I have been searching for months for a self-adhesive strip tab previously sold by AVERY. Today I was able to obtain a phone number for AVERY and then had the good fortune to speak with MONIQUE who patiently listened to my disjointed product description, then checked to find it had been discontinued in '2004 and then searched and found what I wanted from another company. Monique, my thanks and appreciation for defining what is meant by service!
Liked the old soft ware I could download. Is much simpler than that on line crap. Give us the option to download it
Avery allowed me to go thru and spend hours customizing my labels/order. A week goes by and i receive an email saying that a portion of my order was out of stock and if i wanted to modify the size by a 1/2 inch i could do so at my own expense, ie; spend more time creating another product, pay to ship it and repurchase. When i asked for a full refund as i had not received my order yet i was told that 1 item (our of a dozen) had been shipped so i would also have to be responsible to pay for that. AFTER 2 Customer Service reps had told me over the phone that i would be FULLY CREDITED. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
The only thing Avery wants to do is sell you their crap. Otherwise you can't use the template. Return.
Hi Jim, our templates are free to you for printing at home. It could be possible that you were in the Custom Printing side of the design tool, which is for our professional printing services. To get started with your free template, you would want to go to avery.com/templates to enter in the template number. If you still have trouble, please reach out to our Care Team through chat or call us at 800-462-8379 and we would be happy to help you.
All my designs are missing and they wont do anything about it. They say my email is invalid when I have proof that I have been using them for months now.
I would give minus stars if I could! Their printing customization is super limited and just straight garbage. I am lucky if one label gets printed correctly of the whole sheet of labels. SMFH
For some reason Avery is changing everything so you have to do your labels online using their "Avery design & print". The problem is it's a step back rather than a step forward. There are more steps, not as much customization, upload to mail merge, download to print, etc. I don't understand and it's so utterly frustrating. They've retired the google docs mail merge add-on. But created this add-on for Excel. However, again you have to upload the excel data into Avery design & print, then after the merge download to print from your printer. It is totally a time waster and again you don't have near the flexibility or customization you did.
They've updated their product to something worse and I've wasted an incredible amount of time 1) trying to make the type of labels I used to make using the google doc add-on; 2) Trying to figure out how to make the merge process faster only to discover you can't because you've got to upload to create then download to print (unless you are making a huge number of labels and order from Avery and they will print); and 3) trying to figure out how to add the label template I want to use to Word only to find out they've retired the Avery Wizard for Word!
This is one of the worst roll-outs of a new design process I've ever experienced.
I have been going in circles trying to reach Avery to ask why the erasable Avery Studio Collection Dividers don't work as stated. Number goes to dead zone, link won't go to chat.
We're sorry that you had trouble reaching out to us. Please call us at 800-462-8379 and we would be happy to take a closer look at issue.
Printing Avery labels with Design&Print can be a crap shoot these days. Many reviewers are emotional and I can sympathize. Yes the labels can be pricy. That's why I don't like making printing mistakes. I downloaded the Design&Print software to my MAC. It works ok for me but GEE it's tedious to operate. Sometimes I go back to Microsoft WORD as it's simpler, faster and more reliable. In Design&Print it seems like too many options and should be more intuitive. Also, it often prints out of alignment. That does not make anyone happy right? Tech support tells me to play with the alignment settings in the software but that does not give me a refund for the misprints. There's more... I don't like their "Durable labels, *******" as they don't stick well enough to surfaces like plastic. Avery are u listening? More adhesive please! I can complain about the ink fading in the sun but that is an Epson issue. I'll review them next. Thanks for listening. BTW citrus cleaners like "Desolve-It" take labels off beautifully. Good luck printing.
I CAN'T imagine what happened the first time but since I have found everything imaginable but success and support. Just close your eyes and guess and your labels will do better than their help--closed, stupid, not available. 10 years ago I had this pro blem. Tried first to do ethics committee labels. You can imagine how immature they were. Doesn't quite help the situation. These people should be out of business when you can guess and get it better than notMAGOR LOSING COMPANY DO NOT BUY--NO SERVICE
The labels used to be good. They changed them and now they smudge and are hard to get off the sheet. Horrible. They don't listen to consumers. I want an alternative to Avery.
The user interface sucks. It is very difficult to use. I cannot use it, and I am smart person. I went to college. I got a degree. Avery needs to improve its user interface to make it suck less.
I recently had the first time pleasure of using Avery Print-to-Order Labels for a project, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the overall quality and performance. They were sent directly to my sister, and she was impressed.
The print quality on the Avery labels exceeded our expectations. The colors came out vibrant and true to the design, showcasing the attention to detail in the printing process.
Avery offers a wide range of label colors and finishes, allowing for creative flexibility. The colors were rich and saturated, and the glossy finish added a professional touch to the labels. The variety ensures that there's an option to suit every project and aesthetic preference.
One of the standout features of Avery Print-to-Order Labels is the speed at which I could get my labels printed and ready for use.
The user-friendly interface of the Avery design and print platform made the entire experience hassle-free. From selecting the right template to customizing my design, the process was intuitive and straightforward. This is particularly beneficial for those who may not be design-savvy.
Avery Print-to-Order Labels provide excellent value for the cost. Considering the quality of the labels, the ease of use, and the variety of options available, I found them to be a cost-effective solution for my labeling needs.
Avery Print-to-Order Labels impressed me with their exceptional quality, vibrant colors, efficient printing speed, and overall ease of use. I would not hesitate to use them again for future projects and highly recommend them to others seeking reliable and high-quality label solutions.

