This place is a scam and a disaster! Claim to be a "family owned business" but when you call customer support you get a call center and their reps barely speak English and are not helpful at all! I place and order that was supposed to be delivered before 2:00, and at 6:00 I got a confirmation text and email that the flowers were delivered. Only problem was that the person never received them. I called customer service and after 15 minutes of them saying the flowers were delivered and me saying that the person did not receive them the rep said someone would call me back in a bit. 2 DAYS and 4 phone calls later to call centers who are no help at all, I am supposed to get a call from a supervisor. Some "family owned" business. This place a horrible scam. Shop local, and DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS!. Call a local company yourself rather than outsource to a third party and get stuck with call centers all over the globe if you have a problem.

Stay away, they do not stand by their word. Ordered flowers that were to be delivered the next day and received confirmation of that 3 times. By the end of the day it was pushed back 2 days. Do not order from this site.

Stupidly selected this company as they appeared to be local to the area I was ordering sympathy flowers for. Placed order and discovered on receiving the invoice in my email that they'd tacked a previously unmentioned $19.95 service charge on (was not a rush order or anything of the sort). Immediately tried to cancel, but going through the online cancellation process yielded no actual way to cancel and just told me my order was in process and someone would be in touch. Tried to call them to cancel for about 40 minutes, could not get through and then once connected could not speak to a person but just bounced around multiple recorded options. No idea if i'll get my money back or not. I don't think this is a real company and there are plenty of legitimate and good options for flower delivery online - I should have checked their address instead of being fooled. DO NOT USE!

This company is in business to do one thing and it's not to deliver flowers. They are in business only to TAKE YOUR MONEY! This company is a complete SCAM! There is a reason they have (223) 1 star reviews ( 1 star only because it doesn't have 0 stars as an option) and only (3) 5 star reviews. I DON'T KNOW HOW THESE PEOPLE ARE STILL IN BUSINESS!

Terrible Company!

My son sent me flowers for my birthday and paid extra to have them delivered on my birthday. That was three days ago. After multiple calls and emails they finally admitted they had the address wrong. No apology, no offer to fix it, no flowers. Do not buy from this company, they are a total sham. I'm contacting the better business bureau next. Ugh! This is a picture of where my flowers should be!

Their address is listed as 200 Continental Dr Suite 401, Newark, DE *******, United States, but just try to find it on Google Maps. I had no luck. The website leads you to believe that you are dealing with a business located in the hometown of the person to whom you are sending flowers. I wanted to give my business to a local Minnesota firm - especially now during Covid 19 business challenges. Fat chance. AvasFlowers quietly slipped in a "bow charge" of $4.00 and a "service charge" of $20.00 besides the cost of the bouquet. My sis DID get flowers, but the sticky label on the wrapping said they had come from the floral section of a local grocery store. Duped! Be smarter than I was!

BAD BAD - DO NOT USE

I placed an order for flowers for my mom and even used their "free delivery" fee only to have a $19.98 fee slipped in at the very last minute. It's almost like it popped up, so a $40 arrangement ended up being $60. I did get the fee back but they wouldn't refund the entire thing and cancel the order even though I had LITERALLY just clicked the "order" button. They are fraudulent... It is a total rip off. They also have "ratings" from "Google Shopping" which is not even a thing... We'll see what ends up being delivered. I am going to pursue this as I do not think they operator above board.

Inadequate Arrangement

Ordered the Sunshine arrangement online... Shown with Sunflowers and orange lilies plus other fall like flowers/colors. My daughter received the arrangement in 2 hours which initially I was happy. But wondered how the arrangement was made and delivered in such a short time. It dawned on me the arrangement was already made and in the shop. List price $45.99. After all was said and done...? Service charge?, tax and delivery charge.( it was supposed to be free delivery) the total was $94.00 Very unhappy. Wanted them replaced They offered me $10.00 for my trouble... Never again and I suggest NO ONE use this company. Unfortunately unable to send photos

I placed an order for flowers online for my daughter's birthday. They charged me market price for a modest bouquet and then added three service charges. The service fee was $20 + delivery fee + transaction fee. They guaranteed delivery same day. Twenty-four hours later, they had still not been delivered. I asked to cancel order. They would not, claiming the order was in process and would be delivered soon. Not delivered... on to next day. Called Avas again. Would not give me the name of the florist who was contracted to deliver the flowers. Flowers still not delivered. Filed a BBB Complaint. Still waiting. Do not, I repeat, do not use this service. Check the Better Business Bureau. There are so many complaints filed against this company that there is a red alert of buyer beware on their account.

