Customer service sucks

Hello,

I placed an order online 12/8/23. I received delivered email on Friday 12/15/23. The package was not here so I call customer service and they said to please call back on 12/19/23 if I don't have my package.

I just got off the phone with a customer service agent and he informed me that the items I ordered are out of stock. I asked why I wasn't informed when I called in on Saturday. That question was not answered. So then I asked for a refund for all 3 items purchased and asked for it to be expedited since I had to call back to the company instead of the company reaching out to me letting me know that the items are no longer available. The CS rep put me on hold then proceeded my refund without answering the question about it being expedited. Then came back on the phone and stated that he could not do that since he already processed the refund as well as stated that I am not eligible for expedited payment. I asked for an explanation but what he was telling didn't make sense. I also asked to speak with a new representative because I didn't believed that he understood was I was asking.

Next while on the phone he stated that I said I have received one part of my package (eucalyptus/ spearmint). I said no I never told you I received part of my package because I haven't received anything.

After that call I still felt like nothing was taken care of so I reached out to the chat option. I was sent over to a Mike. He looked at my order saw the refund was already processed, told me then ended the chat. I was not done asking questions before he ended the chat.

Overall I am highly disappointed in my experience with the bath and body works online ordering process and the lack customer service I received since ordering my products.

Below is a screenshot of the price I spent and how much I should be receiving in a refund.

When I called back I was informed that the person who processed my refund didn't include the shipping price so they split my refund in 2 parts. Why didn't he include the shipping price as well who knows but that is what I would like to find out from an email response that I can't get because the email address doesn't work and the people over the phone are not helpfully in any way!

I LOVE THE BATH AND BODY PRODUCTS BUT! I ABSOLUTELY HATE! THE SHIPPING POLICY, IF YOU ORDER PRODUCTS AND HAVE THEM SHIPPED, THEY TAKE THE AMOUNT OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT RIGHT THEN, AND THATS OKAY, BUT ONCE THE PRODUCTS ARE SHIPPED THEY TAKE THE SAME AMOUNT OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT AGAIN, SO YOU HAVE 2 OF THE SAME TRANSACTION PENDING ON YOUR ACCOUNT FOR UP 7 to 14 DAYS. THIS HAPPENED TO ME I CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO HAVE THEM EXPLAIN WHY THEY HAD A HOLD ON MY MONEY $323. DOLLARS WHEN THE TRANSACTION WAS ONLY $155 DOLLARS. THEIR REPLY WAS 'THATS COMPANY POLICY' ONCE ITS DELIVERED THEY WILL RELEASE THE HOLD. THAT WAS A DEAL BREAKER FOR ME I WILL NEVER EVER EVER SHIP. IF ITS NOT IN THE STORE THEN I WONT PURCHASE IT.

I thought I was alone in the complaint that B&BW was packing their products poorly for online orders however it is a normal practice of B&BW. All three orders I received from them so far have been packed with intent of causing damage to the shipment. The candles I ordered were broken and customer service wanted to blame UPS for the damages until I sent them a picture of the poor packing they did.

I will never order from B&BW again. I will never recommend B&BW to any of my friend or family. Good job.

I've placed my candles order on candle day Dec. 1,2023, yet have I received my order. When I called they tells me they out of stock and i may not receive my order til Dec22,2023. BS I need my order before then… they estimated my time Dec 7-13 which I won't be receiving it tomorrow neither….so they gonna offer me a 20% off the next order, no need cause I'm not planning to order again… I literally order from there every month, if not twice a month….also they tell me they can cancel my order for me to the order, mind you I use my debit card and not a another dollar coming off my card for another order they do something bout this order… YES, IM SUPPER PISSED CAUSE I HAD ORDER THESE CANDLE FOR CHRISTMAS GIFT AND HAVE TO BE SHIPPED OUT BEFORE TGE 22nd in order to receive as a Christmas gift…..

Horrible!.

I bought 6 candles on candle day special. They sent it to a wrong address. They asked me to wait for the delivery to wrong place.It took 3 weeks for a delivery to that wrong address,then I called back to re-send it to right address and now they don't have it anymore. They are sold out. Sooooo bad

Defective items

I placed a candle order ( 10 candles) all candles are in a very bad shape, some are broken. Literally I can't keep 1 candle, because they all look bad from the inside, dirty messy outside. Never again

Terrible Customer Service

I had a question on a coupon that bath and body works gave me.
I called customer service to ask the questions and because of a language barrier they did not understand what I was asking. I asked for someone that speaks english but they would not put anyone on the phone.
I tried to ask the question again and the customer service person hung up the phone.
I called back and got another non english speaking person and she also hung up the phone on me.
How can any customer place and order with bath and body if all their customer service people hang up on customers?

Missing and damage ITEMS

I placed an online order early this morning and used code "EVERYTHING" for $4.95 per item. I had 22 items in my cart set to "ship to" my house. I submitted the entire order with payment and it was kicked out and said some items were not available for "pick up" Again I had it set to "ship to". I had to scramble through my entire cart to X out items that were still available online to ship but not available for pick up in the store which makes no sense especially because I had everything set to ship. By the time I x items out and resubmitted my order, the code was no longer valid. Items no longer available should not have been in my cart. They should've automatically been removed and the rest of my available items should've went through with the promo code. I called customer service twice and they were of no help. Said they could only give me a 20% of coupon. This was a complete waste of my morning and time. Bath & body works is not worth this much effort. UNACCEPTABLE!