I've used Avery design & Print for years every since I started up my wedding sweet company and invites, I used toenjoy designing something unique and personal for customers, but since the app stopped working I've Hated yes "HATED" doing designs asits impossible on a tablet to do the intricate details and special designs on the online version it's bloody awful actually Impossible to do what I used to I've never ever been behind on orders as I always would design / print / make up the same day.
But not now as I put of for a few days attempting it ashets me so dam frustrated I used to love my WORK but now without the APP I hate it.
Why do people have to change something that's not brokenandworking perfectly fine,
Seriously if I can't find another app to do my work I'm going to have give up my business as I have to use a tablet/iPad as Im disabled and it's reason I bought the iPad and iPad Air for work when had App... Listen to the people they all want the APP back
Too Busy selling my email info to give me access to the templates of products ive already purchased!

Shamefully cumbersome to use given the advanced state of digital technology 20 years into the 21st century.
It takes FOREVER to arrive. It takes about a week to even SHIP and another week and a half to arrive at your house! Honestly it ain't worth the hype, and it's not even that cheap. IM STILL WAITING FOR MY PACKAGE THAT I ORDERED ON JUNE 7TH! I got the confirmation that my order was shipped in the 11thm so I'm like, aight cool, it should be here soon. WRONG. ITS JUNE 19 AND I AM STIIIIIILLLLL WAITING. And tbh, the quality ain't all that great either. When you take it off of the packaging or whatever it looks all foggy and smudged underneath. Not like a glossy finish that I expected it to be. It's like the adhesive underneath was getting wiped off a little, but it sticks on ok, u just gotta keep pressing down on it. How am I supposed to run my business if I have to wait weeks for my labels to arrive? This is crazy, I don't think I'll be ordering from here ever again.
I needed to merge addresses to be able to print labels for wedding invitations. Avery.com made is so easy, even for a somewhat un-techy person.

Answer: I think part of the issue is that Avery Dennison sold off their Labels and Software to CCL in 2016. I luckily still have an older system that uses Windows 7 and Design Pro 5.5 software and I can print most labels the way I want them. The Design and Print software is garbage compared to the older now retired Design Pro 5.5. I have a feeling that Avery (from CCL) is trying to get users to pay to print via their service instead of having a capable program that users can print at home or at work. Even the Design and Print is going away from the "offline" version and going with Online only... I will NEVER go with an Online version ever period! Your better bet unfortunately is to download a template for either Word or Photoshop and print from there if you have a system that is not compatible with Design Pro. Design Pro was created by Avery Dennison and not CCL industries

Answer: Apparently it does. When I ask for a second or third PDF, the file name has (2) or (3) added.
