When I received my clock, the box was just a little dented and I think UPS dropped it. The clock was not working quite right, the cuckoo didn't sound right. I contacted these folks right away and the same day they called me back, apologized and wanted to make it right. I don't believe the problem was with them or the clock, I think UPS dropped it and injured it. They immediately sent me another one and it works perfectly. They were very apologetic and wanted to resolve it right away - most companies don't want to do that these days, but these folks were exemplary. I am very impressed, will recommend them to all my family and friends, and I recommend them to you. They have quality products and they stand behind them.
Love the short videos. Wish there were more. My order was shipped promptly and I was given links to follow my order. The clock is even nicer than I had imagined. Keeps perfect time and awes my grandchildren. I bought it as a gift for my wife, but the whole family loves it.
I wanted to purchase a family tradition item to hand down to my children, so they can hand it down to their children. This item was a perfect fit to our traditional family values and wanted to buy a Cuckoo Clock for years and never had an opportunity. Our house flooded during the year 2016. I wanted something to signify that we are back to our "home". I am giving it to my wife as a Christmas gift. I can see the tears coming! Thanks for this opportunity and we will treasure our Cuckoo Clock for years to come!
Tried to call with a question a couple of times with no answer. Left a message. Ordered the clock today. I need it prior to Christmas. No problems with the transaction. My call was returned the same day. Very busy time of the year. Spoke to a gentleman who was very courteous and gave a lot of good information about the clock I ordered. Totally satisfied with the service and product.
I was told the clock would arrive before Christmas so I ordered it. Unfortunately it did not arrive until afterwards. I was very disappointed and will not order from here again and will advise others to do the same.

Everything on the website worked great. When I received the clock I was disappointed to see that one of the trees had come off and needed to be glued back on. Also I think that I expected better workmanship on the clock for the price paid. The wood looked rather cheap. When I hung it I must say that it looks nice and the tone of the clock is nice. However, I do think that it was very overpriced.

I did not open the box, immediately wrapped it so my husband wouldnt see the name on the box. I hope it is all good! It looked as though it was well packed!
I contacted customer service prior to ordering to be sure the item was in stock and could arrive in time for my husband's birthday. The stock status was verified and the item was shipped the same day, so even though the shipping company was delayed a couple of days due to COVID-19, the clock still arrived with plenty of time to spare. My husband loves it. It is a beautiful piece, and he just about has the pendulum in the right position for it to keep time accurately. Thank you so much for your help!
I have 7 grandchildren and have decided that they will each receive cuckoo clock as a wedding gift when they are married... and I will be ordering them from Bavarian Clockworks. The quality and detail of the company's work is exceptional.
Video of each clock would be very helpful during the selection process, though all in all a positive experience. The clock was well packaged and instructions were clear. The clock is beautiful and works perfectly, was well fitted and flawless.
I appreciate the resources your website provides regarding certification and original Black Forest work, as well as types of clocks.
One issue I did have was with shipping - I recieved a confirmation email regarding whether I recieved my clock. I called to let them know its status still indicated it had not shipped. The customer representative checked and said it had not shipped and the email sent was an error and apologized - which is excellent customer service. He knew right when it would ship and gave us the date and sure enought, it shipped out on that date.
Happy with the choices available. Grew up with a cuckoo clock in the house. Happy to find a clock that has an owl instead of a cuckoo! Love the sound of a clock ticking but find the bird annoying. And I love owls!