Terrible service

Ordered candles online. When shipment arrived I had a broken candle. They wouldn't exchange the candle in Lake Charles, La because that one was out of stock and couldn't get another scent. Y'all need to work on better packaging because this is not the first time. Last time it was the plug in oil refills. I will not be ordering online again.

Great product line

Always a delight for me to go through the array of their products, especially fragrances. The lotions, body washes and candles smell really good whatever the scent is going for, this speaks to me about their quality. Stores can be overwhelming sometimes because there is just much of a muchness going on there, you could easily get lost :) but their website is pretty cool to browse and if you already know which scents and fragrances are right down your alley, you could easily find your way around them and shop online

Candle Day Sale

On December 2nd, I went to Bath & Body Works on Flagler and 82nd. It was Candle Day, and overall, it was enjoyable until the checkout point. I feel compelled to share my concerns regarding an interaction with one of their elderly employees.

At the checkout line, this employee grabbed my hand and pulled me because I wasn't standing where the line was supposed to start. This action was not only unwarranted but also quite startling. When I expressed my discomfort and asked her not to lay her hands on me, she responded in a rude manner, even using the term "una atrevida." I found her behavior to be disrespectful and unprofessional.

I must emphasize that such incidents can greatly impact a customer's perception of a brand. I refrained from filing an official complaint at the time, but I believe it's important for Bath & Body Works to be aware of these incidents to maintain a positive shopping environment.

It's worth noting that another customer had a similar encounter with the same employee just 10 minutes before my experience. Overhearing her interactions with others while shopping further highlighted her rude demeanor.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that steps will be taken to ensure a more pleasant experience for customers in the future.

F#@& this store! I went to order a candle on a discount promo that made their overly expensive $30 candles only $10. I was so excited to finally be able to afford one. And then all the sudden, out of nowhere! They decide to not allow pickup in store for ordering online. So that makes the candles (WITH PROMO) over $20 with shipping (being the only option) and tax! I'm outraged. The products are nice but not nice enough for the price gouging and the greed of the owners of this company. You have just lost a long time customer. I will never buy from your store again! And I won't allow anyone to gift me from your store ever again! Horrible, greedy and despicable!

Just received yet another order with everything busted and damaged. A $200 order that is literally useless. Every Wallflower refill is busted, the box has about two inches of liquid in the bottom to the point of the Wallflower plugs are ruined because they're drowned in the leakage. This is the sixth order I've received damaged, the second in a row that I've had to call about because the damage is beyond fixing and now, I don't even want a reshipment. For what? So it can come and be the same way? Call customer service, get a woman on the other side of the world who's dog barked nonstop thru the whole call. Ask for a supervisor, get told sup cannot be located, I may or may not get a callback by end of next week. Was told I'd be refunded full amount but also told no, i cannot have a confirmation email or reference number for the refund so I doubt that's even going to happen. They charge for shipping but then don't even have the decency or respect for their customers money spent on their products to pack the boxes with any kind of packing material. They just throw stuff in a box and seal it and send it out. Total BS. As much as this company charges for these products, which, let's be honest, are not the quality they used to be, you would think, especially when charging for shipping, they would at least pack the products to avoid total destruction in transit. This will be my last time ever delaying with this company. The rewards I have they can shove them. Absolutely no appreciation for their customers or their hard earned money that's being spent.
I have several pics of this incedent however, it will not let them upload. Shocker.

Ok, it's Candle Day, good prices for the candles. Go to order online and they won't let you til the afternoon because they are giving in store customers first picks. Now it's the afternoon, place my order for nine candles and when I go to check out seven of them are unavailable. So I have to delete them and go back and pick new scents. Go to check out, now of them were available. Something delete those from my card and five more times of checking out, til the nine candles I wanted were available. Now seriously, if the check out knows they are unavailable, surely a big company like Bath and Body can have a website made where as soon as inventory is depleted, they become unavailable on the website. Again, if at checkout they can tell, surely they can have a program where the website would mark as unavailable at the same time. I wasted so much time trying to place this order and if it wasn't for the fact I was doing it for my mom, I would have said forget it!

Customer service sucks

The worse expiercne you call with an issue and ask them what's going on why isn't your account working at checkout they're going to tell you it's a glitch in the system so you can't get the promotions today unless you make a new email no resolution not trying to resolve the issue. Nothing a complete waste of time. Customer service cannot help to save your life, so why do you guys kindly have people answering phones who can't help you solve your issue

I ordered 4 mists and 1 body spray and 1 body lotion. I got an email saying that body lotion is out of stock. I asked them for replacement. But they did not do any replacement with other lotion. I ordered it during thanksgiving offer and now I don't hv that offer to order it again. Customer service is very bad they dint help me with it. I have connected with Kia and Sara.

Gift cards

I have nothing bad to say about the product but I do about the gift card. Some one used it and I had them look at it they said I'd used it. Won't give me the address of where the package was sent to. Because of this I won't use bath and bodywork again. At least they could have let me know the address that it was shipped to so that I could have proof for the cops to see into this.

All Smashed Up

I received my order of wallflowers and the packaging on 4 out of the 8 was destroyed. I also ordered 3 single wallflowers and the lid wasn't screwed on tight on one of them and it leaked all over the box losing quite a bit of it. I'm am still waiting on an order that I placed on October 26th. It was supposed to be here by November 6th. I called customer service and of course couldn't get a real person on the phone. The automated information told me it was shipped on October 30th and should be delivered by December 30th 1899. That's correct, December 30th 1899. This is the last time I order anything from BBW! This company needs to do better!
