and enjoy conversation with and sharing ideas and interests.
No hook up site is worth paying for and locking out nonpaying members for weeks doesn't make them pay. It makes them leave. There are much better where you can post your vids and not get locked out for days.
This site sucks! Offering more features to paying members is totally understandable. But how does completely blocking non-paying members give more features to paying members? That's bribery or blackmail to non-paying members to get them to pay so they can just get in the door! I am a non-paying member and I get completely blocked several+ times a month. Especially when I have messages. I am tired of this chicken-$#*! business blackmail tactics. The owner is plain and simple INUTILE
Like what others have said, when my priority access expired I was no longer able to access the site. Buddybear takes awful vengeance when you stop paying. I have friends who have NEVER paid and they get blocked once or twice a month. My priority access ended at the end of May and today is June 13 and I've not been able to get in for over a week.
I'm a muscle bear... my heaviest was 307 i am currently 277... this site is for bears only... there are a few muscle bears in other countries who are awesome but it's not worth paying for... It was free for years and i never dated anyone off the site so paying was not an option! I was a pain to cancel... i had to go the extremes... but its done good riddens!
My paid subscription just ran out and I can't get in any day of the week so far. I texted friends who have never paid and they tried and got in no problems. If this is a ploy to just try and make me re-up you've unfairly failed by targeting me and not others who've never paid. Adios Bear411... hello Growlr.
