Not a good lead

We are aware that leads not responding is an issue for some professionals, and we are always actively working on ways to try and improve the connectivity between buyers and professionals.

As our role is simply to provide contact details for customers, we do not return credits if the details are still valid and the customer is not responding, as this is something largely outside of our control. Of course, we will always return credits if the contact details are invalid or if any of the information on the request is incorrect.

Sometimes good sometimes bad

It seems that there are alot of policies that seem to be at play at Bark.com They permit the persons looking for trades or cleaners to accept up to 5 quotes, that is a little accessive. The persons who use the Bark.com are not accountable, they pay nothing and are able to have multiple profiles going at the same time. We seem to be getting a lot of people looking for jobs and not people who are looking for cleaners.

Leads not returning calls or msgs

I have purchased many leads this past week or two, and less than 5% of them are returning phone calls, answering text messages or emails, etc. It has been a waste of money / credit so far

I'm not sure how to feel...

I'm a self-employed, full-time photographer and want to preface this by saying, clients need a convenient way to 'shop' for what they want, that's an invaluable resource. Experiencing Bark as a 'professional' is frustrating. Like most 3rd-party/middle-man platforms, money is the name of the game. My first 80 credit bundle was over $220.00 which bought contact information for 6 prospective clients. Whether or not leads were solid and/or came through at all is neither here nor there, that's not Bark's responsibility; and no, I did not get a refund let alone any credits back to 'recycle'. But now there's a hesitancy with purchasing more credits; the longer I remain selective and quiet, Bark's customer service forwards emails with large discounts up to 240 credits for $211.20. With all that said, being a veteran-owned small business, I can't afford to turn away from helpful platforms like Bark. They are completely necessary at this point for professionals; consistent exposure and leads are also invaluable. I really just don't know how to feel.

Extremely Disappointed

I used Bark's lead service, purchasing credits to obtain contact information for potential clients. The process of purchasing credits and receiving the lead information was straightforward. However, the quality of the leads has been extremely disappointing. I attempted to contact each lead via both email and phone, as recommended, but about 95% of the time I have received no responses. I've tried different days and times, but my outreach has been consistently unsuccessful. Hoping to improve our results, we even decided to upgrade to your "Elite Pro Status" for $90 a month. Despite this significant investment, we have seen absolutely no difference in the quality or responsiveness of the leads. This lack of response renders the lead information useless and represents a significant waste of money, now compounded by the monthly fee for the "Elite Pro" service. I would not recommend this service to anyone looking for reliable leads, especially considering the added cost of your "premium" tier which offers no discernable benefit.

All of the leads were scams or other cleaners. I have not had one good lead. This site has not tried to make it right they just said be patient. I was more than patient

Top Notch recommended Company

Requested solar panel installers. Within 20 minutes 1 company contacted me with a quote.
Company 2 MUKTECH contacted me via whatsapped and sent me a quote.Eric the owner then requested a site visit which happened soon after our conversation.
Needless to say, MUKTECH installed my system and I am 90% off grid.
He was also the cheapest quote with more to offer.

Abysmal Lead Quality

I signed up for Bark.com as a business consultant, enticed by the promise of 'verified leads.' However, my experience over the past six weeks has been deeply disappointing.

First, the leads are not genuinely verified—even basic details like phone numbers are sometimes incorrect. Many so-called leads appear to be individuals simply looking for free advice rather than serious prospects.

The cost of joining as a business consultant is £350 (£420 including VAT), which buys credits to respond to leads. However, some leads cost over £70 each, making the platform an expensive gamble. Despite reaching out to numerous leads, not a single one converted into business.

As part of my onboarding, I was offered a free month of Elite membership, supposedly providing priority support. In reality, when I last called, I waited 15 minutes for an advisor—hardly a premium service. The Elite package also includes five free leads, but these are old leads that others have ignored, often from startups that typically lack the budget for professional business consulting.

While the concept of Bark.com is great in theory, the reality is that it over-promises and fails to deliver. The platform is expensive, response rates are negligible, and the quality of leads is poor.

Not recommended!

I was looking for someone to design a book cover and as soon as I had made some notes as to possible contacts I exited the site and was immediately approached by a company who appeared to tick all the boxes. It transpired they weren't even registered with Bark. My subsequent dealings with said company were most unsatisfactory. I'd presumed that once on the Bark site I would only be dealing with legitimate companies. Clearly the platform wasn't secure as I learned to my cost.
