I spent many months trying to resolve a case painfully and the strategy the Autoloss team uses is to throw as much spaghetti on the wall as they can and seeing what sticks. Their figures and calculations for damage incurred changes every time, and the team is generally incompetent. If you bring this issue up to them, it won't help either as they immediately get defensive and deny any wrongdoing. Their responses also take days to arrive. Please save your money and go elsewhere. My friend had a similar case that he fought himself and he got more money than I did, without factoring in the fee I paid this incompetent team. Do not recommend in the slightest.
Well my vehicle got rear ended and from there I contacted autoloss.com, At first all amicable and happy to take your money. They issue me a report which was taken out from different dealerships around my area with stock industry language. They just fill in the blanks. After receiving the stock report they go silent on you with no support whatsoever. In my opinion they have a sweatshop operation producing stock reports with no value. I could've done a better job myself. Another note they get annoy when trying to contact.

The insurance company initially determined there was no diminished value and weren't going to pay out on my claim, however after submitting my appraisal report from Monica they agreed to negotiate a settlement.

I just got done dealing with Monica at Autoloss in Portland. I initially contacted her in mid June after my 01 Tundra was stolen and totaled and after getting ridiculous offers from the insurance company to settle.
Although this took a while to settle and we had to get an umpire involved, I did manage to get what my truck was worth after all. One word of advice, these things take time and the insurance delay tactics are at play so lot of patience is required.
Sad I had to go through this but Monica@ Autoloss team made it bearable.
I contacted them about my new vehicle that got rear ended. When we first started communicating she was more than willing to explain the process and how it worked. Although she was pushy for an answer if I wanted to do the claim threw them she was very professional and friendly. I didn't have my card on me so I had to call back. When she answered I asked her a couple questions and she pretty much just repeated what she said in the first phone call. She asked for my card number, and I gave it to her and said she was gonna send me a receipt in 2 minutes, I started to say something and she told me okay that's all I need for now I'll give you a call back when I need anything else and before I could get a word out she said okay bye and hung up the phone. Saw I'm a single mom. And money is tight. And she knew I had a baby cause she heard her in the background and mentioned she could hear her. I feel like I've been scammed and taken advantage of. My views may change, but as a first impression I'm completely stumped. With ongoing issues with the wreck I was in, my stress is already at its maximum. I truly hope my stress isn't thinking for me and everything works out in the end.
Whatever you do do not use Autoloss. Monica Fisher is only helpful; when it goes to taking your money. With a diminished value claim you may end up going to court. If you go to court Monica Fisher has to be present or your claim will be thrown out. Monica wanted $2000 to attend a zoom court date for 15 minutes on a small claim of less than $5000.
If you choose to go to a diminished value "expert" ask them how much they charge to be an expert witness if it goes to trial. I would never use Autoloss again and I recommend everybody avoids this company for their lack of support. The report is worthless if you go to court without the expert witness. She knows this and only wants the easy money.
Wow, I have never gotten a review like this. Yes, if you go to court and you need me to testify the fee is $2000. If you go to small claims court rarely to never do you need my testimony. I do probably one deposition a month and I always win. The court cases where i testify always last hours as well as the prep time to get ready for court is another few hours. This client just emailed me how much it was for me to testify and I emailed him the fee. Rarely to never do these cases go to court. I am sorry our client felt this way. Let me start with the fact I was able to recover some money as DV BUT:
1. They gave me a report initially which I shared with insurance. -- was ok.
2. everything after than was frustration. They don't read your emails. They sent me wrong numbers in claim letters, and when I asked them about it, Monica was like put in whatever number you like. And then she goes like "you didn't listen to me" and story goes.
After all, I do believe she does have knowledge and experience, but perhaps, due to number of customers she doesn't have time to dedicate to each customer.
Next time I would use another provider as I'm convinced I could get more out of this case, but Monica didn't have any interest to follow as we already had an offer and she'd secured her fee.
I worked for months with an insurance company trying to get diminished value. They would only offer $500. WhAt a waste of time. I was hit by a State Farm Person and they hit and ran me. What a horrible expereince. Luckly, I have tesla so the loss was recorded on my vehicle. Autoloss was instrumental in me getting the full value of my claim. I am very glad Google i found them on google.

My 2021 Subaru was rear ended on the 3rd day I owned it doing over $6000 of damage. Do you all remember that part on the Lord of the Rings where Gandalf tells the group, "run you fools?" Please do, because once they get your $200 and they fail, they will act like you'll get a refund and keep telling you that Miss Fisher will get back to you soon. I heard that a few times 3 years ago. That's a pretty good scheme they got there ripping off people who serve their country.