I HAD ORDERED FROM AVASFLOWERS FOR A FUNERAL. IT WAS MOST UNFORTUNATE THAT THE FLOWERS (OUR CONDOLENCES) WERE NEVER DELIVERED. NO CONTACT WAS MADE TO LET ME KNOW THAT IT HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED EITHER! THIS IS AN UNACCEPTABLE WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS. FROM WHAT I CAN SEE FROM THE OTHER REVIEWS, THE LICENSE FOR THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE PULLED.

Poor service
October 29, 2020

I wasted my money using their website. I ordered flowers for a family where a member had passed. Instead of them delivering the flowers to the correct address, they delivered them to me. I found them on my porch at 3:00AM. Four days later. When I contacted them Omar said it was all my fault.
Never do business with these people!

Unbelievable

I ordered a large full standing arrangement for a love one's funeral. What was delivered was a scanty standing arrangement. The arrangement looked like a mangy cat with bald patches. Complete embarrassment to say the least. Please see photos of what I ordered versus what was delivered. Also, Avas Flowers has an F rating in BBB and their location address in DE on the website doesn't seem to be accurate. Unbelievable!

We ordered flowers from AvasFlowers for a funeral. We ended up diving over 3 hours to the funeral and after the funeral looked for our flowers. THEY WERE NOT THERE. The funeral director called the local Dillons grocery store and they did get the order from Ava's but didn't have time to get the arrangement made and delivered. We told them we no longer wanted the order and to give us a refund. They told us they would contact Ava's and get us a refund. AVA's never processed the refund! If you try calling them, you will eventually be hung up on with no actual human to talk to.

Extremely crapy service

I ordered flowers for my anniversary I was told I would get them by 7:00 p.m. that night nothing came no flowers no E mail no phone calls letting me know nothing would show up the lady argued with me on the phone when I tried to cancel my order this place is nothing but bull$#*! Worst Service Ever

Let me start by saying, I live in Michigan and my friend lives in Louisiana, so going to pick up the flowers personally was not an option. I ordered flowers for my friend to be delivered on the same day to her job. After a few hours I received an email asking me to call regarding my order. When I called they advised me that due to weather, the flowers could not be delivered as promised and that the next time that delivery would be available was Monday. I changed the delivery day to Tuesday before 11am to coincide with her work schedule. Delivery day is here and I am waiting to receive a confirmation email that the flowers have been delivered, but to no avail. A little after 10 am, I'd become concerned so I tried to use the tracking system that they emailed to me. The tracking system was down, so I called. Karen answered the phone and stated that the flowers would still be delivered on time, but the designer needed my approval on a few changes. Aside from the fact that Karen and I had already had this discussion when the delivery got rescheduled, no one had the decency to contact me to gain approval? Especially since the flowers were scheduled for delivery in 45 minutes! Karen reassured me that the flowers would be delivered on time. At 10:46am I receive another call from Lori advising that the flowers will not be delivered on time and asked if I had alternate address, since she would be gone from work. Absolutely not! She went on to offer me a discount, but how would a discount help me when the flowers are already paid for? I asked for a refund and she stated that I have to pay a $10 for their inconvenience. WHAT? I refused that and asked to speak to a manager. Of course the manager was not available. Then I insisted that I be given a full refund for MY inconvenience, to which she agreed. Then I requested an email to confirm these terms. I'm still waiting on that email. Do not patronize this company. The reviews on their website are good, but upon further investigation, I've read horrible things about the customer service and there is even an Ava's Flowers Scam Page on Facebook. I went with this company in an attempt to support a small business during the pandemic. Never again

Scammers!

My mom tried sending my sister flowers and a teddy bear for her birthday who lives in another state and the day of her birthday they flowers ended up at my moms house. Then they resent it to my sister, my mom got told it was delivered but it was never actually delivered. Gave my mom the run around. I believe they give people the run around to get a little extra coin, my mom had to pay an extra $10 to get it rerouted. A**holes!

THINK TWICE before ordering flowers from this place. TERRIBLE! CHEAPEST FLOWERS EVER FOR ARRANGEMENT. THEY ALSO LIE ON THEIR DELIVERY. PAID EXTRA TO HAVE IT DELIVERED FOR A BDY AND ARRIVED THE DAY AFTER.
